The staff is very helpful and sweet. I love the doctor's no nonsense approach. I don't flowery words about my medical needs. The PA is also a great person to see. I'm giving this doctor a rating of Four stars just because of the care that I got from them for 12 years!! The review that I'll give that is NOT SO GOOD is this: Two years ago, I discovered a problem in their billing to me. Once I was sure of the problem and had ALL of the evidence, in black and white, right in front of me, I went to them and brought it to their attention. I was told, by the office manager, Arnita, that she would review my findings and get back to me! Never happened!! I informed them that I would not be paying until this billing situation was resolved! I called, literally once a month, to try and get an appointment to sit down with someone to discuss the issue. Appointments were made and the person would either cancel it or just not show up!! Finally, I brought it right to the attention of the Doctor, Stephanie Jones! She assured me that they would "get to the bottom of it", telling me that she would hire a "forensic accountant", if need be!! Well, in April of 2021, at my regular, quarterly appointment with Dr. Jones' colleague, I started to check in and was informed by the front desk person that Dr. Jones wanted me to start paying on my account or "she would not be able to see me anymore"!! I was shocked as I had been the one trying to resolve the billing issue with NO cooperation from them at all!!! I tried to explain that Dr. Jones has obviously forgotten that there was an issue that needed to be addressed and that I'd been TRYING for almost two years to get it resolved!! I was met with a very defensive receptionist, who kept telling me that it wasn't HER fault, and that she was just the messenger!! After my appointment, I asked to see the office manager, who, of course, "wasn't there"!! I left with the plan of calling their billing office again at a later time. A week later, I got a call from the office manager, who asked me what I THOUGHT THEY OWED ME? I told her the number that I'd come up with, very preliminarily (without sitting down with someone from their billing Dept., who knows what the number really was......but, at this point, they didn't care anymore!!) I was told that my Bill that I had outstanding would be wiped to zero and that I would get a check in the mail for the difference of that amount and my preliminary number that I'd come up with. Then the real TRAVESTY happened....I was then told that the receptionist had said I had been rude to her and that they felt like it would be "better if I found another pain doctor"!!! (Better for whom?????) No one would talk to me! I was not allowed to give my side of the" story "!! I believe my phone number was somehow blocked because I could never again get through to a PERSON to even begin to talk to anyone!! Two weeks later I got a certified letter in the mail, basically "inviting me NOT to return to her office as a patient!!" UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! My opinion is that this is a perfect example of what Dr Jones' SAYS she strives to NOT DO!!! Dr.. Jones claims that she "cares" about each of her patients.... This treatment of me after 12 years does NOT demonstrate that AT ALL!! She knows how difficult it is to find a good pain specialist, especially after having been there for so long, being a fellow medical professional, and the fact that she knows me, my history, and all of my physical problems (of which there are many)!! Maybe she just bailed!??!! Maybe my Medicare reimbursement that she gets now, just does not add up to my being worth it (compared to the Railroad Insurance coverage I've had with her for 12 years)??? I just could never "find" the rudeness that she claimed and she certainly didn't want to take the time to explain it to me!!! VERY HURT, devastated, shocked!! Life will go on, but the DISILLUSIONMENT and the decline in faith in my fellow mankind grows larger!! read more

This used to be a very caring clinic. It now is similar to a used car lot. "There are only four of these super special machines in America and we have two at our clinic." "We will let you try the machine twice and only charge you for an office visit. You will love how well this works and after the first two visits the costs is only $150 a treatment." Totally different atmosphere from the patient caring it used to be, now it's sell, sell,sell and the heck with the patient. A real pity. read more

I saw Dr. Stephanie Jones over four years ago for steroid injections for ruptured disc in my neck. I eventually had surgery but got the relief I need for six months until I could schedule the surgery. Here I go again with several more bulging discs & horrible pain down my arm. I had forgotten about Dr. Jones until I was at PT (down the street) for another issue and her name came up. I called less than a week ago and today I got my injections and the pain is gone. I'm in shock. She worked around my other medical issues and jump through hoops to help me. I just wish there were more medical professionals like Dr. Jones who truly care about their patients. read more

Dr.Jones is amazing. I'm actually from Austin. I drove all the way down to SA cause her and my mom are good friends. I wanted a second opinion! I have had pain in my leg for 6years. 3 surgeries. Several shots and injections later. I went to her. She knew it was my nerves and gave me a medicine for nerve pain. No other doc has offered this and trust me I know I've been to several..! Over the years I have battled bi-lateral Ménière's disease, falling with a broken back at T-12 with severe head trauma, and other issues. Her only review was by the daughter of a friend of hers, so I felt obligated to give an unbiased observation from an actual patient who has seen her numerous times over the past year. Dr Jones can't be trusted, and I highly recommend to anyone seeking help with their chronic pain to look elsewhere. Of course, if you are just wanting someone to fill out prescriptions for Oxycontin, Vicodin, etc., she is pretty good for that. However, if you want someone who listens, understands your situation, and won't treat you like a drug addict, she isn't the pain specialist for you. There are several others available, but it is getting harder and harder to find a good one unfortunately. In addition to how she treats her patients, her staff is also as incompetent as I have ever seen in the medical field, or any other field for that matter. Not only has the receptionist kept me waiting to sign in while she is finishing up on a personal call, the rest of the staff act as if I were an inconvenience when I dare ask them a question, or request clarification on something.
