The best consistent chiropractor I have ever experienced. As chiropractic care should be a staple in health care, Dr.Levy is an essential experience. After having an argument with a locked door ~ my shoulder and whole arm down to my hand was in nerve and tendinitis pain. Dr. Levy adjusted my shoulder when I came in for my maintenance on my neck and back. I left with little to no pain in my shoulder arm and hand. When I saw the orthopedic surgeon after the injury he told me the MRI showed a slight tear in my rotator cuff and I needed physical therapy and maybe surgery. I can't believe I put off going to a chiropractor because I had heard of bad experiences! I have had pretty painful lower back pain for almost a year and the other day it totally got thrown out and I was on my back for about an hour. I'm a mom to 4 boys so I can't be on my back unless I'm sleeping! I immediately contacted my primary doctor but I was told to go see Derek. He saw me first thing next morning. On my way to his office I walked very slow, I could barely get into my car seat without it hurting bad and I couldn't walk up stairs normally. I was also really apprehensive about the additional pain I might endure seeing him. Megyn greeted me and was super friendly and the office is full of toys to distract all of my kids had they been there! WOW!! If you are reading this and you have back pain (or any pain for that matter!) GO SEE DEREK!!! *STOP RIGHT HERE AND MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!!!!! You don't need to read any further but I'll tell you that I had no pain while getting adjusted and it was fast! I walked out of his office a different person! Yesterday I went and saw Derek and I'm so happy that I did. My knees started hurting months ago on and off. Had an X-ray that showed no issues. After waking up barley able to bend my knee I went to see what Derek could do. OMG! He was able to get it back into proper alignment and after spending all day babying it with ice, today I woke up and there is barely any pain! I'm going back in on Monday just to check and see if it needs more treatment (which he said it probably would since it was so out of place) but I just couldn't be happier. This review is long overdue! I messed up my neck during a hiking trip. Couldn't turn my head and had pain going down my arm, elbow and tingling fingers. As a new patient I only saw the doctor for 10 mins. I had the earliest appointment so you could imagine how shocked I was when another new patient had the same appointment time as me with one doctor in the building. When I saw Dr. Levy, he asked what was wrong & I said about 5 things & he focused on one. He fixed my hips & said "since you're here I'll adjust your upper back as well." Gee thanks. He kept saying only come back if you hurt as if he wasn't trying to scam us out of money for frequent visits. The scam is having a $90 first visit & $60 after knowing full well that patients won't be returning. Dr. Levy is awesome! Gets straight to the point, gets you in and out, and makes it a point to not have you visiting indefinitely... I'm 3 visits in for excruciating back pain, but nearly 100% better. Five Stars for sure!! First of all, I had been in pain for 3 weeks and seen multiple doctors with a pinched nerve in my neck. Nothing made it better. I found Dr. Levy and he got me in right away. I arrived ontime for my 5pm appointment and was seen immediately. No waiting as is typical in the doctor's office. Second, Dr. Levy has been at this for almost 40 years and clearly knows what he is doing. He has a compassionate and confident demeanor and is very down to earth and personable. I knew something was out of whack in my back when I started to have constant pain down the right side of my spine and over my right shoulder. It was pretty severe and limited my mobility, and the pain sucked! I knew I needed an adjustment. I saw all the 5 star reviews and I figured it was worth a shot. Dr Levy and his whole office is top notch! I've had some lower back/hip pain for the last couple of weeks and it got much worse in the last day or so. I called Dr. Levy's office expecting to get scheduled in the next week or so. To my surprise they were able to get me in within an hour! After telling Dr. Levy what I was going through and him looking me over quickly he immediately knew what was going on. Was hoping for an adjustment but he refused to treat me because I didn't want to sign an arbitration agreement, saying it was a requirement of his insurance. I've been going to chiropractors for years and cannot remember ever being required to sign an arbitration agreement before and I don't think I should be required to give up my legal rights as a condition of being seen. I've never sued any medical provider before and I'm not eager to sue anyone but I believe that recourse should be available to me in the event of a serious problem. I'm really amazed at what he did to get rid of my pain. I was seriously in so much pain for almost a month after a back spasm. The spasm was in my upper back/shoulder/neck area, and there was a dull, aching pain shooting all the way down my right arm. I couldn't sleep at night b/c the pain was so bad. I spent hundreds of dollars with an ortho specialist running all kinds of tests to find out why the pain wasn't going away. They had me do a nerve conduction study that cost me $80 copay and $150 for the test (completely normal results), gave me a cortisone shot in my arm, prescribed me muscle relaxers, topical anti-inflamm. cream, steroid pills, and I had used over-the-counter Salonpas patches, Tiger Balm, CBD oil, leftover pain pills, used ice and heat, but NOTHING was stopping the pain. Out of desperation, I thought, I'm going to try a chiro. It was the day before I left for a week to Hawaii on vacation. I found him on the local Nextdoor app, and he had the best reviews, so I made an appt. Not even 30 seconds after I started telling him my story, he blurted out, "You have a pinched nerve" and then told me he would fix me right up. He did something to my neck, and literally I could feel relief within the hour. The pain started to recede in my right arm. I was about 80% better. Went on my vacation and came back immediately to him for another session. After that, like 95% better. I have zero pain in my right arm now, and only small, residual pain left in my neck.
