Worst utility in Colorado. Turned off water with no notice or communication with explanation that they are not obligated to notify us.

This review comes from the behind the scenes business standpoint. I recently have had an interview…read morefor a Maintenance Mechanic position. This positions scope of work encompasses a wide array of Fresh Water Equipment as well as Wastewater Plant Equipment. The interviewing questions posed to me from the superintendent were direct and concise. They came from a postion that I could only perceive as caring very much about Parker Water Districts fiscal and ethical responsibilities to its local residents and environment. He and his team of mechanics are straight shooters with no time to waste finding the absolute best candidate for the job. Because Parker residents get the majority of their drinking and utility water from wells using pumps, it's extremely important that a team of highly qualified and capable mechanics be ready to repair and maintain the equipment on a moments notice. The maintenance team has undertaken a large responsibility and it was made very clear to me. I have not been offered a position of employment yet, so I have the freedom of writing an unbiased review. I experienced pride, respect and responsibility from all of the P.W.S.D. staff members I have interacted with thus far. Therefore I feel it right to honor this regardless of offered a postion or not. The Men and Women of P.W.S.D. have clearly defined Values, Vision, and missions that are clearly adopted and shared by the people responsible for hiring new employees. This is evidence that Management is building a team for the future who will uphold their standards in providing very high quality waster. Water resources Reliably Sustained by Renewable methods in the Region they serve. This is not always an easy task and requires a commitment to learning from mistakes and embracing new methods, new technology ,and techniques. If I were a resident of Parker, CO, I would be very proud of P.W.S.D., and help support them in any way I could.

https://www.yelp.com/biz/parker-water-and-sanitation-district-parker…read more High ridiculous water fees and no proper justification. If you're single and thinking of buying a home in Parker Colorado you should probably think twice. At the time of writing this review 6/23/2020 without even using a single drop of water, here are the fees. Remember, fees + your water usage is your total bill. Below are the fees alone! Without you using a single drop of water Parker water will stick you with having to pay these fees. Can you imagine paying Parker water $82 dollars and you the customer, haven't even used any water yet! Can you imagine a single person paying over $80 dollars for water when you're at work all day! -Water Service fee $31.04 -Wastewater Service Charge fee $9.40 -Wastewater Flow Charge fee $41.67 -Water usage fee $2.50 Additionally, when you look at their paper bill and the way the bill is formatted, it is almost unreadable. You will find yourself confused about what charges are fees and what charges are your actual water usage. The irony here is Parker Colorado has lots of open planes where rain water can be collected and stored because of the open planes but their fees are completely ridiculous. Parker your water fees needs a cleaning, you stink!

I just had service turned on and the technician who came to turn it on was one of the most…read moredelightful human beings I've met lately. His name was Victor, and he's a younger guy. Just went above and beyond to be helpful, but more than that, he also had such a pleasant and kind demeanor that I wanted to make him stay and be my new BFF. What a sweetheart. As a woman who is often home alone for these calls, I've had more than one uncomfortable experience. Victor just radiates reassurance and put me instantly at ease. I called his supervisor, Steve, to tell him what a good experience I had, but I also want to recognize him on here. He was only here for about 20 minutes, total, but made a very positive impression. He turned on the line, was very friendly to my pets, and then took the time to both explain how the water heater and furnace system work, how to check them for any problems, how to adjust the water heat level, and then checked around the house for CO leaks, because I'm a jeweler and have had false positives due to my acetylene torch. He was efficient, so it's not like he wasted time, but in that short amount of time, I learned things about my house's heating/water that I'm embarrassed I made it to this age without knowing. Also, the exhaust tube for the water heater wasn't lined up properly, so he adjusted it and double tested it to make sure my kids and I would be safe from CO leaks. If every big company had employees this competent, personable, and helpful, you'd have a lot fewer Karens b*tching about things. Victor, if you ever see this and are in the market for a new bestie, I'm in

Xcel is awful. Another power outage right now in Erie, CO. It's a perfect weather day - not hot,…read moreno snow, no wind and no power. This is happening more and more often. And Xcel wants to raise rates AGAIN by 8%. I would switch to another provide but guess what - I can't. They have a monopoly. Lousy service and raised rates. You don't need to provide good service when your customers cannot go elsewhere. Ridiculous.
