Not long after moving to Columbus I hit my daughter's car as I backed out my minivan. You're probably thinking anyone foolish enough to do this can't possibly contribute a meaningful review. Suffice it to say that there were extenuating circumstances. Being new in town I turned to Yelp reviews of body shops and saw good reviews for the Dent Doctor. No appointment was necessary and I didn't have to wait at all to have someone take a look at the van. The estimator explained that the only way to get a perfect repair would be to replace the bumper which would cost $1000 to $2000 at any body shop. However, if I was willing to have the car back to 80-90% of its initial condition they could remove the dents and touch up the scuffs for about $250.00. This was exactly what I wanted. The work was completed in less than 3 hours and the bumper looks fine; you'd have to know that there had been a problem to find it. I was pleasantly surprised since I didn't think these non-metal bumpers could be repaired. I returned with my daughter's damaged car. They were able to buff out the scuffs on her door and take out a small dent. This was all done without needing touch-up paint. They explained that it's always best to avoid repainting if possible, since a dealer can always detect a repaint and it raises red flags about the severity of the accident if you need to trade-in your car. Once again, no appointment was needed and I got the car back in less than 2 hours. I was promised that the vehicle would be 90-95% of perfect condition, and it was. The price was just under $400 as promised. I wish the whole thing had never happened, but getting both cars back into good condition for less than $700 was a relief. I went through a car wash this winter and it damaged the paint on the "sail panel molding" of my vehicle, both driver and passenger side. I called the dealer, which suggested a local auto body shop to look at the damage b/c it would be 40% less than what the dealer would charge me. I also check YELP recommendations and the suggestion that my dealer gave me barely had "1star." I trust the YELP site, so looking at the ratings, I ran across "The Dent Doctor" on Kenny Road. I went in on a Saturday and was immediately greeted by the owner and front desk. Together, we went outside to look at the vehicle. He felt he has the best guy there to assist with the paint problem, so he brought my car in for an initial "paint" and also provided me with a quote if I decided I wanted to replace all the molding. He was not high pressure at all; I was impressed with how he took his time with me since I was upset about the damage. We decided I would let the new paint soak in, and come back later in the week to buff it out. I was so happy, b/c the initial paint before the buff looked great! I was back at Dent Doctor on a Wednesday, again the owner brought my jeep immediately in, and called me in to see the final buff job. It was great! Together, we decided I shouldn't replace the "sail panel molding." The job was well done! The service was exceptional! They have a customer for life! read more

This company is who you want to fix your vehicle. I walked into the shop and the owner greeted me and he inspected my car's damage. He confidently advised me that they would be able to repair my trunk lid though there were two surfaces affected and the work, a bit difficult. He stated the repair will be likely 95% perfect, and they would work for even better than that. He explained that this repair is less costly, but the real advantage is that there is no replacement and the factory paint( which cannot be duplicated with a new part painted to match) is kept intact resulting in the best effective repair. More economical is an extra. After little more than an hour I returned to the shop and I was taken to see my repair. As stated earlier this repair was truly a restoration. Beautiful, and my car looks as if no damage ever occurred. Even the teeny ding I've tolerated since buying my car a year or so ago is no more. It's perfect again. This is who you want to fix your car, and where I will return to if the need arises. read more

My 2013 Malibu LTZ rear bumper was messed up pretty badly when I was hit in my apartment complex parking lot on my way to work Monday morning. After stressing out over repair costs I brought it to Dent Doctor. I received a quick and reasonable estimate by the owner, great customer service from Jessica, and great turnaround time (less than two hours after I drove in without an appointment). It's a shame I can't attach pictures to my review so you can see the quality of their work which I consider to be an absolutely excellent value for what I paid. My car has a beautiful 3-stage red paint job that would have been difficult and expensive to match and blend if I had my whole bumper replaced. If you need this kind of work done on your car, I can't recommend these guys enough. I use Yelp often to read reviews (this is also how I found Dent Doctor) but I created an account just now to share my experience because I was so impressed. They deserve all the praise they are getting from other Yelpers. read more

Somebody opened their car door into my passenger side door and made a decent size dent/ding right on the body crease. I had never heard of Dent Doctor until I started looking online. After reading the reviews, I decided that I would take the hour drive to check them out and see what they could do with my door. The manager greeted me and looked at my door. He reassured me that they could fix the dent to where nobody could tell there was ever a dent there. Because of the complexity of the dent on the crease, he quoted me $300. After roughly two hours, the manager was absolutely correct. The dent was gone! I couldn't have been more satisfied. I also got $10 off with the online coupon on their website, thanks to Jessica at the front desk and her tip that I could have the coupon printed off at the nearby FedEx print shop for 64 cents. I hope I never have another ding or dent, but I would definitely use Dent Doctor again if needed. read more

