Frustrated, I turned to Yelp again for help. I was hesitant on using the original roofing company from 3 years ago for this repair because I had some thoughts that they may not have done a good job during that first repair. Four Peaks Roofing was fast to answer in my time of need and I was able to get someone to come check out my issue same day. Jorge ended up coming out and I relayed my concerns to him. I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous person than him. When he was inside my home, without anyone prompting him, he took off his shoes while walking around. My family and I have a "no shoes while inside the house" rule but I never ask any outside vendors to abide by it for their convenience and safety. He was the first outside vendor to do this (again, without anyone asking him to!) and I really needed to highlight this as this was exceptional and beyond thoughtful. After Jorge was done inside, he went back outside and got onto my roof to start inspecting. He took his time and came down with pictures to show Hubby and I when he was done. He eased my concerns and said that the sealing from 3 years ago deteriorated with time. The previous roofer did what needed to be done at the time and it's just the brutal summers that just destroys everything so quickly. Jorge encouraged me to get in contact with the previous roofer to see if I can work something out with them and continued to write up an estimate for us if we wanted to go with him. He went out of his way to look out for us and I wish there was more people like him out in the world. I did contact the previous roofer and ended going with them as they worked out something with me that I couldn't refuse. This inspector that came out also reiterated the same things Jorge went over so I was relieved that these 2 different individuals were in agreement on the same things. Even though I ended up not doing this project with Four Peaks Roofing, this exceptional experience will guarantee me coming back here for my next project.

Since we were getting…read moremultiple quotes, it was a week or two before deciding on Copper West (price, reviews from neighbors that had previously used them), and after a slight delay, we received the quote. I requested a change to the underlayment, which Jordon indicated was no problem and verbally let me know what the price difference would be but did take a little bit to get the official updated quote. Materials arrived on time and on schedule (tbh, I was worried that they weren't going to be). Work started promptly on time, and while the crew did work full days, they ran over by about a half day (luckily we weren't in any kind of rush). Workers cleaned up daily and pretty thoroughly at completion. While I do wish there was a little more communication regarding updates to the project, I would definitely use this company again.

Brad came out and showed us all the issues and we figured out that a repair was out of the question so we decided to do the same thing at this house by stripping the flat and sloped roof down to the bare structure, replacing all of the rotten plywood, using SBS membrane, radiant barrier insulation, battens, concrete flat tiles and the six compromised sky lights, with new ones. The sky lights even have motorized shades which is a benefit on those hot days and they work great. It was not an inexpensive job since we chose to use top of the line products. Brad and Nelson made themselves available any time we had a question which did happen a few times. We lived in the house while under construction and the entire crew respected our space, they were always on time and made sure to clean up every night before leaving. We highly recommend Allstate Roofing without reservation for all your roofing needs/projects, due to the professionalism, expertise, clear/fast communication, honesty, workmanship, attention to detail, and most importantly, respect. Jaime and his crew came out to inspect my roof after a storm. They were on time, respectful, took pictures, and explained what they saw in a clear and professional way. They didn't try to force a sale or scare me with exaggerated problems. In fact, they told me I didn't need a full replacement -- just minor repairs. That honesty alone says a lot about their business. Most companies would have tried to upsell. About the complaint saying someone was "peeking through windows" -- they were INSPECTING THE ROOF. Roof inspections literally require looking at the edges and flashing near windows and eaves. That's how they determine damage. It's not "creepy," it's just doing the job someone requested. Also, any good roofing company will walk around, knock, check structure, and gather information before giving a final written quote. That's not suspicious -- it's thorough. Roofs aren't priced from thin air. If anything, I appreciate Peralta's Roofing even more for walking away from a job where expectations weren't reasonable. Honest contractors don't take every job, and that's a positive thing. I got straightforward pricing, pictures, and a fair repair. Dodged a bullet. I requested a quote for potential repairs after looking at my roof after the…read morerecent storms. 3 guys come out to look at the roof. The first guy was very friendly and professional. The other two stayed in the truck until it was time to inspect the roof. While on the roof all 3 of them stomped and ponded around sounding like they were doing something important. One of then peered inside my transom windows. At the end they told me I had a bunch of damage and that the repairs would need to go to the plywood and just the materials would be around $3,000.00, not even mentioning the cost of labor. I asked what the labor cost would be and no answer given. A written quote was not given at the time of inspection. I did mention that I saw one of them looking in the window. A little later in the day I received a message from them stating that they were not the right company for the job. I had a few other contractors out after Peraltas left and they said the roof had normal wear and tear and only needed a couple patches and a new coat of elastomeric. In Repose to Jaime, No guy was not holding the ladder for safety at the point of peering in a window. The ladders were on the garage sides of the house with no windows. The window in question is a transom that would be at knee Hight as the guys stood on the flat roof. If my roof was not within scope than this would not be a roofing company any person would want to hire.

Estrella made it easy. The price was fair, they got us on the schedule quickly, and they showed up when they said they would. The crew kept the area clean and neat, were careful and respectful around the house, and they did excellent work.
