This was…read moremy 2nd opinion place - and I only went because I called ahead of the consultation to see if they did free consultations/took my insurance. Which the MANAGER was who I spoke with, and she guaranteed me that the visit would be free & that they wouldn't do x-rays since i had literally just been x-rayed at my primary dds. The hygienist not only took repeat x-rays, but I now just got a collections letter for a $65 exam fee I never paid. I brought up the x-rays during the consultation and she immediately comp'd them. But now I get to dispute the exam charge with an attorney's office because they sent it to collections. When I left my consultation appointment, they had told me to my face there was NO CHARGE for the visit. I'd give them 0 stars if I could.

I feel like I was rushed the whole time. I was seating in a chair for half an hour waiting for the doctor and when he got there, I needed to go to the bathroom. He asked me if I could wait and I said I had to go. I've been sitting here for 30 minutes so I went to the bathroom to pee and took me only two minutes by the time I came back. He was already gone for another five minutes when he came back give me my shot really quick. I complained about pain again and complain about pain again and he continue trying to pull the tooth. I felt rush and move on; I never felt like this before. And the other his assistant, she was super nice. Help me out with everything. She asked me if I wanted warm towel or a one black blanket and she made me feel better but I feel like the doctor was just rushing too finish and move on. and I also think that now I have a cracked tooth next to the tooth that was removed so I had to go back to my dentist to see what he says about that. horrible experience,and I'm not going back there.

You built everything around a crown I complained about from the beginning and lied saying you could add composite to it knowing it definitely wouldn't work. And when It kept hurting you and your staff worked harder to find a way not to help me. Very unprofessional and rude. After I paid for composite rebuild wich was the worst thing I could have done. I felt you knew what you where doing and you did not. You acted like I was wrong no matter what. Pretty teeth would be nice if they could have fixed the pain It was only the top 2 back teeth that hurt. You sent me away refusing to help. Not much of a dentist if they dont think theres thousands of dollars in it. Money was all they wanted. Wasnt happy with it ever. Change the angle of my top teeth to cause more pain. Dobt get composite here its a joke. And removing it is almost impossible without ruining my teeth. Wich it did. Thanks for half a job that cost as much as a car. To the owners of Dental Care Associates; I have a medical…read morecondition and I have severe episodes and when I do, I am unable to leave my house (I have Severe IBS which I can verify through my Gastroenterologist Dr. Brett Baloun at Samford Center for Digestive Health). I called your office at 4am to cancel my appointment and then again at 8am to verify that the office had received my cancellation. The Office Manager "Courtney" basically berated me for cancelling my appointment so close to the time I had to be in and then reprimanded me and then I was told I would never have morning appointments again because, "she needed time to fill in the appointment slot". I repeatedly asked her if I could call back (I stated 3 times that I was in my bathroom) and she completely ignored me, interrupted me and talked over me. There was no empathy, sympathy or understanding. She spoke to me like I was not a client and I was treated like a 4 year old child on the phone. I finally called back later in the afternoon to speak with her because I want to remind her and Dental Associates: I have been a steady and faithful client for almost 3 years. My family goes there and I have actually told friends and work associates to go there because your doctors are very good. Your #1 problem is your office staff. This is not the first time I have been spoken to or treated this way at your office or on the phone. I have never before cancelled an appointment and my bills are paid and always on time. I am seriously confused at the lack of client care. Stop treating your clients with medical conditions like they are a hindrance to your "appointment" schedule. Have a little heart when a client needs to cancel for a medical reason, it's not like I had a conflicting appointment with my manicurist. (On a side note: if you need to fill in appointment slots so fast, should you be a bit worried about your financial situation?) Today June 3, 2020 I received a letter form your office stating that you need $50.00 for my cancellation. Also, the $50.00 will not be paid and I will be sending the bill to my lawyer and if your business needs the $50.00 so badly, you can meet me in small claims court, because your lawyer might be good but not as good as mine. Effectively, my family and I are withdrawing our business from your office. Reminder: there are numerous dental offices in Sioux Falls that are looking for clients. You have lost 3 clients today and believe me the reviews we will be leaving on websites will not reflect how we have been treated in a positive light.
