So the dentist takes x-rays, doesnt do anything else and tells me it will cost me out of pocket 50,000 dollars to fix my teeth...he said he would write up a plan which he never did, next the office calls me and tells me i owe this dentist 189.00 or they send it to collections.....what a scam, very deceptive and outrageous to tell me my insurance would cover the xrays, then tell me i need 50k worth of work or my teeth would fall out he tells me. I was so upset and disappointed. The dentist wouldnt even do a cleaning when i asked....xray only. I waited a good hour before they even took me on top of it. I will never go back to this place again....a real scam artist....he can write any response he wants but a crook is a crook and a nasty deceptive one at that.

After taking X-rays and examining my mouth, Dr. Schwartz found several other cavities. I appreciated the thorough examination. However, I explained very clearly that, due to my financial situation, I only wanted to address my two urgent problems: my broken crown and the tooth that was causing me pain. I planned to take care of the other issues later when I could afford them. Unfortunately, I felt that my wishes were not respected. The day I came in for my dental cleaning with Renata, who was absolutely wonderful and very kind, I wasn't sure whether I would feel well enough to begin dental treatment afterward. When I scheduled my cleaning, I had explained that I would decide that day depending on how I felt. However, I was told by the receptionist that if I didn't start treatment that same day, I would have to pay a significant portion of the fee again because my appointment couldn't be changed. I felt pressured into proceeding, even though I wasn't comfortable. The most upsetting part happened when Dr. Schwartz numbed a tooth that wasn't bothering me and prepared to begin treatment there instead of on the tooth that was actually causing me pain. I stopped him and asked, "Why are you working on this tooth? I specifically asked you to treat the painful tooth first." I had made my priorities very clear from the beginning, yet I felt they were ignored. Instead of listening to what I wanted and what I could afford, I felt the treatment plan was driven by what the office preferred rather than by my immediate needs. I left the office heartbroken, disappointed, and upset. My mouth was numb from the injection, and I could barely speak. More than anything, I felt unheard. Every patient deserves to have their concerns listened to and their treatment priorities respected, especially when financial limitations are clearly communicated. While I found the staff member Renata to be exceptional, my overall experience with Dr. Schwartz left me feeling that my wishes were not respected, and because of that, I cannot recommend him based on my personal experience.

Dr. Goodale's office was it from the moment I first spoke to the receptionist Jessica. She was friendly, patient and easy to understand, which is really saying something these days. When I got the the office and sat down with D for my x-rays, she was very comforting and communicative, laying out everything I needed to do and checking in with me throughout to make sure I was good. Then Dr. Goodale came in with great energy and an obvious desire to 1. explain everything extremely clearly and patiently and 2. make sure I was at ease and comfortable. She did my cleaning personally and took my request seriously for caution around certain sensitive areas. She even asked if I was cool with the music they had playing. And then to top if off she gave me the best cleaning I've ever had - my teeth are prone to staining so they were looking pretty rough after a year gap between my last dentist visit. I had even been told by previous hygienists they couldn't do much about the stains. Dr. Goodale got them so white my wife was actually shocked because she had forgotten I had normal teeth. Really can't recommend this place enough I just with that all healthcare providers treated their customers with such grace and empathy, not to mentioned good old fashioned skill at their profession. Doctor Caroline Hanna is the latest professional to provide for my dental health. Her guidance and advice have always taken a thoughtful and conservative approach. She describes what she sees, shows me images of the problem, explains the concerns about the condition, identifies options and suggests a course of action. In many medical situations, two doctors can see the same thing and come to different conclusions about the urgency to care for a condition. As humans, we all make decisions colored by our training and experience and medical professionals are no different in that respect. When scheduling, I made it very clear that I would need nitrous due to dental anxiety. After arriving, I waited over an hour past my appointment time, only to finally be told by the receptionist--without any empathy--that I couldn't have nitrous because they had "used the last of the oxygen." This is not a small oversight. For patients with anxiety, this kind of preparation and communication is essential. To wait that long, after traveling and arranging childcare for a newborn, only to be dismissed so casually is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. If you experience dental anxiety and rely on accommodations like nitrous, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
