Dr. McBroom explained the different options available for the ingrown toenails and didn't try to pressure me into a procedure that wasn't necessary at this time. I had an issue with scheduling (was sent to Ormond Beach instead of Port Orange) which I fortunately discovered prior to the actual appointment.

Rubbing a cream on them does not help and he was told that. Well, try again and come back in a month. Leave your co-pay. All the things mentioned have been tried for many years and he was no help at all and I see no reason to return. Had to be there early and either sat in the waiting room or the exam room after my appointment time.

She was working on my big toe nail, digging and cutting hard. So very hard. i literally screamed in…read morepain and my eyes watered. More than once I screamed. she didn't stop but grabbed my foot harder and snapped "well, I have to know where to cut." when finished she said something like " didn't have to act like that." when she was at the door and I wasn't sure I heard her right. when I went to the desk to check out I declined to make another appointment. i was amazed and asked them how could they not hear that. they said they were on other side of office and couldn't hear from there. they never asked what and I never said, but I'm sure they knew. Followed up with primary care and when I went over how I was treated said she would not refer anyone to Dr Kirby and instructed staff to remove her from their referral list. WORST, MOST UNCARING UNPROFESSIONAL NASTY DOCTOR ever, please do not use her and go through what I did.
