I had a bad experience before I even got to make an appointment. I tried to get a hold of them for 4 days. The 5th day they called and asked what I needed done then put me on hold for 7 min. When they got back on they asked who I was again and I told them. Then they said sorry but we don't have anything until July 2nd. I said I was referred to you by my regular dentist because of the urgency of my tooth needing to be pulled. They said sorry but that's all we can do. Great clinic! Here I do canals on as many as 10 teeth + crowns. Dr. Kulwant Verraich (and all the staff) are very friendly and polite. I did not feel any discomfort during the treatment. Once there was slight swelling a few days after treatment, so the doctor specially came from home and opened the clinic on a day off to help. By the way, the prices are also very good. When I arrived I had NO tooth pain.After getting a basic in and out filling ,tooth would not stop hurting. went to a different dentis, tooth requires a root canal and crow. now my insurance is all used up this year and I'll have to deal with a painfully tooth untill next year. Have you heard of a fear of the dentist? Imagine a deep seeded fear rooted in past terrible experience. Of a root canal gone bad. Well FEAR NOT. After 8 years of not visiting a dentist... I finally made my appointment. This office accepts a variety of insurances, although if you're not covered, they do offer payment options as well. The wait was a bit long, but the front desk girl was super nice and accommodating. My dental assistant was the most kind hearted and understanding person when Xraying, so when I sat down on my chair, I felt safe. The room I got treated in had a BRIGHT, open, and beautiful window view of the city. Instead of crying in agony, I blissfully stared at the sunset. The process all in all took approximately 1.5 hours. From checking in, X-ray, to walking out the door. Doctor completed the procedure of 5 extractions- 4 wisdom and one other impacted molar in 40 minutes (very impressive). Thanks so much I'll be back for more procedures in the future. My whole experience was crap. I had to wait two months to get in . And day of the appointment I show up at 8:45 for 9:00 appointment. They take my name and have me take a sit, to then call me up and tell me that they have canceled my appointment. That they have called me a few times to confirm. Well they never called me and took up themselves to cancel my appointment. And tell me to take hang out to see if the 9:00 shows up that they gave to someone else. Of course they showed up just like I did for my appointment. Now they tell me they will call me by 11:00 to get in before noon. And of course no call from them. I will never go back. I had two root canals and one extraction of a broken molar tooth. First off, there were no blinds on the sunny windows (not a big deal), but there was a TV showing the news. No big deal. The dentist might have well got a running start to jam the needle 8-10 times in my flesh. I've never had a dentist not give AF like this dentist. The needle came fast without a care. I took the pain bc I'm a man, but wholly crap did it hurt. Next came the drill bits on my teeth. As anyone who has drilled a hole into anything, they know to go slow at first to start the hole as a guide. Not this dentist. He was ramming it home right from the start, which made the drill bit bounce across my good teeth as the bit didn't yet have a guide hole. Then he checked his cell phone with his gloved hand. Yeah! He checked his phone and then back to my mouth. He listened to the TV on the Israel war and spoke to me about it. Yeah, the TV was his focus. After he was done with the root canal, his Ukrainian assistant watched the TV while filing my root canal with those small file sticks. I watched her watch the TV over her shoulder while filing my root canal. She was watching the TV instead of my teeth just like the dentist did. After that, it was time for my extraction of roots from my broken tooth. He tugged and yanked my head very aggressively until he was finished. After that, she took an xray to ensure it was correct, but it wasn't. She called him back in as there was one root left. He came back in from another patient (not sure if he changed gloves) and finished the job. Or so I thought. 7 weeks later, after the healing, I go to my regular dentist to finish cleaning. I still had a root poking out of my gums. Thankfully, she was able to pull it and bypass that butcher. I will never step foot in his dental office again. I'm very used to dentists as I had braces in high school and can take anything a dentist has to give, but this butcher was on a next level. And he didn't extract my roots properly. I now question if his root canal was done properly. Never ever will I see him again. I'm 53 and have seen my fair share of dentists. This guy was a butcher. Avoid him at all costs. I would suggest having a trusted friend bust out your bad teeth with a hammer and punch before recommending this dentist. Not joking. read more

