My daughter was a recent patient of Dr, Nappoli, Dental World Levittown. WAS being the key word. I can not stress enough how unprofessional, temperamental and rude this Dentist is. During one of the visits this dentist proceeded to throw a full on temper tantrum SCREAMING about another dentist in practice DR Pierce ( don't know him, never heard of him) apparently, he broke her suction or a tool, and this woman starts all out tantrum. Screaming how DR PIERCE IS TO NEVER USE HER ROOM AGAIN-what if this happened while she was working ona patient-. Please keep in mind this Dr. is screaming , full on temper tantrum to the front desk.. these poor women were being verbally abused for something they had nothing to do with. That should warn anyone, this is how this DR treats the people who work there, and sadly treats her patients worse. This grown adult proceeded to behave like this while my daughter was in her cahir- Well, after her temper tantrum Dr Napoli filled a cavity, it was a deep cavity. Our concern was daughter living on campus about an hour away at college, what happens if it gets worse. The answer is NOTHING. Two nights later I get the call from daughter, she is crying, first toothache ever. I called Dr. Napoli, no night service, no answer. I get throgh to office at 8 am - This dentist knew filling a deep cavity would most likely mean next step if any pain was a root canal, and she took 3 hours to return call and when she did i was told come now... I explained it would take me a while , have to go and get her and bring her to you- I had told this to her already and to staff.. NO ! this Dr. said no, now or nothing, she was fine with leaving someone in pain. NO- Nothing she could do-- I offered to come in just wait , last patient. squeeze my daughter in- NO! It has been 4 days since this event and this DR never called, never found out if she had the pain taken care of, never called to see if she was okay. Dr. Napoli literally could not care about another human if she tried. I truly feel sorry for the people who are forced to deal with her. Absolute nightmare of a Dr. and person. STAY AWAY!!. This business only cares about money. Dr. Napoli specifically only cares about money. They recommend procedures based off of your insurance and not what you ACTUALLY NEED. They should have a malpractice lawsuit at this point. I'm surprised they don't. I have personally lost teeth waiting for this office to give me an appointment or "verify my insurance". They suggested my 16 year old child have his front teeth ROOT Canaled and I did the procedure out of fear to find out he didn't really need it. Additionally, they refused to work on the crown prep for my child because they wanted me to give them $100. Their practices are shady , unethical and most likely illegal. read more

The dentist, oral surgeon, and the dental assistants were good. But they do not have a back up for the one and only oral surgeon if he is out if a patient develops complication such as a tiny piece of tooth fragment being left behind, or an infection, for example, which was what happened to me. Not only do I have to deal with the complications, I had to deal with the last minute cancellation (5 hours before my appointment), and the yelling of uncaring, unsympathetic office staff whose defense was, "Mam, mam, mam, are you telling me that nobody gave you antibiotic for the infection all this time?" I deeply regret ignoring the abysmal reviews on the internet and the comments from my co- workers who had first hand experience of how poorly this dental office is being managed. read more

Dr. Napoli lied and said my son had several deep cavities, rotten teeth and needed 7 crowns. I didn't believe this especially when he had no issues with his teeth. We left and went to Dental 365, they tooth very modern X-rays which came out clear pictures. My son only had one deep cavity and one regular cavity. Dr. Nespoli was going to do all kinds of serious drilling and unnecessary crowns just to scam us. DO NOT TRUST DENTAL WORLD. read more

Don't come here! Office is dirty...very small...rooms have no privacy and no doors. Your basically out in the hallway so anyone walking by can see you getting dental work. As a new patient, I was waiting over an hour in a dental chair to be seen. No one explained the long wait or even came to check on me. The office is old, outdated. This office is terrible! New management every few months. Spoke with a woman named Nancy ( working there two weeks) told me if I don't like it find someone else. After the office neglected to process insurance paperwork or return calls for months. I don't think a newly hired receptionist should be sending people on there way. Very unprofessional office with even worse dentists - other than the blonde hygienist who is personable & gentle in her approach to cleaning & Dr Brian, who seems to be the only competent dentist there (from who I've dealt with), there is nothing else good about this establishment. This review is belated but what I've encountered here since the summer of 2020 is just worthy of this review. I've been coming here as a patient since the end of 2016 or beginning of 2017. While this office has never been great, it's been tolerable until covid/summer of 2020. I had a Saturday appt with Dr Ravi at 8 am. I showed up at 7:55 am to 2 female employees (1 possibly being the office manager) just going back & forth with each other, loudly complaining. Guess what I was told? Dr Ravi didn't start until 9 am... then how was I scheduled for 8 am?! When I expressed my rightful annoyance & dissatisfaction that now I had to sit there & wait (what was the point of going home?), the 1 who I think is the office manager, actually yelled at me that it wasn't her fault. Never said it was her fault, but it was this encounter that made me later believe I should've left dental world for their ineptness. 