I took a leap and got my eye brows tattooed here by Terah. She did a great job. I was very worried about the color matching has I am blond and I always end up being matched with brown tints or pencils that look terrible. Terah's color skills were spot on! I already have full eyebrows, but they were so light they seemed nonexistent, she did a great job outlining and highlighting my light hairs. She did a great job of picking up on what features to run with and what areas had room for improvements. Many stops along the way to let you see what she is doing and make sure that it is what you are wanting. I am really happy with my new and improved eyebrows! Salon is super cute. Terah talked on her phone once and texted numerous times while refreshing my eyebrows, refreshing my eyeliner, and tattooing my lips. After touching her phone, Terah never changed her gloves. She put ointment on her finger and put it on my lips that had hundreds of holes in my lips from the tatooing. Terah was upset and texting because she broke up with her boyfriend the night before. She plays music that continually has the "F" word in it. The only two times that I've seen her, she was on the phone at the beginning of our session with her best friend saying somuch profanity. This is the first time getting my brows done, but I don't feel it should take so many appointments. I had gone to the initial appointment and the follow up which so you know she charges $75.00 for each one. And I'm all ready in over the 500.00 dollar mark and that's with her $100.00 off sale, and they're not right. At this point I'm feeling a little like being taken advantage of . I have at least 6 tattoos and I've never had to go back in for a touch up, and if I did, the tattoo artist would never charge, I feel like the brow thing is a total racket, I have big tattoos that cost 1/2 of what I paid for or what this looks like. It's your decision, but I wouldn't go here if you're going to go through with it, don't be fooled by what seems like a sale. Just go pay the money. read more

Terrible!! I was researching different permanent cosmetic companies and came across Modern Reflections, I looked through pictures and reviews and everything looked promising. During my search I came across a $100 off coupon. I entered my information so that I could get to the pricing. At that time It was out of my price range so I did not pursue it any further. The next day Terah called me twice and left voicemails for me to call her and make an appointment. She called me once more and so I texted her thanking her for her time but I was not interested at the moment due to the service being out of my price range. She responded that she would be able to work with me on the price. With her being so polite at this point I was very intrigued. I wanted eyeliner on both top and bottom. I sent reference photos and asked a number of times if she would be able to do what I was asking for the price we agreed upon. If not no big deal, I would just book my appointment at a later date. She assured me that she could so I went ahead and made the appointment. The day before the appointment she asked to reschedule (same day just later in the afternoon) after checking in with my childcare, I said sure no problem. She asked me to come in at 1:45pm. I show up about 1:35pm and did not hear anything from her, no one could get ahold of her and she was not answering her door. I waited there for about 45 min after my appointment was supposed to start when she finally came out. When she takes me back in the room she had another client who had not been started (double booked?) When she finally got to me she started talking about eyebrows (not the service I was there for so she did not remember me). When we got the service right she then asked me for an additional $100 before she began. I told her that I could not do that and if that were the case I would need to reschedule. She asked for an addition $50, (this was all in front of the other client) so I said yes and she started working on her other client while I numbed. During my tattooing she was using her phone to voice to text her daughter and seemed very distracted the entire time she was working on me. She finished up and I looked in the mirror and told her that was not what I wanted. She said no worries we can make it a bit thicker during your touch up. I said okay and made my apportionment not knowing it would be an additional charge. I followed her aftercare instructions perfectly and the eyeliner was still uneven and had pretty much disappeared one one of my lower lids. So the day before my touch up comes and I text her to make sure we are still on for our appointment at 1:30 PM (I did not want to be left waiting like the last time.) She texts back saying yes and to please come in at 1:15pm. No problem. I bring my cousin this time to get a second pair of eyes after the tattooing to make sure it is even. We get to the salon at 1:10pm I text her at 1:13pm and tell her I am there and if she wanted me to just head back to her room. Nothing. People in the salon were calling her, they told me her car was not there, she had been there but now she isn't. At this point i'm already frustrated. I waited until 30 min past the time she asked me to be there and texted her that if I did not hear from her I would need to reschedule. She came out of the back about two minutes later. Did not apologize just told me she was working on someone and couldn't text while she was working. (Really because the people at the salon told me she wasn't there and she texted through my whole first appointment and why ask me to come at that time if you knew you had someone). I get back to the room and she says, "okay eyebrows" Again she starts talking about the wrong service, I corrected her and asked her to fix what she had started, the bottom lid had almost disappeared on one side and was very uneven on the other. She says to me, "yea, what did you do?" a little taken back by the comment I calmly explained that I had followed her instructions carefully and this is what they looked like after the first service. She then explained that the touchup was originally $75 but she would have to do a lot more work to fix them so it would be more. I told her that she never explained to me that the touch up would be anything additional. I have had many other tattoos and the touch ups were always included. She continued to blame me for how the liner looked and said, "Well i'm not touching you for free, you already got a discount." At this point I was so frustrated I just left the salon. Beware! Terah Comacho is a very polite person. She scheduled me for eyebrow tattoo. The day of the appointment I had to reschedule due to an unexpected work delay. She kindly rescheduled me and then demanded a deposit of $75. After I paid the deposit, she stipulated that if I canceled more than once, I would forfeit the deposit. I recently cancelled with her, over a day before my appointment. Being that I had not paid a deposit for originally scheduling, I was under the impression that I would receive my deposit back. She refused, and claimed that my original appointment was counted as a no show. I tried to explain that she had not legally entered into a contact via deposit with me until I'd rescheduled. If I were a consumer I would be aware to not give her money before you receive a service. A complaint was filed on her and her business practices with BBB. read more

