We bought a newly built home from Denali in 2022. We've moved all over America buying both new construction and previously lived in. This was our 7th home, 4th new construction, we're now on number 8. Every home we've owned has had things come up in the 1-2 years we lived in them. This home did as well. We began building our home with Denali in 2022 and our experience became increasingly difficult as the build went on. Several issues were revisited by Denali multiple times, and often were not fixed properly or completely. Examples of problems with the home range from small things like drawers that closed improperly and cracked drywall to enormous things like a furnace installed incorrectly and a driveway that had multiple sinkholes. We've experienced many days without water in our house due to issues with our water well, spent hundreds of hours, and tens of thousands of dollars trying to get to a resolution. Two years later we are still dealing with issues and frustration. I would not recommend hiring Denali to build your home and I would not work with them again. read more

We have been living in a home built by Denali Builders in Bedford NH for 2 years. It has been stacked with issues that range from minor inconveniences like crooked lights, loose hinges, and small repairs to major system and utility issues. We had no 2nd floor heat many times in the winter (sometimes for days at a time and costing thousands for HVAC services). We've had ongoing water pressure issues and even full days of zero water supply. We've spent tens of thousands on this (and are still are working on this 2 years out). We were flushing our toilets with hose water borrowed from our neighbors and going days without bathing this summer. Our driveway has already collapsed and been patched twice. Our foundation leaked, our stair rails are loose, our decking is peeling up, we received splinters on unsanded and unfinished built-ins, we had a mold issue in our basement which required replacing a lot of insulation. Some of these are resolved, some were resolved but are still not satisfactory, many things I did myself, some we've hired others to help with out of pocket, others just got dropped. I could go on and on with dozens of other issues here but it's a 2 year long list (so far). I also have pictures of stair rails held together with glue and cardboard, vents full of trash and wood after move in, gaps to the outside big enough that I could fit 2-3 fingers though. My wife and I have spent hundreds of hours working on things ourselves here. We've cancelled vacations because we don't have heat or water at the house and need to be here for services. Our yard spent half the summer ripped up while we work on the well. It's frustrating to think that many if not all of these could have been avoided if done properly the first time, even on the cases where we did manage to get them to come back and resolve. Working with Denali was not positive. We had trouble with constant schedule misses or rescheduling when things were supposed to be happening. Subs were changed during our build which led to confusion and miscommunication. A new excavator came in late in our built and we had to renegotiate how we wanted our back yard. We were unsatisfied that this ended up cutting a lot of our planned space. Electrical subs or employees changed which led to confusion about who did what and where things were, there are things in this house that Denali was never able to provide info on who actually did X/Y/Z and how we can get access to warranty info. There are lot of are things I DO like about our house. The aesthetics and many details that we picked were included. Dan and Natasha do clearly have some experience building but I don't think they have the level of expertise they need and the gaps stick out. I don't think we have a 1/5 house but it's been a 1/5 process to get this place built and livable. We're also recently disheartened to speak to others in the neighborhood with similar stories and concerns, but this review at least remains my personal experience. I would never use Denali Builders again and if you found this considering I'd strongly suggest looking into others. read more
