I reached out to Brian about a small, but "sharp"--and very annoying--dent on the hood of our brand new Volvo. He was able to give me a ballpark estimate based on the photos I sent, though again, the dent was small and hard to see if you weren't looking in person. Neither of us were sure if it could even be repaired based on the photos, but once he came out and had a preliminary look, he felt confident and got right to work. I was very glad to have someone who could do a mobile repair...he came right to my house and performed the work out front while I continued working from home inside. With decades of experience, Brian was able to restore the hood to like new in a couple hours. My RAV4 sustained a sizable dent in the right rear quarter panel just above and below the body/crease line as I was pulling out of my garage and sandwiched the car against the handle bar of my bike and the wall. I submitted a request through Yelp and received 5 bids. I eliminated both the highest and lowest bids leaving 3 including Brian's, any one of which I would have been ok to go with. However, Brian was the only one who followed up the initial bid with a phone call to discuss the scope of the repair, expectations and outcome. To some, this might not matter much but to me this personal touch makes all the difference. The repair took about 2 hours in my garage because it was raining that day. I had 4-5 dings from a large pine cone on my carbon black hood that was repaired by Brian. He warned me hoods are difficult and based on my photos he could probably get it 99%. Also, the hood is aluminum and what I read it's more of a challenge since it doesn't have memory like sheet metal. Anyway, Brian finished and said it's 99%; it looked a 100% to me and he had to point to the 1% imperfection which was still hard to notice. Brian is very polite and patient, too. I was pulling down a suitcase in the garage from a shelf above my wife's very babied Subaru when I lost a grip on it and it hit the hood of her car and made a couple of dents. Boy.. was I in trouble. I assured her that it could be fixed and started Yelping for Dent repair guys.
