TL;dr Pro-Fast is awesome. They charged me less than half of the next lowest bid, came to me on my schedule, and did a perfect, totally flawless job. My Story Scratched the quarter panel of my new car. Got estimates. They all involved leaving the car for between four days and two weeks, and a cost of $1200 to $2000. No thanks. I was a little nervous about a mobile service, but I saw Pro-Fast's great reviews, talked to Ronny, the owner, on the phone, got his price, and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. Pro-Fast pulled into my driveway at exactly the agreed-upon time and worked for an hour or so. Scratch was mostly gone, and I was thinking, "Well... OK, I guess." Then Ronny explained he wanted to let the paint dry and would be back in a week to finish the job. I requested a quote and he got back to me very quickly... a lot of the other places I contacted wouldn't handle paint touch-up jobs, but Rony was extremely up-front and honest about this. He said the touch-up would only be 80% of what he considered a full fix (which would be to repaint the whole panel), but this scratch was so small that it didn't seem worth it to me. Logistics were also somewhat more complicated since it wasn't my car that was being worked, and Rony worked with both of us to get it scheduled and get the job done. I put two scratches into my brand new car (one while removing some bird poop that had crusted on - don't do this without soap friends!, and another while loading a bike on a tow hitch rack.
