Absolutely frustrating to the point I just recently had to report this to the VA. They thankfully referred me to a much better practice. The medicine was good, but the service was terrible. I saw this person for a lumbar esi when I first came to this group. He hit the nerve causing that electric shock and jolt running down my leg! I let it go and went with another Dr in the group, Dr Mithani, and he was the perfect doctor for me for the next 1 1/2yrs. Well my perfect doctor moved out of state and I was left with the leftover MDs. I soon found myself needing another esi and my PA John is not able to provide this treatment. So here again is dr.v, to which my first instinct was to cancel my appointment. but I was having so much pain that I really needed this injection. I could only hope he would be focused this time around. I even let him know that I didn't want a repeat of the last time. Well he did it again and he had the nerve to shush me and tried to blame me for not getting the IV sedation!!! Now I have had these injections for over 20yrs and not once did my other 3 providers hit the nerve!! This man is an incompetent sadist who enjoys hurting and not healing patients. The only negative is the appointment availability, if I have something wrong with me my appointments are always next day or within a week. However, if I call to get a physical wellness exam my appointment gets pushed out 4-6 months. It makes me sad because I like to keep tabs on my health every year but having to book so far in advance seems a bit extreme especially since my schedule or circumstances may change during the window that I am waiting. I don't have any chronic illnesses or huge health concerns but diabetes, cancer and high blood pressure run in my family and I would rather be proactive now that I do not have issues in hopes that my preventative measures will allow me to catch an illness earlier rather than later. I do hope they start allowing more flexibility for physical exam appointments. It would be nice if there was a balance of sick visits and physical exam visits available. Also, the front desk staff really needs to work on being more friendly.. I feel that they are always less than eager to help and when you call treat you as if you are a nuisance.
