The tooth cleaner here cleaned the hard tartar off my teeth. I realized that my country dentist, that I had since I was little, did not have his tooth cleaner removed enough tartar. I had my teeth cleaned at Dentists of Hanover three years ago. My teeth are so nice now!! My only regret is I have Masshealth and I wish I could go back. I don't have a full-time job, so I don't have dental insurance that is good. Every time I drive past Dentists of Hanover I think how clean my teeth are to this day!! They did a great job. Dr. Ibrahim isn't there anymore but he did a great job, too. They raise money for poor, international people who need their teeth done. I sure wish they'd consider accepting Masshealth. I can't get a full-time job at the moment. But as soon as I am able -- I shall return!! read more

Six years ago I had to get dentures. I went to see Dr. Mayani and I had all of my teeth pulled (on different days ) After I got the dentures, the bottom ones were a little loose and he put two metal screws in my bottom front gums telling me they would "hold the denture in place better". Well, they cost me three dollars thousand dollars out of pocket. And they're useless. I also have an underbite now. (Also, inappropriate and condescending to his staff.) read more

I dropped my 18 year old son off there with my debit card. Told the front desk that I did not want him to have an oral cancer screening, nor anything extra. When he got home, the total bill was well over $600. I contacted the dentist, who stated he only performed procedures that he would perform on himself. As a doctor, I advised him that he was a 40 something year-old man and that my son was a teenager and what he did bordered on malpractice, as he did not have the diagnoses, meaning the ICD 10 or CPT codes necessary, to justify the procedures he conducted. He agreed with me, apologized and advised he would return the $600. That was over four weeks ago and I've not seen anything, nor heard anything. I am beyond furious. I don't understand why this place has become a revolving door of front desk, staff, dental assistants, and dentists. Please do not trust this place. They're out for every single bottom dollar, and they will try to use your lack of medical knowledge to convince you to pay for extra services that are most certainly not needed, including an oral cancer screening for a teenager. read more

Absolutely atrocious practice - I went here and they told me I had two cavities. Lucky for me I was uninsured and unable to afford this multiple thousands of dollars worth of work. One year later I had never had any pain in my teeth and I visited a trusted dentist that many of my family members had seen. Turns out I had ZERO cavities!! Thank goodness I didn't return here and have unnecessary and potentially harmful dental work as well as waste my money! Just skip this one for sure!!! read more

I did not have a good experience with Dr. George E. Ibrahim with my crown and dental implant, which Dentists of Hanover specializes in. While working out of town in MA in May 2023 I ate a piece of sticky candy and my crown felt like it was sitting incorrectly on the post which worried me, so I went to Dentists of Hanover to see if they could help. The staff was super nice and polite and was able to see me same day so I went in. I explained I had no pain at all so they took multiple x-rays to be safe. Once I sat in the chair of Dr. Ibrahim things got weird. He easily removed the crown from my mouth, placed it on his tray and quickly stated there was no way to reattach the crown to my dental implant as there was no abutment present or ever installed. I asked a few questions because I'm not well versed in dental terminology and he further explained he had no idea how the crown was attached to the screw implant in my jaw. I asked how is that possible when the crown was attached when I walked in and he just removed it, including we are both looking at x-rays taken a few minutes ago clearly showing it was just attached. All he could do is schedule multiple appointments to perform a transosteal implant with a brand new crown for thousands of dollars (I received the dental codes with insurance quotes from their office to review), and he reassured me my perfectly looking crown could not be repurposed or reused. I politely asked for my crown, called my original dentist back home who stated all the information I just received sounds very strange so I immediately drove 1,000 miles to my original dentist who recemented the crown back on the ORIGINAL ABUTMENT that was STILL IN PLACE ALL ALONG for $70.00 in under an hour. It felt like I was placed in a situation to be taken advantage of so I seriously warn anyone who sits in a chair for Dr. E Ibrahim as I found him incompetent in practicing dentistry for over 12 years according to his team profile. I even explained the situation thoroughly to Kyle Thompson their office manager at Dentists of Hanover who was completely unfazed by my comments or concerns so that was alarming as well. You really take for granted going to great dentists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons for 40 years until something like this happens. read more

Dentists of Hanover is a great practice - the whole team is super friendly, caring and professional. Dr. Henriquez is very knowledgable, and gave honest and helpful advice. She was not pushy at all, and has your comfort and health in mind before anything else. She actually recommended simple, at home solutions for some issues, rather than trying to sell as unfortunately some dentists do. Emma was my hygentist, and she is very thorough, but also gentle and careful! Joanne and Carla were sweet and helpful as well. I had a great experience, it felt more like a day at the spa than a dental visit! In addition, they take great precautions with COVID still around - everyone was double-masked, and I could see the team actively cleaning the rooms. Everything is fresh and spotless. They are also very understanding of dental care during pregnancy - they took extra precautions, made sure to follow and explain any alternatives and made me feel very at ease! Absolutely recommend this team, I am looking forward to my next visit in 2021. read more

