I went saw Dr. Richardson at 365 Dental for a toothache. After discussing my options, it was decided to pull the tooth. My experience: 1. He did not allow the Novocain to take affect. He pulled the tooth anyway. 2. The tooth was gone, but I had pain. I went back and asked for antibiotics. 3. The tooth continue to hurt. I was basically told there was not much they could do. 4. My neighbor was also a patient there. She mentioned me and about the pain I was dealing with. The audacity of the admin staff to discuss my situation with her. HIPAA?? I went to another dentist in the neighborhood. He sent me over to an oral surgeon. They had to drain the area and scrape it. I received more antibiotics. The pain was gone. Dr. Richardson was the worst dentist I have ever been to. I just found out that he left 365 Dental. I just hope he uses the Novocain like a dentist should. read more

So I came when this place first opened about a year ago maybe. I got a cleaning off a special they were running and paid out of pocket. I love going to dentist and love getting my teeth cleaned. So when my teeth cleaning was done in ten minutes I knew something wasn't right. The dentist didn't even clean my retainer on my bottom teeth?! Wtf? Complete half ass job. Why did I wait so long to review? I wasn't going to becauSe I don't like leaving bad reviews but today I just left a dentist office and my teeth feel amazing and my cleaning took 30-45 minutes!!! Like it should be. And having such a well done cleaning today it further enraged me of the poor poor job this dentist had done and should be ashamed. I've been here 3 times for cleanings and my experiences have been nothing but great. The office is very clean and has new technology. I usually hate going to the dentist but here they make me feel comfortable and let me know what they'll be doing before they do it. They also take the time to explain things to you if you have questions. I moved to Jersey City and still drive out to the Bronx to come here because I don't want to risk going somewhere else. read more

This place is great. Dr. Mills, Barbara the hygienist and all the staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. The hygienist takes pride in her work and does an excellent job of thoroughly cleaning the teeth. My husband and I had appointment and we were impressed with the service. My kids 10year old and an 8 year old were also seen on another day and were taken care of in the same professional manner. In their opinion they liked it, felt comfortable and knew from previous experiences that they really received a great cleaning. Another great part after filling out paperwork--appointments were honored. This is a big one because my old dentist would overbook and not honor appointments. Place is tastefully decorated in contemporary color scheme, it is clean and inviting. Since it's location is at the mall parking is ample. read more

Do not go here. Before I ever made an appointment, I called to ask if they would take my insurance. They took a week or so to get back to me and informed me that yes, they accepted my insurance. A month after having one basic appointment (cleaning/check up), they tell me that they do not accept my insurance and it wasn't covered. I thought the office was beautiful and the staff were fine. They made me feel comfortable. But I would never have made an appointment if I knew they didn't accept my insurance. It was irresponsible of them to go forward with the appointment if I wasn't covered and without informing me. read more

Not pleased with this office and staff. I made an 6 month appointment and I spoke to Felicia the manger to cancel my appointment and she never cancelled it. I received a collection notice for not canceling my appointment. The hygienist are always pushing patients to purchase products that are not necessary. read more

I have been coming here for years and I am disappointed on the outcome. First, I want to say that Dr.Mills is an excellent dentist. It is true that her staff is very friend and professional,however they are very disorganized when it comes to billing and insurance claims. I was told my one of their staff members that they do not bill your health insurance until they received payment from your pretreatment agreement. I had to send various emails, spoke to several employees who all said different things about submitting claims to insurances. I need a new bridge and when I went in January of 2021, the office manager who i am aware is not really the office manager as it is a gentleman named Immanuel told me they submitted a claim for my bridge and for me to wait for my insurance to mail me what i am supposed to pay. I had a follow up visit in person after that and the office manager told me a claim was still pending a almost a month later. I called my insurance in February a week ago and was told they have not received any claims for any new bridges needed and now i am stuck with a cracked tooth and no claim. I did not even bother to call them as i did their job last time for a extraction I needed . Melissa is an excellent dental hygienist. She is kind, professional, and explains everything to you step by step. It's a shame that they are disorganized. I have referred several relatives to them and now i am retracting my statement to go there. If you do have insurance make sure the billings department actually submits claims or else you are screwed. read more

Dr. Suri was magnificent as well as her assistant, (I believe her name was Cynthia) and the wonderful lady at the front desk. I was very nervous, and they made me feel relaxed. Was scheduled for a 10am appointment, showed up before my time to fill out any new forms given that I was a new patient. When I arrived at the office, the doors were closed. Giving the benefit of the doubt, I sat in my car and waited. And waited. And waited some more. Called the office's number and nothing. I sat out in front of this dental office for over an hour while it remained closed. The upsetting part is, I spoke to someone the day before to confirm the appointment and to discuss the reason for the visit. The time now is 11:30, and I have yet to even receive a courtesy call or anything to reschedule today's appointment. Not quite sure I would recommend this office after this lack of professionalism. read more

My husband and I decided to try this new dentist. The all female staff was only interested in dealing with my husband. The dental assistant was dismissive and seem to get angry when I asked questions while she was in my mouth, the dentist only came into the examining room after my cleaning was done to try and get me a pay for teeth whitening and when we made the appointment to come back for a deep cleaning I told the young lady at the front desk I could not come on a certain day but because my husband said he would come on that day she decided it wasn't important that I wanted a different appointment. On the day my husband was supposed to return I received a call stating that the doctor may not want to deal with my family because I didn't come in on a date that I told them I couldn't come in on. The female on the other end of the phone was again angry and seemed very dismissive so I told her no thank you we would get another dentist I will never go back to that place again it doesn't matter how much state of the art equipment they have if they don't have customer service these women are very catty. read more

The staff is very aggressive on pushing products that you don't really need. My teeth were perfect at every other dentist but here I was told I had an over bite and needed some $3,000 invisoline replacements. Then the staff gave me the wrong appointment and said "I will have to talk to the dentist to see if she wants to continue to see your family. Mind you my insurance was already charged $700+ before they even started to look at my mouth that has no cavities and are white from baking soda. Rude for no reason. read more

Though aesthetics are important- cleanliness of office and polite staff etc, etc, it is not as important as effective communication. PLEASE BE SURE TO ASK REPEATEDLY IF YOUR INSURANCE IS ACCEPTED FOR WHATEVER SERVICES YOU ARE HAVING PERFORMED. I was told when making my appointment and upon arriving at my appointment that my insurance was accepted. I wanted to have a tooth extracted and an implant performed. Every step of the way I was told my insurance was accepted UP UNTIL MY TOOTH WAS EXTRACTED. THEN IT WAS, THE PROVIDER THAT DID YOUR PROCEDURE IS NON PAR WITH YOUR INSURANCE. AS I SIT IN THE CHAIR WITH NO TOOTH IN MY MOUTH, I'm told of my $600+ bill that is due. Shocked is not the word!!!!!! Then it's don't worry, we're going to get authorization from your insurance carrier for the rest of the procedure... Fast forward 3 months and no auth was obtained AND UPON FURTHER QUESTIONING - MY INSURANCE WOULD STILL NOT BE BILLED BECAUSE THE PROVIDER THAT WOULD BE DOING THE PROCEDURE IS NOT PAR. All of this could have been told to me upfront!!!!! Now, I'm without a tooth, $600 and looking for another office. ASK, ASK AND ASK AGAIN! read more