12/14/20, I had a root canal at a separate office (because dental world doesn't do root canals) & had to come back to dental world bc the temporary cap fell out. While I was tilted back in the chair, Dr Ravi somehow dropped the temporary cap in my mouth & because I was tilted back in the chair, it went straight to the back of my throat. I was coughing & literally choking. I couldn't get it out of my throat so I had no choice but to swallow it. I was embarrassed but it was Dr Ravi who should've been embarrassed, she choked me & didn't even so much as apologize. I refused to see her again after this. I had a sore throat after this & while I never liked the dentist, because of this, I now have a fear of the dentist that I'll be choked again. People told me I should've sued Dr Ravi/dental world for this. Too bad I didn't. At some point after that choking visit, I was told Dr Ravi left the office (I hope she went back to dental school, good riddance!) so I made an appt with someone else for the exam. A very bundled up Asian woman, complete with a meshy hair net & meshy booties came in the room & rapid spoke, "usually you see Dr Brian, are you ok to see me? I won't be offended if you want to see him". By the way she spoke, I assumed I had seen her before but never once did she introduce herself during this visit. I asked when I left this weird visit of who that was & I was told it was Dr Kern. A cracked filling fell out, so I made an appt & it was with Dr Kern on 12/2/22. I knew making an appt with her was a mistake but I didn't want to wait for Dr Brian. Dr Kern, again bundled up, wearing 2 face masks & a plastic shield, I told her my Invisalign treatment was done & I came in with my week old retainer I was supposed to wear at night. She asked where it came from (does that matter?) & she stated how, "it won't fit". Her saying that indicted to me she was going to do something. She did nothing. In fact, she insulted me by saying where the filling was, the tooth has decay & "it stinks". You can smell thru 2 face masks & a plastic shield? Impressive! I mentioned about the fillings that she did, how I had no issue until the fillings & ever since, I had hot/cold sensitivity. She said with a cavalier attitude, "my fillings were perfect. Your cavities were deep. See? DEEP!" & basically shoved my cart in my face to show me how she wrote "deep". I should've said to this woman, "listen, I could give a shit less what you wrote, I know what I feel in MY mouth". She left the room, telling me I should stick with Dr Brian. What kind of dentist lets a patient leave with a HOLE in their tooth?! As I stood in front of the woman who I think is the office manager, to make an appt with Dr Brian, 1 of the front desk girls (never seen her before, maybe she's new?), came up to the supposed OM & said how there was annoying (yes she used that word) female patient on the phone saying "she's in pain but doesn't want to come in", the supposed OM said, "well I guess she's not in pain then". UNPROFESSIONAL! That's how you speak in front of another patient? Wow. I saw Dr Brian the Wednesday after I saw Dr Kern. At least he had the decency to fill the hole in my tooth with a temporary & didn't let me leave with a hollow tooth like useless Dr Kern did. I said I wanted it noted in my chart that I never want to be booked with Dr Kern again... I would rather be seen by a stranger on the streets with a power drill. See attached picture. Show up for appointment and am told that there's no hygienist available and that they had called me. They did not call me, but instead called my emergency contact number which is a HIPPA violation. There is no sense of urgency at Dental World. Doctors are more likely to gather and hang out before taking patients. The level of professionalism here is unacceptable. Let me describe my two experiences: 1) As a new patient, I waited a half hour to get X-rays done. The technician was a friendly asian man that made the x-ray process go smoothly. However then I waited another half hour to het a cavity filled. All while a bunch of employees were walking around, hanging out, and having inappropriate conversations in my range of hearing. I heard two people (maybe, hygienists) discussing how one of them might lose their job. 2) My second experience was BAFFLING. I go to get a cleaning, wait an exorbitant amount of time and finally get in the chair. The hygienist was not very friendly and barely spoke to me. Was condescending about knowledge of dental health. Anyway, in the middle of my cleaning she left and a few minutes later I hear her and her colleagues singing "Happy Birthday!" to a fellow employee. SHE LEFT MY CLEANING TO SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Who does that? When she left, the toothbrush was dangling off the chair, about to hit the floor. This woman had no regard for timeliness of cleanliness. Only rating two stars because my dental work came out fine. But this place is a joke. I don't understand how anyone is okay with running a business like this. Go somewhere else. Would not recommend coming to this dentist. They gave me such a problem about my insurance when my