We visited Denver Furniture for the first time looking for new mattresses and adjustable bed frame. DeAllen was the gentleman who helped us. He was very patient, kind and knowledgeable about all the different mattresses as well as he actually listened and heard us about what we needed and would work best for us. DeAllen took us through a few options for purchasing and he even worked on helping us save money. Or possibly, getting the best deal and bottom line without lessening our purchase's quality. When my husband and I first moved in together, we purchased a super expensive gel memory foam mattress. We thought it was wonderful when it was in the store. However, from the moment it got home, it was way too soft. It was like sleeping on a waterbed without the comfort. Our backs, hips, shoulders and necks hurt all the time. Finally, after moving and realizing I slept on the couch much more often than the bed, I pulled my husband into Denver Mattress to see about getting a firmer mattress. Justin helped us and listened to our story. He gave us a bit of advice about the type of mattresses we should consider and pointed out the beds we should try. Then he let us have some fun. He didn't pressure us to buy, he just gave us information we needed to make the right choice. We left Denver Mattress having spent half of what we paid on our last mattress - plus we got 2 pillows, a mattress cover and some luxurious sheets. However, Justin's excellent customer service didn't end there... 2 hours later, he showed up at our home with our purchases in his own car. He brought them in and set them up himself. Then he took our old mattress with him to be incinerated. Coming from Los Angeles, we've always heard about Midwest hospitality, but Justin really showed us what that's about. We plan to upgrade to a King bed in a couple of years. I guarantee, we will be back! read more

Was able to get in and out quickly, received assistance right away, and it wasn't the hovering type of assistance, Christina was very helpful, got all the information I wanted per mattress, even helped me save $400 since we just needed a mattress. On 8/19/2017 we drove the 60 miles to Denver Mattress in Champaign Illinois. Ordered a Queen mattress and then we "were talked into the new box springs and the mattress cover, sheets and pillows package." They expected the stuff that they didn't have (Pillow and box springs) in inventory to show up in a 3-4 days but said to give them 2 weeks just in case. 9/2/2017 after waiting the 2 weeks to which we never received the phone call that we were promised. I don't care if you tell me it was back-ordered or damaged, just tell me something. Stephanie called well they would give us the stuff from another family's order as they didn't need to pick it up yet, OKAY so what happened to our stuff ?? They didn't say, we went to pick up the order. Okay we got it all in the truck we took the scenic drive home for the 60 miles. Upon arriving at home and while carrying the rigid box springs in that these were not going to make it up the 6 steps and then make a 90 degree turn to make it up to the upstairs bedroom. We fought that for about an hour, we did get the more flexible mattress up the stairs in the mean time. So we call Sunday morning after they open, I figure that I would use this box spring for Stephanie's bed, and need to do something for box springs for the upstairs bed, well I didn't realize that the manufactures make a split set of box springs. So I bought the split set of box springs and another queen size mattress as its about time we replace Stephanie's mattress too. So off to Champaign again for a third trip of of 120 round trip miles argh!!! Well overall a good visit, (all 3) and then on Sunday evening I get a call from Denver Mattress saying that they forget to give us the 50.00 credit that we had earned from earlier. They needed permission to make a credit card transaction to give me the 50.00 credit. Today I checked and everything went through as we had hope and instead of having one happy person sleeping on an new bed we have two!!! HELPFUL HINT :::: I do wish they would have asked about how we were carrying the box springs upstairs as I had know clue that there were other options. read more

I bought my third mattress set from the here in May 2018. I purchased it online, called ahead to let them know I was on my way and was able to drive to the back of the warehouse (Champaign, IL) where Kurt loaded it and tied it down. It was so easy. Kurt (warehouse) was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was impressed with how much he knew about the mattress set I had purchased this time (full for my son) and the ones I bought several years earlier (split king for myself and my husband) along with the differences in them. He even showed me a Boy Scout knot in case I needed to tighten things on my one hour ride home. One of my biggest complaints as a baby boomer age consumer is that customer service is not nearly as good as it used to be. So, on the rare occasions when the service meets my high standards, I am compelled to give praise. Such was the case today with Justin today. Now get this, I told him when I entered the store that I was only there to determine which mattress I was going to order from Tempurpedic as a warranty replacement (i.e., not buying a thing!). I fully expected he would point me in the right direction and wish me luck. Instead, Justin gave me a full rundown on each mattress and included reports from other customers AND himself regarding the line. He listened to my concerns, and helped me narrow down my choices so that I could make the best decision. He even gave me suggestions on how to adjust the mattress to help my sore back! Justin was so personable and helpful that I started feeling a little sad on the drive home that I didn't buy anything, so I plan to go back and at least get some accessories from him at least; and I will tell my friends to do the same! read more

Last year I bought a mattress. It was delivered on time without incident. However, a year later the wood in the box spring spring broke and I called. They apologized, came out and replaced it immediately with a better, stronger product. I was glad to buy another bed there yesterday. read more

Our sales rep was extremely helpful, explained the differences in kinds and styles. We never felt like we were being "pushed" into anything. He allowed us to take the time we needed.
