Had to use this office because they are on my dental plan and close to where I live. The dentist, Dr. Ilan, claimed he doesn't do veeneers even though I had the piece that fell off, and told me he would fix the problem with a crown. The doctor is very rough and does not have any kind of bedside manner. He filed down the tooth in question and put a temporary crown in. The first time I went back to get my permanent crown, it didn't fit correctly so they ordered a new one. The second time I went back he knocked out another of my veneers when trying, roughly I might add, to remove the temporary crown. When this happened he left the room and left the explanation of what happened to his dental assistant and office manager to explain to me. He never apologized or even tried to comfort me. So when I got upset and questioned how he was going to fix this, I was told he would glue the veneer back in. So if this was the case that he could glue it back in, why didn't he do that to the first veneer I lost instead of charging me a $250.00 co pay for a crown. I had the piece that fell off, but was told he doesn't do veneers. I left the office without my crown, plus another tooth that has to be fixed by another dentist due to his incompetence. He was rude when I left because I told him he was a sh&&&y dentist. He rudely asked what made me an expert on dentistry so I told him my mouth and the fact that he messed up a tooth that wasn't mess up to begin with.

Dr. Bassin's wonderful office staff got in touch with me Monday morning and got me in for an…read moreemergency that I had had over the weekend. I had never been to his office, but my own dentist never returned my call. (That's twice, Dr. Lyu!!) Dr. Bassin moves quietly and confidently. He told me I would feel a pinch but I never felt a thing. I honestly could have fallen asleep while he was working on me because none of his movements were jarring or rough. I am appreciative that he got me in, thankful to interact with his lovely office manager, amazed at how painless it was, and grateful his prices are fair because I didn't have my insurance card. I found a wonderful new dentist who has earned my business.

I'm normally afraid of dentists because most of the ones I'd been to have been kind of rough and intimidating. She is very nice and honest. The office is in an apartment complex so you have to be very careful to only Park in one of the four visitor spots available as soon as you turn into the complex. They have signs posted everywhere letting you know spots are reserved and you'll be towed so be careful not to park in the wrong place!
