This is a beautiful place ! Well groomed and decorated however for the Harvest time it was $5 per person to do the maze and it was over in less than 5 minutes . It was cute and clean and safe but $3 is probably more appropriate pricing . The line to get into the country store was so long we didn't even see that . The food truck was a great touch and their event building looks like it would be awesome . We drove 2 hours and were done in maybe 30 minutes top. I was just hoping for more . This is a wonderful place. Little ones will love it. The prices of the events and such are extremely fair. The pumpkin patch was fantastic too. It is not enormous so keep your expectations of it being like a large amusement park realistic. It is a family run farm that has small, neat attractions for kids and teens. We did not experience any of the late night stuff like the haunted forest n such, but I am sure it is up to par with the rest of it. Our 1 year old really enjoyed the train ride. Only complaint I have would be that the hayride should have hay, because it doesn't. read more

When you make a trip to Denton Valley Backyard for a bite to eat, right down the road is Denton Valley Farms. Be sure to make the trip here. As you drive in, you can see the grape vines. Pretty, well kept farm. Step inside the farm store and you'll find all sorts of goodies. All sorts of fresh vegetables and fruits. Several freezers of grass fed beef and frozen veggies. Lots of packaged nuts and trail mixes. Plenty of jellies, jams, and other goodies. The employees were super friendly and told us all about the place. Linda got some fresh squash and tomatoes. I got some jalapeño peanut brittle. It's good! Load up the car and make the trip. You'll enjoy it! read more

Love love love this place! My family and best friend went to check it out and it was so cute and quaint. We're used to the bigger pumpkin patches in the metroplex but the size was just right. Went with my friend tonight (November 4th 2022) and had a fantastic time! I guess Halloween weekend was their busy time, because no one was there! We did the Zombie Paintball, Haunted Hayride, and the Forgotten Forest Walking Trail. The Haunted Hayride was like a Halloween version of a Christmas light tour, which was cool! The Zombie paintball was fun, but definitely get the extra round refill (you run out super fast). The highlight of the trip was the walking trail. They did a wonderful job setting this up with decorations and actors. It took us about 20-30 minutes to walk through and it was worth every second, I was scared several times. I was impressed with the actors staying in character and how well they hid/blended into the environment. It was a little expensive but I would absolutely go again! read more

it is a cute place but really expensive the customer service is awful everyone had a very rude attitude towards me.They also advertised there corn mase... thare was no corn and it was a one palette high small maze not fun. I piad a lot just to get in and they made it sound like the activitys where in with gate entry also the pice seemed like it would have payed for that, the lines where ridiculously long and I was in one line for two hours and then they closed it and I wasted my money and time. read more

What a beautiful farm! After turning off the paved highway, turn onto a rough country road. There's one way in and one way out. Go to the parking area, follow the path to the farm store. Inside you'll see baskets of freshly gathered fruits and vegetables grown on site; selections of preserves and goats milk soaps and lotions from Fredericksburg and Gristmill; Local honey from Fains. Don't forget to buy some made on site homemade peach ice cream or vanilla bean ice cream! Can you say brain freeze? The farm is well maintained and beautifully laid out. It's so quiet and peaceful. There's a few small picnic tables. A big draw is the event building used mostly for weddings. Check the web site. Last summer I bought a bag of peaches ($13.50) that took me back to my childhood as I bit into the perfectly ripened, juicy fruit. It took me a week to finish them off and the last one was as good as the first. If you aren't picky, buy a whole bushel basket of imperfect peaches for canning or freezing. We bought one fat heirloom tomato to make BLT sandwiches later. Pint Baskets of fat shiny blackberries beckoned, tiny carrots, long hot banana peppers, softball size sweet onions, dark green bell peppers, white heads of garlic, green beans, freshly shelled pinto beans, orange cherry tomatoes, purple potato fingerlings, zucchini, yellow squash, patty pan, freshly shucked corn on the cob. In the freezer, the grass fed beef selection was chuck roast, riveted, ground beef, tenderized round steak. Lamb was also available. Update: Today we bought tiny okra perfect for steaming, peaches (fried pies?!), tiny red new potatoes for potato salad, an extra sweet Israeli melon, a big jar of Sorghum molasses for family, and a bag of honey roasted cashews for my man. read more

Nice place to visit. Watch out for stickers/pokey things in the grass. Took my toddler and she didnt like those. The peach ice cream was good and we brought home more fresh peaches and a watermelon that is yellow inside. You can see all the grapes on the vines, will go back and pick those for sure. Frozen grass fed beed for sale, cost this weekend was $4 a pound, havent cooked it yet so cant comment on flavor. Quiet place. Dirt/rock road entrance. Neat place to take kids and show them how things are grown. Very polite employees. read more
