Denisa did such an amazing job. I'm a nurse and I found her to be professional, clean, thorough and very sweet. She listened to my every concern and want. She also had a student which did not effect the quality at all. She was a great teacher and made me feel incredibly comfortable with a student working on me. So from what I understand, eyebrows become darker the first few days after, which is DEFINITELY not what I like nor want. I went to work less than 24hrs after getting them done and the compliments were astounding, considering they were not what my goal eyebrows yet. They are darker but darkness does not effect quality. My girlfriend and I scheduled an appointment with Denisa Opris to get her eyebrows done. We went to her new shop and walking in I immediately felt a bit uncomfortable since she openly welcomed my girlfriend to her shop and didn't even introduce or acknowledge me as a person. I was waiting in the seating area while my girlfriend was beginning to receive the procedure by Denisa. In the middle of mapping out my girl friends eyebrows, Denisa Opris stopped, then initiated and shouted across her studio and began falsely accusing me of doing drugs on her table in front of her, while eating a pack of Welch gummies...My girlfriend was sitting in the chair trying to get her moneys worth of the procedure, but instead she had to defend me and herself to Denisa Opris, while trying to prove her disturbing, Random, and false accusations were completely untrue and out of line. Denisa refused to apologize for her accusations after my girl friend ( who is a trained student by Denisa Opris.) She then directed her anger to my girlfriend continuously accusing her of being on drugs and "acting weird" because my girl friend asked for her purse. At this point, there was clearly going to be no logical reasoning with her so my girlfriend chose to leave her businesses and would not Allow Denisa Opris to work on her....with half of her brows drawn on still. We refused the service after Denisa Opris wrongly accused both of us for something we proved we did not do. She openly and publicly tried to humiliate us in front of a student trying to receive her paid training and a receptionist that pretended none of this was happening. I hope this review can show people the experience we had to go through and the lack of professionalism with Denisa who calls herself a Teacher, but then publicly, harassed her own student she personally trained. If you're considering Denisa opris as a someone to train you please beware of how she treats her paying customers and students after she gets their money. read more

I just got microbladed by Denisa and my eyebrows look amazing! I did a lot of comparison researches but I found myself kept coming back to Denisa's gallery as her works look super natural and her price is great with the free touchup included. The first step I did that night was sending her an email with pictures of my eyebrows so that she could evaluate whether I'd be a good candidate since I had an old tattoo/microblading done before. After Denisa replied at noon the next day with a yes, I went ahead to her website to do an online booking, saw the one and only opening the very next day and took that slot. Parking was super easy: just enter the garage under the Elements building, and it is free for the first 3 hours on P1 or P2. Denisa was already waiting, she was warm and welcoming. Her workspace is very clean, spacious, well-organized, and well-lit. She evaluated my eyebrows, asked some questions and what I was looking for. Then proceeded with some paperworks before she started applying numbing gel, taking a before photo, then drawing the shape, making sure everything looked perfect, and choosing the right color, before we moved to the table. Not gonna lie, it was quite painful for me. Each person has different skin and pain threshold, and I guess I have a lot of scar tissues from previous microblading done on my eyebrows that had damaged my skin. But Denisa did a great job in checking with me throughout the procedure, making sure I was comfortable, reapplying more numbing gel during the session, and she explained to me step by step. I was pretty worried that the fact that I was bleeding a lot and that I kept tensing my forehead cause of the pain would interfere with the result or that the ink wouldn't take. But when I finally look at my brows in the mirror, I almost wanted to cry out of joy.. so incredibly happy with the outcome. Omygosh, the hair strokes are super natural it's phenomenal, even I can't tell which ones are my real eyebrow hair and which ones are microbladed. They blend perfectly together. She's so talented! My brows are still healing but they're looking incredible, and I'm so happy that I don't have to do my brows when I get ready in the morning. I also have already gotten so many compliments and coworkers have been asking me so many details about the microblading that I've referred them to Denisa's website. Seriously if you're thinking to get a semi-permanent done to your face, you need to make sure you're going to the expert or you'll be stuck with it for a year or so, or end up spending more $ to get it removed. I highly recommend Denisa. Not only she's talented and experienced, but she's also so personable - such a pleasure to be around and really she puts you on ease. It's so easy to do online booking and she's available on Saturdays too so you don't have to take off work on a workday! Update: Went back for my 6-week free touchup. Denisa left the numbing cream a bit longer this time, and even though I was bleeding more than I did on the first appointment (because I started taking skin supplement), but this time the pain I experienced was minimal. We adjusted the color this time and I requested for a little thicker eyebrows. As always, my eyebrows turn out amazing and just like what I want. More people have been asking me about my eyebrows and examining my eyebrows up close because they want to see the difference between the microbladed ones vs real hair. Nope they can't tell. Tip: if you're the type of person who have to wash your hair everyday, go get a shower visor from Amazon as you can't get your brows wet for a week. read more

I can't thank Denisa enough for her amazing results. I considered microblading after seeing so many youtube reviews on it and I wanted to feel more polished on my wedding day. I'm not going to lie, I was soooo nervous before going in. I mean it's MY FACE! I didn't want to look like BROWZILLA before my wedding. Of course, I made sure it healed plenty of time before the wedding and all but it is pretty nerve racking to be in the hands of someone I didn't know. Thank goodness, she posts most of her work on here/ Yelp because there were several brow variations that made me feel rest assured that she can do natural looks as well as bold looks. Parking in the lunchbox lab restaurant building and walked on over to the Sola salons. She was there waiting for me, courteous and professionally in black lab/ nurse attire. Denisa is sweet, kind and gorgeous person inside and out. Her brows are fab too! I came in with my makeup on/ brows filled to show her the look I aim for. Denisa evaluated closely... actually I have never had someone focus so much detail on my face ever. She was uber precise with measurements and my preferred length. We both agreed on the final markup before she commenced with numbing and the blading procedure. I'm not going to lie, it was painful as (bleep). She would make sure we took a break if needed, wipe off a tear or two if necessary. When it was done, phew they looked great. The next few days, boom they are dark but she reassured me it's the healing process and its totally normal. Kinda itchy the coming weeks and scabby but it is worth it in the end. The next appointment was to retouch some missing spots and then heal as before but the final results were perfect. It's pricey at first but considering that you retouch a few months later at $100, it's a great deal. Many places in Los Angeles charge almost double. My wedding makeup artist loved my brows and confirmed, "Whom ever did your brows are amazing!" I still get complimentedi regularly. Denisa definitely didn't disappoint and actually surpassed my expectations. Denise is wonderful. I am 58 years old, and my eyebrows were sparse and so light it was as though I had no eyebrows at all. Denisa is so professional and knowledgeable I knew that I was in good hands. She gave me eyebrows that surpassed my expectations.