insurance company said that they took it. I called 3 times to give them the reference number I had stating that I was assigned to this doctor. Since they were being difficult over the phone I then went to them in person. Finally, they saw that I was assigned to them and that they were wrong and they were very rude about it. I needed the soonest appointment they had which was 2 weeks later , then I get a call saying the doctor wont be in and that I need to reschedule. I then rescheduled for the following week, and I just got a call again saying that I needed to reschedule. I've been here in the past and should have known not to come back considering last time I had to get a referral for my root canal that I needed and I never got one and time passed. After we check in and waited 20 minutes plus , they took xrays, another 15 or 20 minutes before this RUDE Asian dentist woman walks in she kept asking the same questions over and over. the place is nasty, there's white residue around the mouth wash station, rust on the floor, damaged walls, brown stains on the walls. I am surprised on how is this place its even open for business. Completely clueless and has the nerves to ask me to come back another day for something she could've done that day that is why I made the appointment!!! Money hungry ! Probably the worst dentist office in the world, no exaggeration. I used to be a patient here years ago due to my insurance in network nonsense Anyway, anytime i tried to make an appointment it would always be for months later. And when you arrive at this location, nobody greets you. the receptionist sit on their phones and talk about their husbands or what they are having for lunch. the chairs are uncomfortable and im telling you it takes hours to get your name called. i understand that this is a doctors office but seriously waiting for practically 1.5 hours to be seen for a cleaning is ridiculous. there are always schedule mishaps for example i would make appointment for the works but when i come either the x-ray tech is not there or the hygienist isnt there, this becomes annoying after a while. Also the female doctor is very slow, she works with no urgency and i feel as though she not competent or basically qualified. I got a fill-in a few years ago and the thing never healed. every time i drink cold water i get the shakes. Meaning i cannot tolerate it. i feel as though she exposed the nerve too much and its basically over for me eating ice cream on that side of my mouth. Please stay away, if your insurance recommends this doctor to you, do yourself a favor and opt for another dentist. Avoid this place at all costs. It's the dirtiest medical office I've even been in. There's cracks in the walls, chipped paint, and the counter in front of the waiting room has several suspicious stains all over it. Dental World exists solely to bilk your insurance out of as much as they can. The office staff to several days to submit my claim, and then did it by mail, so I had to wait even longer. Contrary to some of the replies left on this Yelp site where everyone goes to complain- I've always had a great experience at Dental World. The women running the front desk have been helpful to me and always have been kind. (I am a firm believer that you get back the energy you put out- smile and people will most likely smile back). Dr. Kergn (sorry about spelling) has been my dentist for years and I find her professional and interesting to talk to. Hands down, the most abysmally rotten experience I've had at a dentist, three times over. It gets worse each time, and I haven't even had a root canal or oral surgery. Just simple check-ups and cleaning procedures. I can't wait until my Healthplex term is finished to get out of this sh*thole! To avoid the redundancy of what other folks already stated, I'll spare the long drawn out stories of being bounced from one room to another, asked to sit in a different dentist's chair each time, only to wait nearly a half hour in each room before you are acknowledged by the respective "specialist" you are supposed to consult. I will, however, indulge in other aspects of my experience. The level of professionalism is akin to being in a warehouse with surly black market doctors who could give a sh*t less if you live or die. My first visit to this barn in August of 2014 is still engrained from the moment I came face to face with Dr. Keung or Kern or whatever her name is, the lousy b*tch. After over an hour wait, I asked her why such a long wait and her response was, "We take every insurance under the Sun here, why did you come here anyway?" To which my response was, "Out of convenience, it's close to home, but this is crazy." She concluded our upbeat patient/dentist interaction with, "Well, this is how it is here. If you don't like it, I don't know what to tell you." With that, I was on my way with one of the worst tastes in my mouth ever. Pun intentional. Treated like a second class citizen with a blower's cramp like I just deep-throated a donkey. Fast forward: Approximately one year later. I need a cleaning. Simple enough. I'll get what I need and be on my way until my Healthplex term expires. It took me a month to get an appointment at this dental pantheon of which I'm probably not worthy. None of us are. You smell that? Sarcasm and straight bullsh*t! Today I go in there for a cleaning and they insist on x-rays once again. Fine. I suspect they're milking the tit for whatever it's worth, but that's not here nor there. I'm no expert in the field of