Tried to order boxes. Called on a Thursday and spoke to Terry who was very polite. He did not have the boxes at his location, but could get them from across town and I would have them by 11 am the next morning. The next day no boxes yet at 1 pm, called to follow-up and see if there was an address issue or whatnot. Spoke to Martin who was snarky. Did not know why Terry would give an ETA, his driver was out on the road and did not have a GPS so he didn't know where he was (I dunno, can't call him on his cell?) and I should have them within the hour. He also shared some personal information about Terry, which was not at all necessary. Needless to say, the boxes never arrived and we received no call. So, we called Terry on Monday morning and he stated that the boxes are on backorder and will be at least a week. Canceled order and will not be calling again. read more

Denver Boxes is great at fulfilling orders, delivering on-time, and providing good service - provided you don't actually speak with anyone on the phone. I've been nothing but pleased with their dependable service. In fact everything has been working so well I really thought I was a valued customer. This should be a 5-star review... Now the bad news. Twice now I've received rude and unprofessional service from the person who answers the phone at Denver Boxes. It was the same person both times. The first time I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he was having a bad day. However today his attitude was so rude I've decided I can no longer do business with this company. "Customer service" seems to be a foreign word with this individual. Additionally he seems to be the only person that answers the phone and he fiercely controls access to anyone else. My requests to speak with any other person were flat-out denied. I have met the owner of this company and he seemed like a nice and professional person. I hope he knows his floor manager is reactive, short-tempered and actively encouraging customers to do business with other companies. Apparently I'm not a valued customer after all. In summary if you are ok placing orders via email, fax, or voicemail, with little to no contact with a human being, then Denver Boxes should work just fine. However you may want a backup box company ready - just in case you are treated so unprofessionally you have to cut all ties with Denver Boxes. read more

The availability of the product and the price are what prompted me to order from Denver Boxes... They had what I needed in stock at a very reasonable price. The customer service I received is why I will no longer be doing any business with Denver Boxes. I sent an email to inform them of the general details of my order and my address and then I called the next day to confirm the order and give my bank account information. The gentleman i spoke with over the phone said he was not able to give me a total over the phone because he was busy processing multiple credit card transactions. I thought it was kind of interesting that they wanted my bank account information but were not able to give me the total. I went ahead and ordered anyway and the gentleman indicated he would be emailing me the invoice and that the order would be delivered the following day. The following day I had still not received the invoice so I emailed to confirm that my order was indeed placed and if not to see if i could setup an in store pick-up since i needed the items that day. Here is the response I got:(Yes it was in all caps with grammatical errors when I received it) "YES, WE SPOKE IN THE PHONE TO FIRM UP THE ORDER. SORRY I FORGOT TO SEND THE INVOICE AMONG 2000 THINGS I TRY TO DO. SO WE WERE SET FOR DELIVERY. AND YOUR 6X6X6 BOXES ARE BEING PICKED UP BY MY DRIVER AT THE BIG BOXWAREHOUSE. THEY WILL NOT GET BACK HERE TILL AFTER CLOSE AT 4PM. WE ARE SO BUSY.. SO THE QUICKEST WOULD BE FOR US TO DELIVER STILL. PLEASE ADVISE." read more

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. The guy I dealt with here was DISHONEST. Here is what happened. I called Denver Boxes on the phone and asked if they had any misprints, one-offs, overrun, or misc. boxes. I needed a few smaller size boxes. He told me that he had two pallets of misc. boxes, and that I could buy them for 25 cents each. Well, I drive all the way to Thornton(45 min.), spent 45 min. picking out about 100 misc. boxes, get up to pay, and not only do I find out that he DOUBLED the price he was going to charge me at 50 cents per box, but NO boxes were available at 25 cents each. When I told him that he told me 25 cents on the phone, he got crappy with me, and started yelling at me about "still getting a good deal at 50 cents". He also said that if I bought them at 25 cents, he said it would be a "one time purchase" and would not work with me again as a customer(I should have taken him up on this). As I did not do any research on other companies because of the original quote of 25 cents per box, I thought that he was the only supplier in town (I was wrong), and I had already spent 1.5 hours getting there and picking out boxes. Anyway, I did not appreciate the way I was treated, this guy is a crook in my book, and I will NEVER buy here again. Contrast that with Centennial Container, who has THOUSANDS of boxes at great prices which you can see online. You call them, tell them what you want, and within an hour they are there waiting for you. Contrast that with this guy, who needs "a few days" to get most of the sizes you want. The prices are better at Centennial Container too, and you can get many smaller box sizes for well less than 50 cents, and many at around 25 cents. read more

Great service! These folks sell boxes and packing supplies at prices that seldom can be beat, deliver very quickly with their own trucks, and charge a modest fee per delivery ($5). They have made shipping possible for my wee business. read more
