This isn't my first time having my hair done by Sherry as we have followed her as she has jumped around between several salons over the last few years, but it will be the last for me, my mother and my daughter, husband and any others I would have mentioned this salon to. Please see attached image of the result from my visit this week. Absolutely nothing close to what I've wanted or ever had done. Pretty frustrating as we all know how it feels to have something go wrong with our hair as it is such a big part of our looks. But I also know that accidents and mistakes happen. But let me also include the fact that mid appointment I was told my price had increased by 30% since the last time. Not at the time of booking. Not before the first snip of scissors. Half way through the appointment so I was trapped into paying the higher price which I had not prepared for. 30% is a huge increase to drop on someone. After this visit, and once I got home and was able to truly see my hair, I reached out to have my hair fixed as it seems fair that given the $140 charge, we could work something out as I was truly disappointed with my hair. I was able to go in the following day, even thought Sherry was not happy with me. Upon arriving, it was very clear I was there just to have a simple and quick fix by applying a simple gloss over the tops of my blonde streaks, in which it will still fade into an uneven color which I will then have to be spending more money to fix again sooner than I should have to. After leaving and assuming that we are both adults, and what I thought was a good client and friend, we could just let this be and move forward with no hard feelings (all of which should have been on my end anyway), 2 days pass and I get a text that I am being dropped as a client. That I am no longer going to be able to have my haircut by the lady who has worked on my family for years and that I followed and supported from salon to salon. I can say with confidence that this was the last visit by me or any of my family as I won't support a salon that stands behind this kind of treatment towards their paying clients. As a business owner myself, clients always come first as they pay me for a service and have expectations of fair business and communication. I feel like not only did I not come first and communication was non existent, I was also treated as I did something wrong by wanting my color fixed. There are a lot of hard working people and business's out there these days that appreciate and are grateful for work, and especially dedicated clientele. Unfortunately for this salon it won't be with anyone working there moving forward. There is simply no room for overpriced, subpar services and attitudes these days.

She cut it a few years back so I was happy to get her as a walk in and trusted her to do a thorough job. According to the official FS service menu every haircut includes an FS shampoo therapy wash and tousle dry. This manager did NEITHER and cut my hair bone dry. She worked on one angle going around my head and point cut less than a quarter inch there. She never pulled up and out the top section or the bang area to see if everything was connected nor did she cut those areas. There were a couple of snips made to the back area and a couple to the length. By skipping the top of my head, the back, the mandatory shampoo and tousle dry, I left with an incomplete service and imbalanced hair. I submitted a formal complaint thru the online portal over a week ago and have been met with complete radio silence. Buyer beware- avoid this location and manager.

When I arrived to my appointment, it was nice to see such a large salon with many stylists. Thank you Tenzin for cleaning up my long layers. Feels much better without the dead ends. I'm so sorry haha but she was great, we bonded a lot and had a lot of similar interests. She gave me a lot of tips on my hair, recommended a lot of products (in store and out) but didn't pressure me to buy anything. She did great on my cut, trimmed it just perfectly and adjusted my shape so it wasn't as V shape. All the tips she gave me helped a lot in the past 2 months and my hair has felt a lot healthier. Definitely will come back :)
