Marcus Insurance sold out to King Insurance about 2 years ago. When that happened, our premiums for…read moreWorker Compensation and Business Property Insurance went up about $2000 a year. I talked to Marcus but little if anything changed. I looked closer at the policy. They had our employee cost at $420,000 a year when it is closer to $120,000. There were many add ons that were not accurate. I checked with my insurance agency managing my residential property. I cancelled Marcus Insurance since I feel they jacked up our rates to cover their cost of merging to another larger firm. My new coverage is half as much. Calls to the old former owner Mitch sound like I am being transferred to a Florida home. He was pleasant but his son with the red hair has little interest, is rude, and janked the papers I came to sign to cancel with Marcus Insurance out of my hand. Look at other agencies. They are overpriced.
