But from the moment I got there the doctor did an absolutely immaculate job... seriously, his skill and confidence show right away. Everything was done so smoothly and painlessly. What meant the most to me is how understood I felt. I've spent almost 23 years feeling insecure about my smile for what I always thought were "silly" reasons... and he completely changed that for me. I show my smile without holding back now. Also, Kim his assistant was so encouraging the entire time and really helped calm my nerves, especially knowing my past experiences. She spoke confidence into me the whole time during the procedure, and I couldn't thank her enough. Now,... let's talk about the office?? It's BEAUTIFUL. It doesn't even have that typical "dentist smell"... (If you know what I mean) Honestly... 1000/10. I'm so beyond happy I found this place. I will never be switching dentists again. This was a bit frustrating as this was new to me. I have never had an exam like the one done here. I had 20 x rays!! The most I ever had before was 8. Then we did the TV camera thing where they show you everything that is wrong with your teeth. It is hard not to believe the problems when you see them in living color on the TV screen. So I was given a 4 part treatment plan. I think I finished the second one and have two more to go. What separates this practice from all others is the staff. They have the normal dental hygienist to a super hygienist. Who took all the impressions I need for my crown then fitted me with my temporary crown. She did an exceptional job of making sure the crown was perfect. The office staff has always been very pleasant to me and always a smile and hello when I walk in. And after the visit a follow up phone call to see if everything is doing well!!!! That is what makes this 5 stars they seem to care.

Previous to the appt., I sent them my x-rays from August, but of course, they needed to take more. He suggested I get it done before the end of the year, but he had no availability to extract the tooth. The x-rays and consult was $190. He recommended Dr. Moe, an oral surgeon to extract the tooth. They scheduled an appt. for me today and Dr. Moe's office called me yesterday. They said they will need to take x-rays, as the ones they received from Dr. Makram's office weren't good enough (seeing a theme here) and they might need to do a "360?" x-ray? Dr. Moe's office said they will need to charge me another $210 for a consultation and x-rays and I will have to come back for the extraction. I really question the integrity and ethics going on here of both offices. Every x-ray isn't good enough.
