The theatre seats are the puffy, fake leather, reclining ones. Mine worked fine and was comfy! I saw a few people bring in blankets and I may do that next time, but it was plenty warm in there. The sound and picture quality were great, if not maybe a little loud. The bathrooms could've been cleaner, but it did seem to be a busier night. I'd go back.

I was (I thought) fully prepared to overpay for popcorn & bottled water to help support the theatre, but was agast at just how much they were charging. The smallest popcorn & bottle of water would have cost @$15, more than neutralizing the "deal" of $5 Tuesdays! Come-on management... let a deal truly be a deal. Now I understand why there were so many vacant seats. Which leads into my next complaint. The ticket sales clerk showed me a screen of available seats and it appeared that only 3 seats were available. Unfortunately, I pick one next to an ignorant man who talked throughout the movie. (Hope he reads this.) As it turned out, there were lots of empty seats in the theatre. At first I didn't want to move, to allow for late arrivers to get their assigned seats. I ended up staying put so as not to disturb others mid-movie. I don't understand the theatre's motive in providing incorrect seating information, cuz I don't believe that that many no-shows occurred. Even seperating the ignorant customer (not the theatre's fault) from the theatre issues, it did not prove to be a welcoming return to theatre! If you want to remain profitable, make your concession prices more reasonable and your volume will increase (for real - not like the bogus occupancy shown on your monitors).

Not too expensive - I think I paid around $12 or $13; my friend $10 something for a senior ticket. They asked if we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs. The benefit, apparently, of upstairs is that the captions are somewhat more at eye level. But we chose downstairs toward the back, and it didn't bother us at all. We ordered a small popcorn to share - no butter - and it was good (I wasn't as over the moon as some --- it was popcorn!). The restrooms are another flight down and quite clean, as was the theater, in general. We'll definitely be back.

The Music Hall here is patterned after the Carnegie Music Hall in New York. It kind of looks like it, but the acoustics don't seem to be that great.. I sat near the back and at some point it was hard to hear. But overall, location (especially for people near Pittsburgh airport area), price and convenience can't be beat... I will be back.
