I had an IPL done by Mallory. my main concern was the large capillaries prior to her beginning treatment she and Lori went over a plan Lori tested a few spots and advised Mallory. I had some dark purple spots after treatment as well as veins that were dark purple. This meant the treatment had worked. I did have a little edema under both eyes. That went away by the fourth day. I highly recommend using the little ice pack ur given immediately following treatment. The dark spots had noticeably lessened after 4 days. Today is the 11th day I still have a couple spots but they're almost completely gone. My skin looks fantastic!! I will definitely go back. Just remember to ask questions. DO NOT GET A SERVICE HERE! ESPECIALLY FOR LIP INJECTIONS!! If I could rate this place lower I would! I was referred by my moms friend and for lip injections. I went in advising the Dr. what I wanted and that was a fuller bottom lip and just a touch on the upper. I have been getting lip injections for 4 years but wanted to try dermatique for location purposes, it is closer to my work and home. The dr. Injected my upper lip so much that she made me look like marge Simpson. I knew right there and then it was not natural looking, I do not swell normally. I do not even use numbing cream, just ice. She poked me so much, I was black and blue and looked like someone punched me in the upper lip. Before I left I recognized that it was so uneven and mentioned it, she added a tiny bit in the bottom and then the entire staff blew me off saying "your swollen" after 4 years even WITH swelling, there shouldn't be that big of a difference. When I called to get a refund on the awful job this place did, the manager Laura's excuses were "there was previous product in there" and "you need medical assistance" and to see if it is actually bigger. Ummm I'm walking around and people are asking what happen to my upper lip. I don't need a medical dr. To tell me that. I was then trying to express my explanation in that these were badly done injections and she spoke over and raised her voice. There was zero validation or customer sincerity. I work for Kane County and will be sure to spread the word to as many people as possible! Save yourself from these AWFUL people read more

I scheduled an appointment with dermatique, they called to confirm and when they did it was the wrong date! I tried to explain myself that that was impossible and the lady on the phone became very vial and rude with me. She began screaming at me saying that I didn't know what I was talking about. Went with my friend to see about laser hair removal for her. I already had mine done elsewhere. They tested a patch area on her and my ankle too after assuring us that it is safe on olive skin. Mine burned and the next day welted. Later scabbed and left a scar. Do not go here for laser. read more
