Gave a retainer to help with a will. The did very little work then made up a charge to not return any of my retainer.

We had a very nice first meeting with Ryan and felt comfortable to do our trust with them.read more

I called Darling Law Offices to ask a basic question about the scope of their publicly advertised…read moreasset-protection services. My grandmother is an existing client, but I repeatedly explained that I was not requesting any confidential information about her, her estate plan, or her account. I only wanted to know whether the firm handles asset protection related to potential litigation so I could determine whether my grandmother needed to contact the attorney herself. The receptionist, Claudia, repeatedly insisted that she could not speak to me because I was not my grandmother, even after I clarified several times that I was asking only about the services the firm offers to prospective clients. She even refused when I reframed the question as a potential new client seeking information about the practice. After approximately ten minutes of going in circles, I read the firm's own Google description stating that it handles estate planning and asset protection and asked whether its asset-protection services extended beyond living trusts. Claudia finally answered "no." That simple answer was all I had been requesting from the beginning. When I expressed frustration about how unnecessarily difficult and disrespectful the interaction had been, she hung up on me. I understand and respect client confidentiality. That was never the issue. Asking whether a law office provides a particular service is not a request for another client's confidential information. Based on this interaction, I would not feel comfortable trusting this office to communicate respectfully with my family.

Most awesome and best experience possible! I highly…read morerecommend Kyle and his Team due to exceeding any and all expectations. All people associated with the Law Firm were always courteous, thorough, professional, yet extremely kind, comforting and personable, thus putting you at ease and making you feel secure through the stressful process of the Legal System. Truly a harmonious Team with everyone working together seamlessly to expeditiously accomplish the goal of an equitable resolution through a very tedious process. (Took over a year to get through the Legal System to Final Resolution.) Kyle and Ryan are clearly experts on trusts and wills. Their knowledge of the law is exceptional, which is emphasized by their long term experience with local Judges, Mediators, and Attorneys. Down-to-earth, patient, making sure they understand what is being conveyed to them and expressing themselves in an understandable manner when the legal jargon can get confusing. They both can be "bull dogs" with big hearts - eloquent and tenacious. Fees for services are VERY reasonable and competitive. Only observations of improvement would be LESS hard copy paper and MORE electronic sharing of documentation for handling and filing purposes to make it easier for those who request such service. (I hate scanning documents.) Thank you to all on the Team and best wishes on your future success!

Over several weeks, I provided extensive documentation, organized chronologies, affidavits, and corroborating evidence. My communications were handled primarily by Angelina A., an intake specialist at the firm. Despite the volume of material provided, intake repeatedly stalled on a demand that I personally produce my uncle's medical records to prove incapacity. As a non-fiduciary family member, I do not have legal access to those records under HIPAA. Obtaining medical records in this context is typically done by retained counsel through subpoena and discovery, not prior to intake. I explained this multiple times. This request was unreasonable and disconnected from how trust litigation proceeds. After weeks of back-and-forth and no meaningful progress, we reached an impasse, they declined to move forward. The intake process was inefficient, frustrating, and left a lot to be desired. Based on this experience, the firm did not appear serious about evaluating the matter in good faith. We will be seeking counsel elsewhere.

Not sure if this person is normally a quality employee and was just having a bad day, but it's unacceptable to talk to a potential client with such a belligerent tone of voice, to make them think they're annoying you, to argue with them over petty details when they're trying to respond to your questions to the best of their ability. Putting such a person in that important position honestly makes me question Mr Grossman's judgement. I ran restaurants for many years and had to deal with the occasional unfair review, and this background makes me extremely charitable toward others who deal with customers on a daily basis. I know it can be difficult. But this experience was egregious enough to warrant the review.
