This practice engages in high-pressure sales tactics and appears far more interested in profit than in patient care. I deeply regret not reading the reviews beforehand -- many others have had similar experiences, and I now understand why. Both my adult son and I were targeted with what I can only describe as scare tactics. Despite my son's clean bill of health from a reputable dentist just six months prior, he was told he had serious gum disease and urgently needed multiple expensive procedures -- including deep cleanings, laser treatments, and diagnostic tests -- none of which were previously deemed necessary. He left confused, alarmed, and out of pocket for one of the deep cleanings that they managed to convince him he needed. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I returned myself. The exact same playbook was used on me: dire warnings about the condition of my gums, an overwhelming list of treatments, and a price tag in the thousands even with insurance. I declined all upsells and requested a standard cleaning -- which was then performed carelessly and in haste. Several teeth were missed entirely during both the cleaning and polishing. It was clear that because I refused the costly add-ons, they no longer valued my time or care. I told the dentist that I was very disappointed and she said she would continue to work on me. I allowed her to work a few minutes longer but it was still evident I was not receiving even a moderately thorough cleaning. I have never in my life had a dental cleaning that was done so quickly and haphazardly. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional -- it's unethical. Patients deserve honest evaluations and transparent care, not manipulative sales strategies. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) and hope others do the same. Please protect your health and your wallet -- stay away from this practice.

I went in for the first time for my cleaning. Confirmed with the front office before my visit that I'm eligible for my service and that everything would be covered. Get to appointment day and I'm transparent about my dental history to my hygienist and the dentist and then went home with no out of pocket costs. The issue came a few months later when they mailed me a bill for X-rays because it wasn't covered by insurance. First of all, I've worked with health insurance before and you're able to see patient's eligibility before their visit and let them know what service is going to be covered and what's not. If they had told me to begin with that X-rays weren't covered before my visit, when I got to the office, when I sat down in the chair, etc I wouldn't have been as livid and simply reschedule. Instead they didn't and just play pretend that they didn't know I wasn't eligible for X-rays. What kind of transparency is that for a doctor's office? And then in dealing w this issue I've had to call them multiple times because they kept needing to escalate the problem to a person that's higher in the chain of command and promising to give me a call back and failing to do so EVERY time. They're only opened on weekdays so I'm having to track them down during my work hours, which is absolutely ridiculous. I get it the office is busy, but failing to return a phone call on an ongoing problem WEEKS later is terrible patient relationship management practices. If you've been looking for an honest dental practice and willing to drive far for it, I highly recommend Couture Dentistry. I've went there recently and the doctor was incredibly honest and transparent up front about pricing since I now have trust issues from this place. I got the bill 10/27 and I'm still dealing with this issue to date. Such a shame because the dentist seems like a nice guy but the way this office operates, specifically front desk and the billing team is going to cost him in patient retention.

As someone who has severe anxiety for dentist I can definitely confirm that the care is amazing. The doctors work in a fast & timely manner & the DA's are well trained & friendly. I can't remember her name but during treatment the DA noticed my lips were dry & put Vaseline on my lips. I was so grateful she did that because I felt like my lips were going to rip! The front desk staff are also very nice! Even though I put them through a lot because I requested nitrous for each appointment because of my fears, & also being a grown adult, they never made me feel judged or bad because I requested it. The only thing I would improve is that one of the DAs had semi long acrylic nails & could feel her nails poke me inside my mouth on my gums when she was placing a suction bite block in. We then proceeded to go do X-rays and he kept going out of the room. Then the front desk person came back asking me questions as to why I was there. He gave me his assessment of how we would proceed, but would need to speak with the lab to clarify the best option for me. Then upon checking out the front desk person stated they would need to contact my insurance the following Monday, which was Memorial Day and I knew insurance would be closed. So I left and was told the office would contact me about my further treatment once they spoke with my insurance (they needed to see if this would be considered new or if I needed prior authorization since another dentist had started the bridge work). I knew I would wait a few days to give them time to call my insurance. I waited until later that week and tried to call the office to see what they found out from my insurance. I did not reach a person as the message said they were all busy, but would return my call. We are now at June 10th and I still have NOT heard one word from them. I guess they do not need my business so I will seek treatment elsewhere. I felt like they thought I was bothering them by being there. Do not go there if you want to be treated as a person. VaLinda is always a pleasure to work with as she is very professional, calm and knowledgeable. Dr. Patels clinic is always very clean, and organized. Prior to getting started, Dr. Patel explained everything to me ensuring I understood our treatment plan for that day. Dr. Patel completed some extensive dental work, and he always made sure I felt NO pain!! One of the many impressive qualities of Dr. Patel is that he may be treating several patients at the same time, but He always made me feel like I was the only patient in his clinic. Dr. Patel and his amazing team made sure that all of my needs were met, before and after treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his team for any future Dental care needs. Personally, I will continue to use Dr. Patel.

I am pregnant and they treated me like they have no knowledge or consideration at all when it comes to pregnancy. First, I requested to be at a small incline as it is not safe to be flat on your back. The DENTIST made multiple comments how that was uncomfortable for her because she would have to stand instead of sit during my filing. Making me feel like a total burden. Further, I waited a hour past my appointment to start my filling. Once started, she and the assistant talked about their relationships and religion and home life the whole time. It was extremely unprofessional. Then 1/2 way through the doctor told me she needed to go do other exams. So she left me 1/2 way done sitting there for another 20 -30 minutes to go work on other patients. So all in all , the appointment that should have taken 30 minutes took almost 2 hours. My advice, go to a dentist that actually cares about their work, and not their coming up vacation time. It's typically the office staff that are terrible and the doctors make up for it , but in this case, it clearly starts at the top and the staff follows along constantly apologizing for the dentist's behavior.
