Rather than taking accountability or offering an apology, they deflected and gaslit the situation--doing so privately to avoid public transparency. Message is posted. I used to really like this dentist's office, but after today, I'm feeling so disappointed. Catherine called to change my son's appointment time, but I wasn't able to take the new slot. I explained that I have a brain injury and a full schedule with my own medical appointments, plus times when I can't drive or be in traffic because it's just too much for me. I asked if she could check with the doctor to see if there was any flexibility, since my availability is so limited, and rescheduling would push us out another 2-3 months. She simply said she couldn't help, and when I let her know I'd have to find a new dentist if that was the case, she said okay without a second thought. The lack of compassion and understanding for medical limitations was honestly so disheartening. It's frustrating when people don't take the time to truly listen or try to accommodate circumstances outside of the norm.

I love how good the office smelled and how clean it was. Not to mention, the play area for the kids in the waiting area looked like so much fun! Dr. Yarber and her staff took such wonderful care of my son! I am beyond pleased and he was incredibly comfortable, it being his first dental appointment. Everyone was so informative, thorough and kind. We look forward to coming back and bringing his little sister when her teeth come in as well!!

I absolutely loved the minimal yet age-appropriate décor, it wasn't overwhelming at all. There was such a calm, peaceful feeling in the lobby... almost like a little day spa designed just for kids! The staff was incredibly friendly, and Dr. Grant was especially warm and kind. She took the time to educate my kids on proper brushing techniques and explained why certain routines are important. I really appreciated her approach, she wasn't demanding or unrealistic. She understands that kids don't always brush perfectly and encouraged them to improve little by little, which felt supportive and empowering rather than intimidating. We left feeling informed, encouraged, and actually excited about taking better care of our teeth. Highly recommend!

The staff were so welcoming and patient with my son. They made him feel comfortable while remaining professional and detailed in their work. Dr. Grant is very polite and explained everything well to me of what to expect during the visit and recommendations for at-home care. I am so happy I found this gem, I wish I could be a patient, too! (Lol) Safe to say my son won't be afraid for future dental appointments like one expects children to be. Definitely found the one

I've had two experiences with this Sola location, starting with my daughter who had lost a filling…read morein one of her teeth. The tooth had become infected causing a small abcess on her gums. I brought her in for an appt (3/2026), Sola confirmed the infection and the tooth was ultimately extracted, which was pretty much the only option, as the infection had done irreversible damage. This was a baby tooth so it was not an issue. The entire staff were great during this procedure and painlessly removed the tooth which was awesome. Following the extraction, we were lead to another area within the office to have a spacer put into the empty spot, intended to hold that space until the permanent tooth grew in. The Dr and assistants were unsuccessful in locating the correct sized spacer and ultimately made another appt for us to come back to have the work completed. The next visit, once in the chair, we're informed that a spacer wasn't even necessary. Although initially a little annoyed for the "wasted" trip, the Dr did take time to explain her reasoning which made sense. Problem solved! The next experience was for myself (6/11/26): after biting down on a popcorn kernel, I had extreme pain and sensitivity so thinking I had cracked the filling/tooth, I made appt for emergency exam. Per the x-rays, they informed me that the filling was still in place and the tooth was not cracked. Later that same night, a small piece of the tooth in question broke off, which to me confirms that the tooth WAS in fact cracked, smh. Maybe it was so small that it didn't show up. Either way, the regional mgr, Marisol, actually took the time to follow up with me to discuss getting me back in ASAP to find a solution for the broken tooth so that it wouldn't lead to any further damage. I really appreciate the fact that she was truly concerned with my overall dental health and went above and beyond, not just for the sake of Sola, but to put my frustrations at ease and ultimately find a solution. This is the only company that I've ever dealt with that took time to reply to a review with a real human response (as opposed to the generic, robotic ones) then followed up via phone for feedback on my experience. With all the difficult things I'm currently navigating through, this interaction and genuine concern was really refreshing and made my day. Thank you, Sola Dental and Marisol for demonstrating such care.

We love Westchester Pediatric Dentistry! We've had 5 or 6 regular visits here (cleaning and exam)…read more I had a horrible dentist experience as a kid and it made me afraid of dentists my whole life. I wanted to make sure the same didn't happen to my kid. At Westchester, they're so patient, understanding, and gentle. The first 1 or 2 times they tried the electric tooth brush/polisher but my kiddo really couldn't handle it so they switched to a regular toothbrush. They assured me he'd get used to it as he came to more visits. And he has. We just had our best visit yet. Kiddo let the hygienist do everything! He got a little freaked out by the suctiontool but she let him hold it and ease into it and he was fine. The waiting room has toys and books and I've never struggled to get an appointment at a convenient time. All their rooms are clean and bright. Great views from the 7th floor windows. Parking is easy in the lot that's inside the building, but not free (you pay $2/30 mins so it's not awful). EDIT: 6 months later and we still love Westchester Pediatric!

With a kid on the spectrum-I can't tell you how important that js. I was told by a number of pediatric dentists they wouldn't treat my son unless he was sedated-and since he has enlarged tonsils-he's not medically cleared for in office sedation (so you can see our conundrum here). Thankfully we were not turned away from Dr Deepa who allowed us to help during his procedure to hold my son's arms while she was able to perform some miracles. No other dentist would help us-but she did. Otherwise he would've been in pain waiting for a surgery center spot (which costs over $5k). You'd think our son was done with dentists offices from here on out-but he is now comfortable with Dr Deepa and doesn't even need help getting into his chairs for examinations. On some level he knows she's helped him get out of his pain. I'm thankful for the staff's ability to help handle these 'out of the box' situations and is why there is only one place for us.