I've had my eyebrows tattooed on three times prior to seeing Terah, and once microblade. Terah re-did my eyebrows (which the previous tattoos were almost translucent) and she was much faster and more efficient than any of the other artists I went to see previously. Her work turned out amazing, I did not look until nearing the very end of my procedure and was completely happy with the results. She has an extremely steady hand and the work she does is detail-oriented and completely precise. Terah is very gifted and I won't be going to anyone else besides her ever again. I plan to get my lips done by her too. I highly recommend Terah to service any and all of your permanent make-up needs and would leave her with more than 5 stars if I could. read more

She really put me at ease & I went in very nervous because I am seeing family I haven't seen in years & I am getting older with quite alot going on in my life and I really would like to look my best. It was a hard decision to even get eyebrow tattoos period & the millenial eyebrows given from a different place really didn't quite look right on my face so naturally so I was worried in having it corrected. WELL! I should NOT have been worried because she knew just exactly how to fix what they did & make what was done look really fantastic. I'd had previous eyeliner and solid eyebrow tattooing from another vendor. Both had faded a bit over 4 years. I wanted eyeliner done and eyebrow microblading. Soon afterward my initial visit, approx 1-2 weeks, my left brow had no trace of micro blading visible and my eyeliner thickness didn't match. I called her and was assured this often happens but with my touch up, I'd be pleased. After my touchup, my eyeliner still didn't match and my left brow had a couple of strokes of microblading visible. I'd paid out ~$800 thus far and didn't have symmetry by far. I contacted her explaining this and she told me she'd would remedy it without charge. I made an appointment but she failed to show up. After waiting about 30", I called her and she told me she was ill and had tried to call me thru messager without success. I set up another and again after waiting close to an hour, was a no show stating she'd failed to write my appt. in her appt. book. I set up yet another appointment and she didn't show up. When I called her, she said she'd had a lot of issues going on in her personal life but assured me she'd show up next time. I made another appointment and she wasn't there. I called her and she told me she was just running late but was on her way. After 30 minutes she came. However, she didn't even remember me nor my issue. When I reminded her she offered to go over my uneven eyeliner so they'd match. On accepting, she started to tell me I needed to pay a touchup fee of $75 for my brow and another $75 for my eyeliner. When I reminded her of her agreement she'd do so without charge given the large amount of money I'd already paid her, she denied she told me that. I reminded her of all her no shows in addition and she said she'd go down to $50 each but no more. I refused. She'd shown me she couldn't remember me after almost weekly discussions related to her appointment no shows x 3 and now her agreement with me not to charge me. I was so done.
