After weeks of waiting, on Jan 6 the clinic finally stated that the dentist is not accepting new patients for long-term/extensive treatment and advised the patient to find a specialist. That's information that should be shared right away, not after a month. The patient lost time that could have been used to find another provider, and also incurred travel costs (hours on public transit). No accusations -- just a warning for others: if you need timely follow-up and clear commitment to treatment, confirm everything in writing early.
