I went to this dentist for about a year. They continually tried to bill an insurance that we didn't have, in addition to the insurance we do have. I would get a letter from the other insurance company everytime I went there stating that I'm not insured. The dentist I originally chose was in my network, but they kept billing in a different dentist name that was out of my network! Raising my out of pocket costs. I am currently fighting a bill from 2016 that I paid. I have repeatedly called and sent copies of the credit card statement with the payment, in addition to the statement explaining what my insurance paid. I actually over paid and they owe me! The dentist's aren't bad, but the office staff is a mess. Get your books straight! read more

Great office! After going to another place that did my family wrong and then not going for a long time it was so refreshing to come here! They remember you and care for you. My husband got dentures here back in March. He was quoted a price of $338 for a full set of dentures. They agreed to upgrade to the next level, Premium, for no charge if he did a little promo video/recording for them. He agreed. The price would be $328 for a FULL set of dentures at the premium, not standard, level. He asked them to do a rush job for an additional $125 per arch. The total price was quoted at $578, including two arches and rush fees. He paid 1/2 of the total and they also billed his insurance provider. In July we received a bill for $714. When I called the office, Leslie told me there was a mistake and that we were due a refund of $278. I waited. In August I called back and Leslie told me that they were switching systems and that the paperwork was sitting on someone's desk waiting for the new system to finish it's upgrade. Three weeks later, I phoned again and this time Leslie told me that she didn't know what I was talking about and that we owed the $714. She reviewed the paperwork and said she would have to call back because there were to many notes written on the copy and she would need to get with whoever gave us the quote. She said she would call back in a couple of minutes. Guess what? No call. I called the next day and Leslie told me that she had handed the issue over to Cindy and Cindy would call me back that afternoon. Guess what? No call. I called back today and spoke with Cindy. She insisted that we had upgraded to elite at $660 per arch, that their was also a film charge of $68 that we owed. The insurance had paid $674 and we now owed them $220. She was looking at the exact same paperwork that I was, so she said, but refused to admit that it said we would get a full set of dentures, plus rush fees for $578. She finally decided that she did not want to listen to me read the paperwork to her one more time, so she said she would refer this to the office manager, Kathy, who was conveniently out of the office. From my point of view, they have committed insurance fraud and misrepresented their pricing. The dentures look great, but the service is reprehensible. read more

They insist on unnecessary treatments to make money. They practice "get-to-know-you" marketing and asks lots of personal questions (that's to see how you'll pay). Don't be gullible! Get a 2nd opinion, or do yourself a favor, go to another dental clinic. Staff here are marketing way too much, which means they Don't Care. read more

Day one was the worst! I went in the office to start my root canal. Dr Ross came in my room and didn't say one word to me. Not a hi, hello, or hey. He was focused on getting out of the office by 4pm. This is what the dr and assistant talked about the entire time. I initially thought to just say I can reschedule if needed, but I didn't and he proceeded with the process. I must admit I didn't feel any pain AFTER THE STICK FOR NUMBING. However, I had pain after the procedure. I returned to the office to have him take another look, only to get sent home without any pain meds... A day or so later I returned to get pain meds due to me still having excruciating pain. On top of all of that once my permanent was placed on I noticed it was NOT THE RIGHT COLOR ‍ I was so over it all I just never returned to the office for any additional work, not even to get the crown remake put in. I had an appointment for my daughter and I called in to tell one of the ladies there (Dara/Sarah) that I would be late and if it was fine that I continue to come, she told me to come. 10 mins before the time frame that I said that I would arrive, Dara/Sarah calls my cell and basically reschedules me. Ok, fine with that, but she does it in such a rude way, calling me another name and this is after correcting her 3 times and then she goes on angrily telling me a slot that I could take later that day, I begin to explain to her that I needed to be sure that a particular Dr. was going to be there to see my daughter. She wouldn't let me finish any of my sentences, just cut me completely off and she seemed extremely frustrated to the point that I was wondering if we were having the same conversation. She totally has issues, I told her that she was coming off rude to me. She didn't offer an apology at all, she just said,"Do you want the appointment or not?" I was speechless that her tone remained the same. I told her to forget rescheduling and that I didn't have a desire to come there at all! She heard that I am sure because she was no longer on the line, I wanted to just go up there and meet with them face to face after she hung up on me. I called back and spoke with the manager by the name of Cathy and told her what all had transpired, she listened but gave a response such as in total disbelief (you know how the story goes, not my little angels) I have "never" commented on Yelp; however, this experience is worthy of my time. Ripped off!!! Office manager (condescending) and non caring, Kathy, won't give her last name, threatened me with a collection agency without sending a bill!! They didn't send a pretreatment estimate to my insurance company either. Said that is my problem. By the wat, crown done and in pain 3 months later. Avoid!!! read more

Pros: Staff is friendly & kind. Dr. Thompson is very nice & pleasant. Office is clean. Cons: After 3+ years of no dental cleanings I finally manage to get insurance and make an appointment with Dental Cares specifically for a cleaning. After an hour & a half in the office where they managed to accomplish "assessing" my gums/teeth, taking lots of xrays (which were needed) and trying to sell me some rotating tooth brush (going so far as to make me watch a video about the toothbrush) I was then told I needed some special rooting & scaling cleaning which they didn't have time to do that day. I inquired if I could sign a paper that says I knowingly waive the time consuming cleaning for a normal one but they refused to let me do that & offered a polishing which is basically brushing my teeth. So I went to the dentist for an 1.5 hours and didn't get my teeth cleaned. AND they've used up my allotted, paid for visit so I can't go for another 6 months. I've never been to the dentist and not gotten any actual dental work done. read more

This dentist office is great. Most of the staff is friendly and I love Dr. Smith. Recently I encountered a bad experience which will keep me from returning. I was there because my cap fell off but I had it with me so it just had to be cemented back on. First issue, Dr. Hennessy whom I've never seen before came in and slid the cap on without cemented it. Second issue, They now have a head nurse that is the supervisor of the other nurses. She is the rudest person there. I asked her a question, she rolled her eyes and snatched my paper. Also, I had gotten an estimate at my previous visit. I had it with me at this visit. She was like "oh, you have your paper from last time!" She snatched that too. I asked her about giving me the paper back. She said, "don't worry I won't keep it". At this point I knew I would never return. I never saw the paper again so I just said forget about it since I won't be back. Then the head nurse said pull that cap off your tooth so I can get it cemented. I tried but couldn't get it to come off. She rolled her eyes again and said "I'll just do it!" (I thought it should be her job anyway). She still sent another nurse that she was training to do the work. Once again, I absolutely love Dr. Smith and regret that I won't be returning.