Dr. Verraich and the staff at Dental Specialty Clinic are top notch! I've been a patient here for over two years. I've had a couple of root canal treatments as well as a couple of crown replacements. Plus I've had a number of teeth cleanings. Dr. Verratics does excellent work. He works quickly and the crowns have always fit nicely. He is also a very friendly person. I just had my first cleaning here. I really had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this dentistry. The doctor is wonderful, very calming and gentle. I felt that the dental hygienist wasn't as thorough as ones that I've had in the past, but this isn't a complaint because frankly I've felt that sometimes they're too thorough and it takes forever. I liked that she was efficient and my teeth still looked and felt great. She was also very patient with X-rays as I have a bad gag reflux. All in all I definitely recommend this place! Ill never go back! Paid $2,000 for temporary dentures that didn't fit he had to use a grinder on them and wanted me back next day but office people would let me they made me wait a week and then dentist gave some mouth wash and told me to come back in 2 weeks then he tells me that they don't fit and that he needs to send them off! I was like um what I paid the money so I wouldn't go with out and u just took money and gave me whatever u could find in storage closet or something! 100% doesn't care about people only the money they get. The office lady told me to pay half on first visit and rest when I went for impressions so I did but they charged me for doing it that way when I could have just paid all at once! I was referred here for my wisdom teeth and one other extraction, I have bad dental anxiety so I was nervous that I couldn't have anesthesia! DSC did a great job with my root canal. He was the third endodontist to attempt it. The first two attempts by other endodontists were very painful, and they both fully missed a canal which led to an infection. I explained to Dr. Verraich that I have a history of not fully numbing up which results in mid-procedure pain. He was considerate of my concerns and re-assured me that wouldn't be a problem here. And, he was true to his word. This was the first time in my life I had a painless procedure done. He cleaned up the old root canal, found a canal which the other two endodontists missed, and informed me that one of the other canals wasn't completely filled. He also saved my crown from having to be replaced, too! If I didn't already have a regular dentist who I've been happy with, I'd switch over to DSC and Dr. Verraich. He did great, and the staff is friendly, too. read more

I'm rating as one star about this clinic since I was advised with an inappropriate method to stop my bleeding after I was extracted my upper right wisdom tooth on October, 2015. After checking-in by the emotion-less and most cold hearted receptionist that day, my wisdom tooth was extracted by Dr. Kuwant smoothly. Thing was going just fine until that point. After the procedure, my blood kept running like it was running water from a faucet. I rushed to the bathroom to stop bleeding but it kept running so I rushed to one of the dental assistant girl to stop my bleeding. The next thing she kept advising me was unbelievable. "Drink your blood. Just keep swallowing." I doubted my ears but since I guess I was just clueless enough to follow that advice, I ended up having a severe stomach pain and I lost a lot of my blood throughout the day to the point I rushed to my dentist to inhale oxygen from his gas device for about an hour. I could have sued this clinic by giving a patient an awful way to stop the blood. After I went back to the clinic to tell this whole story, Dr. Kuwant and the receptionist didn't take me seriously. I could not come to work for about a week since my body was weakened by loosing so much blood. And yes, the same assistant again kept telling me that it was a right method to stop my blood by drinking it. Not recommending this clinic! read more

The staff here is better than I could have imagined. I drove nearly two hours to this office because of the service I received. The first visit was mandatory via Army reserve. Afterwards, I chose to continue care because of the patience of the team. The doctor is also very knowledgeable and comfortable in his work. I am very surprised to find there are no reviews for this amazing doctor. I was in such pain and he was so caring and gentle. I needed a root canal... Never having one before and close to 50, I was so scared. He was so careful to make certain that I was comfortable through the procedure and very efficient. He was done in less than an hour. Honestly, I was really nervous about not having anesthesia but Dr. and his dental assistants assured me that there would be no pain. They were right! I got my wisdom teeth extracted a little over a week ago and I'm healing very well. The procedure was quick, completely painless, and very considerate with frequent check-ins about my comfort. This place is amazing. Just got 4 wisdom teeth extracted last week and I was so nervous. Everyone in the office and the dr put me right at ease always making sure I was comfortable. I was more than pleased to pay the hundred bucks for the nitrous it was well worth it. I will be back for sure. Unfortunately they said they aren't allowed to call in the prescriptions afterwards because they are narcos and I ended up in a fever of horrid pain while waiting on my pharmacy to fill so I'd suggest finding the closest pharmacy to this place so your numbing doesn't wear off before getting the pain relievers! I am probably the worst dental patient, ever. I cry, I shake. This was the best experience I've ever had at a dental office.
