I've never been to a chiropractor before seeing Dr. Derek Levy. I usually do not trust doctors (for many reasons), but the first time I met him he put my nerves to an ease. He throughly explained the whole process to me and gave me some great tips for at home care. You can tell he genuinely cared from the first moment. I even brought my mom with me once because I was impressed with how good he was at easing nerves (as my mom gets anxiety as well with doctors and also has never been adjusted prior). I also love that the staff is so friendly and welcoming. I always forget to book my appts ahead because I get caught up in my busy schedule and they always find a way to fit me in (same day)! Dr. Derek Levy is AMAZING. I've been to several chiropractors over the years and each one always wanted to see me multiple times a week for an undetermined amount of time. I've seen Dr. Levy several times when my back was out and usually I'm done in one visit. Sometimes it takes two or three but he usually tells me if I'm feeling good then we're done and if the pain continues to come back. Also I don't have to make an appointment because he has his hours posted when he's in the office and you can just come in and get your adjustment during any of those hours. M 8-10:30 2-6 T 8-NOON W 8-10 2-6 Th 8-NOON Fr 8-NOON 4-6 His prices are very reasonable too. I used to use my insurance which he accepted and now that I'm uninsured he's been very reasonable to visit on a cash basis and it's usually only one visit anyway. I'm self employed and I work on my feet so when I go to see a chiropractor I really need to get back on my feet or my income stops. Dr. Levy gets me back on my feet and out of pain quickly so I can get back to living my life. I've recommended him to friends, clients and associates and everyone has been grateful. Amazing doctor for two reasons - back treatment and service. Let's begin with treatment. He fixed me back in two sessions. No fuss. Targeted treatment. Fixed the back in two quick sessions. I was given cold pack to take home and sound advice on sleeping posture. They beat part was service. My experience is most chiropractor visits involve scaring you off and upselling multiple visits. This place had no upselling. In fact, doctor told me if you feel better cancel the third appointment. That is what I did. ***ABOVE AND BEYOND*** My husband had taken a slip and was in horrible pain. Desperate, I called Dr. Levy on Christmas Eve right before his office was scheduled to close at noon. He took my call and asked if my husband (who was a new patient) could come right away. But, my husband was stuck at work and couldn't get there until later in the day. Derek was the best chiropractor I've ever met!! It was the first time I ever met with any chiropractor and I'm extremely grateful that Derek was the one! Every time I had an appointment, I would always be excited to go. I got into a pretty gnarly accident back in January of this year and suffered pretty bad whiplash. I have been suffering for well over a year with numbness in both of my hands, which at times is very painful. Derek was referred to me by my partner who has been a client of his for many years. Dr Derek Levy is a life savior for my lower back pain. I almost spent $1600 and 3 months for Physio therapy and MD doctor visits and MRI and at last my MD doctor asked me to take steroid injections which cost about $1000 each. I searched yelp to try chiropractor as the last chance before taking steroids for back pain. Found Dr Derek Levy after reading lot of positive reviews from Yelp. Its true, he is amazing and with in 5 min, he diagnosed my issue and did a manual adjustment(pelvic tilt). After that adjustment my pain reduced to 60%. Dr Derek is a an excellent, patient focused Dr. We all know how painful and frustrating back issues can be, and how waiting a few days to get an appointment can mean days of excruciating pain driving one crazy! I injured my lower back playing kickball and after massage therapy (day 2) and acupuncture (day 6), I finally decided to see a chiropractor (day 7). Dr. Levy was on my list of approved doctors and he was willing to see me even though it was late! I'm so glad that I went to him because I could barely walk at first and 4 days later, I was almost completely healed! My back had been hurting me for over a week. I thought I was the tough guy who would just "Power" through the pain and it would fix itself. Boy was I wrong! Well Murphy's law ended up rearing it's ugly head when I was at work. The pain became unbearable, I couldn't twist my neck or my upper back. I showed up to the office and was welcomed by the lady at the front who was nice and welcoming (Sorry can't remember your name) She is also a Massage Therapist. She took my insurance information and got everything handled really fast. The environment was upbeat and relaxing. Dr. Levy came out and introduced himself then brought me to the back. We talked for a minute and I explained my situation and what was wrong with me. He checked my neck and my back out and had me lay down. He heated my neck and then went to work doing his magic. He adjusted my neck and back and it was instant relief. He then gave me a ice pack and I felt WAY better. Dr. Levy seems like a kind and caring Chiropractor who only wants to have his patients healthy. He isn't into having you come back if it isn't needed. It was easy to make an appointment & his office staff was very nice & welcoming. Dr. Levy was quick to figure out what my issue was (which was in line with what I had been told by a massage therapist). After a quick heat pack & adjustment, I was on my way to getting my hips & spine balanced.
