She met me at the counter, took me to the room and gave good instructions for disrobing and next steps. As she prepared for the service, she clarified what was desired. I do do appreciate her desire to meet my expectations. The honey wax the salon uses is quite nice. It is a quick setting wax that grasps the hair but not your skin. She was very attentive to the few stragglers that attempted to stay behind. Gold star for the OCD attention to this type of detail. I'm looking forward to using Delaney again soon. NOTE...If you are planning to use the first time wax discount, be prepared to provide proof of Texas residency. Quite a challenge for those new to the area or visiting. I was a loyal customer at the Castle Hills location..for years. I would pre-pay waxing sessions. They closed the location, and I had 4 pre-paid sessions left on my account. They offered me appointments in Plano, but it's inconvenient for me, and I wished to continue to work with Tae (who moved on when the Castle Hills location closed). I asked if I could get my money back, but they refused. Good enough...they can keep the money. I would recommend that ANYONE who wishes to begin waxing here, that they move on elsewhere. Make sure you arrive either before your appointment time or the latest 3 mins after. Unfortunately I arrived 4 minutes late and forgot about their policy. If you're more than 4 mins late they have the option to reschedule your appointment. My waxer let me know that since I was 4 mins late if her next client came early then I would have to wait until she was done. I asked how much time is allotted for each client and was told 10 mins. After waiting a minute in the waiting area the next client came in and she was taken in. I had an appointment for a Brazilian wax at this location, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service. My appointment was scheduled for 12:30, but I wasn't seen until 12:45, which I understood since they seemed busy. However, once my service started, it felt rushed. The esthetician was nice, but she mentioned, "I got most of the hair off, but that's my timer, I have to go," which left me feeling unsatisfied with the results. To make matters worse, she did not clean me up or wipe me down after the service, which I feel is an important part of the process. She just walked out. I expected to leave with a thorough and complete job, but that wasn't the case. I appreciate the staff's friendliness, but I would have preferred more attention to detail, cleanliness, and better time management to ensure I received the quality service I pay for monthly! I initially came here because of the amazing deal they have for the month of November which allows you to buy one service, get the other free. The best part is that the free service is the more expensive of the services that you select. Meaning if you get a Brazilian and an eyebrow wax, you get the Brazilian free and only pay for the eyebrows. The staff at this location does a great job of making you feel comfortable when your getting your more intimate areas waxed. Unlike their competitors, Depil Brazil doesn't try to force you into a membership or make you feel like you have to buy all of their numerous products. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Depil Brazil is a terrible business. I pre-purchased a year of nose waxing (a 5-minute service) in December 2021. This store canceled my appointments twice (without notice) and had me wait an hour and a half on another occasion. I only had six appointments so a full HALF of them were times I had an appointment, drove to the location, and was simply told, "Screw you, your service was canceled." After the THIRD time, I really had enough. I asked the manager to simply refund my pre-paid services (nothing more) and she had to check with corporate. Of course, corporate said, "No refunds, even if we violate the contract by screwing people out of services." So here we are. Depil Brazil cancels 50% of the appointments I made because their waxing people don't show up to work and customers have to simply accept the terrible service because no refunds are permitted. A 50% failure rate would never be tolerated in any business, but here it's tolerated and customers are mandated to put up with it. Help others with another read more

Disappointed :( I had my first brazilian wax here today and I was left with tons and tons of stray hairs and large patches of hair. Even my bikini line isn't completely hairless. I understand that because it was my first time it won't be perfect but holy cow! I feel like this was a completely botched wax job. I don't know what to do because my vagina looks so ugly now but I don't want to irritate it by shaving off the large patches. I did make another appointment for 3 weeks but I think I'll cancel and go to EWC next time as recommended by a friend. I will give them credit as it was not painful and my waxer, Robyn, was very kind and helpful. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The front desk person was also super sweet. Their lobby is clean and the rooms are very private. I can also appreciate their free wax for first time customers as it was really helpful and pushed me to make the jump into waxing.
