One star is being too generous. I've tried to give this location multiple chances, but they've never improved. The food is consistently greasy and tastes like old oil. Servers disappear and never return to fill coffee - until you go and track them down. The bathrooms were without toilet paper and had water all over the floor. I notified the manager on duty but nothing was cleaned and no paper was replaced. If you just visit a diner, skip this place. There's many other places in Fort Smith that are better. read more

I went around two weeks ago, my server was this older blonde lady named Donna. The food was great but I wouldn't go back if they hire and keep employees who are rude to customers and other coworkers. I repeatedly asked for extra ranch for my salad. She continued to make snarky remarks to me. She told me salad isn't healthy with that much ranch and it looked lIke I needed to lose weight and she was just helping me out. I never received my ranch. I only received two refills on my water. My cup sat empty the majority of my meal. I drink a lot of water do to a health condition. During my meal I had to listen to her bitch at everyone. That isn't the type of atmosphere I want to eat in. I feel bad for her coworkers. When I asked to speak to the manager she said "maybe I would help you if you tipped better" then walked off. she was the only server that night. We have tried this Dennys on several occasions, thinking that maybe we ate there on an "off" day for them. Each time we visited they were "behind" and trying to catch up according to the waitress, who was very sorry. Three times we waited over an hour for our food, one time the food was only lukewarm, butter wouldn't even melt on my pancakes. I feel it has something to do with management as we have gone to Dennys in other towns and it was very nice, reasonable wait times and hot food. That is why we tried this Dennys so many times, thinking they were just having a bad day. NOT!!!! We are finished...going to Ihop or Cracker Barrel now. read more

I was a bit skeptical about eating at this location due to some of the reviews; but I could not have been happier with my experience. My boyfriend and I were wanting some Denny's before beginning our trek to Kansas. We were seated quite quickly and was immediately greeted by our server. She brought our drinks and then left twice allowing us enough time to figure out what we wanted to eat. After the third time, she took our orders and sent them to the kitchen. She was never rude or rushed us; she was very very kind the whole time! Our food did take quite awhile to come out and when it all did, it wasn't quite hot. My boyfriend ordered a sizzling skillet but it wasn't sizzling at all when it came out. The food was all good -- just not quite hot. The bathrooms were very clean too and somebody came behind me to empty the trash cans. Overall, our experience at this particular Denny's was great. I recently placed an order for carry out. Upon arrival, I told the staff that I was there to pick up the order and gave them my name. They all gave me a blank stare and stated they don't have an order to go. I provided them with the name of the lady who I had placed my order with and was told she had already gone for the day. Good thing I had the name or I may have received another blank stare and silence. After waiting awhile after the manager had stepped away, she returned and placed the order for me, apologized and I waited. I went in on my birthday for my free grand slam. The staff was very friendly and I was seated quickly. With the grand slam I was able to choose four items. I got the pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. I got onto their Wi-Fi and my food came surprisingly quickly. Everything was cooked perfectly. They refilled my soda while I was eating and gave me a to go cup for what was left. I paid 2.50 for the drink. If it's your birthday go get your free grand slam. We went to this Denny's Restaurant after graduation night on May 17th 2019, party of ten we went in at 9pm and didn't get served til 11:00 pm and had very poor service. I like this place better than IHOP or Waffle House. Their value menu is fairly cheap with a lot of great options. They've recently had some work done inside, so they're pretty clean most of the time. I think the quality of their food is better than what I've had at most other places, and my service most of the time has been decent. Sometimes even great, depending on who you get. Colby is awesome. Also, I saw some complaints about the T-bone steak, and all I can say is, it's a diner. If you want a steak go to a steakhouse. read more

The service really depends on which waitress you get. I have had good and bad experiences there. Be prepared to stay a while. It seems like every time that we go it takes 30-45 minutes for our food. Today our order was actually correct because I complained about our experience from a week ago to the manager before our food came out today. He says that he is working on the service issues. i did pcp on accident in the 9th grade and got scared my school building would swallow me whole so i walked to denny's instead of going to class. i couldn't read the menu because there were maggots in my eyes but the waitress was kind enough to read it for me. i had an allergic reaction because i forgot i had an allergy to peanuts and ordered the peanut butter smothered waffles and i had to get flown to a specialist hospital a few hours away. on the way home i stopped by a denny's and ordered a grand slam, it was delicious read more

My wife and I enjoy having a late night date here every week, and I am addicted to their breakfasts. All the servers seem honestly dedicated to keeping customers coming back. NOTE : this is a very popular restaurant, and some times (Sundays especially) are busy, so you may have to wait. We bring our iPads to use their free Wi-Fi while we wait. read more

Went in during non busy hours on Sunday 26 May 2019. Had 2 adults and 2 children under 3. Placed order. Watched other people be seated and orders taken. Watched those people get served food. Finally after we had been there 40 mins the waitress asks if we want some goldfish for the kids. We said no, we need our food. It's always a hit or miss with Denny's. Some days it's okay and some days it's terrible. Staff stands around while eating on the job, doesn't check in with customers on if they need refills or if the food was ok, employees fighting in front of customers, managers running around like a chicken with its head cut off cleaning tables because the other staff is too slow or not doing it at all, register workers not acknowledging customers when they're at the desk. I could go on but you should get the gist by now. The food is ok but not the best. read more