Great facility and great staff Only disappointment would be how they performed on my teeth. I had an abscess in the back molar. He had a difficult time pulling out the tooth. I had enough numbing agent that part was fine .. At one point he was struggling so he had his assistant try to get the tooth out. Felt like a scene from the three stooges when they pretended to be dentists. So after the tooth was abstracted. He gave me a few instructions and I was on my way. I had an appt the following week. The appointment was on a Tuesday so I had to wait 6 days for my appointment..during that time before the appointment my mouth was extremely painful. I thought it was from the procedure. I was not able to eat solid foods the only thing I could eat was protein shakes, bone broth, yogurt, pudding and jello. To describe my situation of my mouth pain I would say extreme pain on the side of the tooth that was taken out. I could not open my mouth that much. When I was able to eat my jello etc. the food felt like I was eating rocks or knives. Aweful. I did call the emergency number to reach the dentist to explain my pain but no phone call. When I did go for my post-op appt. If told the dentist what was going on. He checked my mouth and said that the incision was healing properly. The pain I was experiencing from the procedure. I did tell him all I could eat was liquid items. He showed no concern. So I was not able to eat solid food. On day 62 after losing 20 pounds and extremely hungry I went to another dentist. He told me oh you have bone fractions sometimes happens when you try to remove a tooth and it breaks in your gum area. So the new dentist removed most of them and prescribed a gum medication for the area that was bothering me. but 3 months after the first appointment I still have bone fractions So after you read this review it might seem like this could happen and the dentist didn't do any thing wrong and I should sue his practice. No I would not do that but my complaint is the dr never returned my emergency call, not caring about the bone fractions, and that I could not eat food. He shrugged me off like there was no issues. So this experiences was so aweful I would not go back again. read more

Without any question, the worst dental experience of my life! At the start of the visit I made a point emphatically, and with great emphasis, that during the cleaning, the reason for my visit, that one particular tooth needed to be avoided. It was a crown that had been cemented back in place. I said contact with it was to be avoided. Next, X-rays were taken; after which I was shown to a different room. The dentist, George Ibrahim D.M.D. Came into the room and said he wanted to look at my teeth, which seemed reasonable. During the course, and without my knowledge, and against my express wishes, he pulled the crown in question off! I did not realize this had happened until I felt something strange with my tongue. At that point he said he had wanted to "see what was under it". It had been made clear by me, that my dentist of twenty years(no longer in my insurance group), had reattached the crown three days before. The last time she did this, it remained in place for almost five years. In my opinion, Dr. Ibrahim's actions, border on assault and battery. Finally, the process of reattaching the crown was hasty. He did not take the time to check the comfort of the bite, as my former dentist had. Add to this that the hygienist had to remove cement from my cheek, chin and lips.. Update: less than twelve hours after the sloppy ,hasty re gluing, the tooth is loose; even though I took great pains to avoid chewing in it, to give it time to set. read more

I had high hopes as the staff was professional in the office was modern. I was hugely disappointed in thier actual caring for patients. our dentist retired so my family switched over to Dentists of Hanover. We were all given a laundry list of root canals, fillings and crowns "needed." it was incredibly excessive so after questioning Dr. Ibrahim I went forward with the crown he recommended for a minor toothache I had been having. After the crown I was in unbearable pain. When I returned a few days later to have it looked at he told me I needed a root canal. Why he would choose to crown a tooth that was likely to need a root canal is still a question for me. A crown can crack during the root canal process and a second crown would then be needed. Anyway to make a long story short, my minor toothache turned into a month of constant pain until in and dentist could repair it. I chose to have two of the recommended five fillings done for my son. Several days after he had the fillings he was in pain. We went back and while the dentist was able to fix the fillings they had done just a few days before, they should have been done properly in the first place. I don't know anyone that has ever been in pain after a filling. Avoid this place. The friendly & efficient staff can in no way make up for the inadequate and overly aggressive treatment. That's what sold me on this place, and in hindsight the cheerful, shiny facade is just a cover up for weak, inexperienced dentists offering expensive procedures instead of focusing on best practices for their patients. read more

I used to be happy going here. Then I did a payment plan for some work. They never applied a payment I made. Then when that was finally worked out I was to pay one month at $119 then the last month of $32. I thought that was the end of it. Nope! Then they took the $32 out again. I will never see that money again. I've called and called. "Well we don't see what you're talking about because the person who took care of that is no longer here." Is the computer system individual specific??? I keep getting the run around and a lot of I'll call you backs. It's $32 dollars. What is the problem??? I'm done with this place. My tooth broke inside of a new crown. I'm not even sure how that would happen. They refunded me the crown but made me pay for them to fix it. The entodontist or however you spell it they referred me to said they should have covered everything. It's obvious to me they are only in it for money. I just moved back to MA recently and needed to find a new dentist in the area. I chose this office because of the convenience of their location. I was pleasantly surprised every step of the way, from calling to make the appointment to the cleaning. Everyone person I came in contact with greeted me with a smile and made me feel like I mattered. I love this place!!! They are professional and friendly, they did a great job on my X-rays and cleaning. I can't wait to go back in 6 months! read more