Dentistry, as Dr. Keung so eloquently put it to me a little later, in her very own naturally unpolished, unprofessional poise. Yet again, I'm left in a dentist's chair to damn near decompose with rigor mortis. Just when I snap out of a boredom induced coma to wipe drool from my mouth, I think "to hell with this sh*t," and am about to walk out of that god-forsaken office and move onward with my life, when Dr. Keung turns the corner and is on her way down the hall toward me. I fall back into the dreadful chair. She utters a half-assed apology this time around. Could this be real? Did I catch second hand contact from the laughing gas? I still think I was probably hallucinating from an extended length of time in solitary confinement. I digress, as she examines me and reviews my x-rays which are in her opinion monstrous, riddled with cavities, she also runs down a laundry list of future appointments I'll have to schedule at this office before I leave. Apparently, I've done just about everything wrong in regards to dental hygiene until I arrived at Dental World and now I need four cavities drilled in two separate sessions (milk the tit), as well as an appointment with the periodontist (keep on milking). I basically got an "F" at brushing my teeth, which I know to be complete horse sh*t. Mind you, this dialogue is taking place shortly AFTER my cleaning by the hygienist. Never mind the fact that I've always taken my dental hygiene seriously, floss regularly and have received compliments from prior dentists and friends alike. I realize I'm susceptible to any of these natural occurring dental ailments. I'll just be damned if I correct them at this facility, using the word loosely. To put it simply: I don't trust Dr. Keung on her word. When I ask Dr. Keung, out of curiosity and in an effort to understand this sudden juncture where my dentistry has deteriorated to such a foul degree, how exactly she's determining where these cavities are by looking at my x-rays, her response is a snide yet stoic and matter-of-factly, "Because I went to school." With that, my mind went blank with silent rage right where I sat and I don't remember much else until I was once again in my car. I walked out of there for the last time, ignoring to schedule all the follow-up appointments she advised. Never again. Dr. Keung comes across extremely condescending and disrespectful in a flat-out insulting manner. She has a comparable air about her and regard for her patient as that of Dr. Mengele circa 1942. I don't know what has made her think that her behavior and commentary is acceptable in today's world. I'm the least sensitive and last P.C. advocate you'll ever find, but there's just right and wrong. Once I called for an emergency & they offered an appt a week away. Like the other dental world, they won't do procedures until your 2nd visit so nothings done quickly. I had a long term problem with a painful tooth and the oriental Doctor was always very rude and abrupt when speaking to me about my health and what would be the next step. My only complaint is that they call you in early but make you wait in a room for 20 minutes with nobody with you. Stay FAR AWAY from this place The dentists are never in the office. I made an appointment for a cleaning, x-rays, and an exam but I was only able to take x-rays and do the cleaning. I had to come back the next week for an exam because there was no dentist there to do an exam. Dr. Kern did my exam and according to her I had to get 5 teeth pulled, 1 tooth implant, 4 root canals, and three cavaties. She left me with numerous appointments I needed to make so that I could keep coming back. Complete scam, they are trying to steal your money. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and there was nothing wrong with my teeth. Dr. Kern will make up things that are wrong with your teeth so that you can keep going back and she can keep taking your money. There is not one qualified dentist in this office. I have read the other reviews and I completely disagree. Dr Cassis and Dr Morcos are great. They have fixed other dentists mistakes and have looked for my best interest. I have gone here for years. Defiantly the worst dentist office, no one there seem to know what they're doing, I wanted a white filling instead of silver, they told me that insurance doesn't pay for white so when I told them to just adjust the price with what the insurance would pay for silver filling they looked at me crossed eyed, all 4 of them, they told me it would be 250$ after 20 minutes, literally of me trying to explain to them that it's not making sense insurance will pay for most of it just not the white filling, I finally walked out called my insurance co who called the dentist to find out what's up and also told me in her 18 yrs in insurance never ran across a office like that, they've been over charging everyone who got the white filing and lord knows what else, they've been getting paid twice, and hand to god at one point the girl who was sitting there the whole time watching the exchange going on looked at me and said hi! Dentists are notorious for charging you for problems you don't quite - almost but not really - you really don't have. The Dental World dentists are no exception. They have a nice friendly staff and their dentists not only get the job done but end up doing more than you asked for. I could tell you about how my "weakness" was called a cavity that turned into a root canal...but chances are, if you have been here, you have a similar story. read more