Two weeks after getting her driver's license, my 16-yr-old daughter backed into a concrete block, damaging the rear bumper so much so that the entire rear panel was beginning to detach. The gentleman at Dent Doctor was completely honest with me -- he told me I had two options: (1) Completely replace the bumper to make it look like nothing had happened -- to the tune of $500-$1000! or (2) Repair the bumper and touch it up as best as possible for $240. It wouldn't be perfect, he said, but acceptable. He advised me to go with the acceptable -- this is an older car, my daughter is only 16, and I'll have 3 more new drivers coming along after her. "This is bound to happen again," he said. So I went with acceptable, and the repair is just fine. I appreciated his honesty and the fact that the car was in and out in 45 minutes. You HAVE to try this place. My 16 year old son, crashed his 22 year older brothers car yesterday. Smashed up the front bumper, some paint transfer and dents. Mark and his team are miracle workers!! I asked if he could also look at fixing the side of the car where it was side swiped while he was in college. Told me to come back in 3 and half ours and he could fix everything. fixing the side would only be a couple hundred more. He set expectations that he can fix most of it, but probably will show a little. He couldn't have been more wrong! It looks brand new, and 1000 times better than when we dropped it off! So not only did they did an awesome job, he saved a younger brother from getting the wrath of an older brother all summer. Very unprofessional people and the manager is a mygynistic guy. I had 2 small dents in my car and we went there only for the fact that the place will do paintless repair but thats just a show and tell for them I guess. They applied white paint on my beautiful lexus and completely damaged the look. He didn't even bother to inform me or my husband before taking that decision. When we finally get to know he talked down to me in such a horrible manner. I posted a review on Yelp few days back signing through fb but somehow these people can manage to get rid of it. Seriously if you want your car to get fixed with well mannered professional people then I highly do not recommend this place. I selected this location for a dent repair on my wife's car (my mishap) for its convenience and good reviews on Yelp. I had some trepidation when I entered the office, which is well-used and in need of updates, and I was disappointed that they wouldn't honor an online discount without a printed copy of the coupon. However, they gave me the helpful suggestion to print a copy next door at FedEx. This was a hassle, albeit a minor one - and worth the savings. It took about 1.75 hrs to finish the work, and I have to say, the repair was extraordinary. I was sincerely impressed with the quality of the work, and my wife was surprised and thrilled, too. I bought a brand new 2014 Mazda CX-5 and in less than a week, I had two small dents above my left rear wheel well. Dent Magic on Sawmill wanted to drill access holes in order to reach the dent, which I did not want on my new car. So I went to Dent Doctor for a second opinion. "You're kidding" was the reaction when told them about Dent Magic wanting to drill holes. The gentleman at the front desk laughed and said, "No, no holes needed - we can get those out, no problem". 55 minutes later and for the same price quoted by Dent Magic, these guys at Dent Doctor had the dents out and it looks like nothing had ever happened. My eight year old Accord was hit by a softball on the driver's side front fender. Also, there was a long scratch with a slight indention on the other side on both doors. The first quote I received from a car dealer body shop was $1,500 for each side, so $3,000 in total. They were going to order a new fender and repaint. I did not want to spend that kind of money on an old car. My son, who works in insurance, recommended Dent Doctor. I brought it in at 9:30am and by 2:30pm Dent Doctor had popped out the softball dent, buffed out the long scratch and popped out the slight indention. I had a dented rear wheel arch on my 10-year-old Audi A6, but could have lived with the damage if repair was too expensive. My experience at Dent Doctor matches most of the reviews here: pleasant and responsive staff, instant assessment, crystal-clear expectations ("I can repair it paintless, but it won't be invisible because the metal is stretched"), a fair quote in writing, no upselling or sales gimmicks, repair while I waited (about two hours), and quality of work beyond my expectations. There was an unfortunate incident with my new 2016 Honda Civic. Less than 2000 miles on it! Someone happened to sit on the hood leaving a sizable dent. I stopped by the Dent Doctor for an estimate which was quick and easy. The confidence and knowledge displayed during this period sold me and I stopped in the following business day. In less than an hour the entire thing was gone! I honestly can not tell you where it even was. What a GREAT place!!! I bought a used car that had couple of dents/scratches along the passenger side door and a some scratches near the handle on the driver door. I figured that the driver door scratches were not such a big deal so I only got a quote for the passenger side. It was very reasonable! When I went to pick up the car the driver door scratches were done too. I paid nothing extra!! The people were friendly, and patient with me asking LOTS of questions. I love this place. I first took in my son's car to get a repair before turning it in on a lease. Because of the depth of the dent they only promised an 75% success but it was a 100% in my estimation. I then took my car in for some minor dents and they were erased. Subsequently I have taken in both daughter's cars and the repairs have made them look new. For a reasonable charge you can have those little (or big) dents removed and you are driving a car again that you are proud of. I have recommended this place to everyone I know. I had a small dent and chip next to my tail light from bumping into a trash can. I didn't think it was necessary to pay to refinish the whole side of the car (which is what a regular body shop would have done) since the scratch and dent were barely visible. The Dent Doctor fixed my dent and scratch which was down to the bare metal and made it hardly visible. I'll definitely be back if I have any minor body work that needs done! read more

I had a dent in the back corner of my plastic bumper. They repaired it in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. They were also very friendly. Most places would not fix a plastic bumper and would want to charge a lot for a new bumper but they were able to fix it and it looks like new. I would highly recommend going to them. read more
