The prices have gone up a whole ONE time since I've been going here, which was in 2020. If you do see Sharda, her pricing is more compared to the other staff members. I personally have only seen her so I can't speak to the others. Anticipate a slight wait time if coming in after 5pm during the week or anytime on the weekend. You are not able make an appointment but it really only takes about 10 minutes for eye brow breading. Bring cash too, they do not accept CC for services that total under $20. I don't think their hours are correct on google and Yelp so be sure to call ahead to make sure they're open. I did notice that there was a sign during my recent visit that said they are closed on Mondays.

Koki is the most kind and efficient waxologist I've ever know and I love that I can be in-and-out of the salon for threading and waxing in 30 minutes. This is especially helpful because I'm usually seeing them when I'm in town from NYC and scheduling something last minute and they always find time to fit me in. Sharda and Koki are the sweetest, most loving people I know and I am so thankful to have met them. I am grateful I have a place to go to whenever I visit IL to have my beauty needs met. My family and friends also come here for their threading and waxing and I don't think any of us would trust our faces or bodies to anyone else!

I didn't give it 1 star because of the location. I rated it based on the service quality and the price. I came here on a Friday afternoon, no customers being served or waiting to be threaded. I got my eye brows threaded for $10 which expensive in the area. I was pressed for time and since I was at the mall already I decided to get my eyes did. It took less than 5 minutes, which is very short time since I haven't gotten them threaded or anything since Christmas. OK i've gotten my brows waxed and threaded numerous times. But they were BURNING!!!!! She kicked me outta my chair and took my money. I feel like they used fishing line or something. Usually places will give u a mirror while you're sitting in the chair, but she made me get up to a mirror at the kiosk. Also, other places will offer or will often put something on your brows to soothe them or prevent irritation. By the time I was exiting the mall, I noticed red spots. I'm not sure why the tech was in such a hurry. There was no one waiting and she obviously did not care about customer service.

Also the price was really cheap and reasonable, i shopped around the area for several months and couldn't find anything as affordable as this. I had the old regular laser removal several yrs ago that was super painful and expensive. Scheduling the first couple sessions was almost impossible though, i actually referred a couple people but they had the same problem scheduling an appmt, the receptionists didn't really know the Spa schedule and or would put us on hold several times. The schedules were not accurate in any website i visited, there's a different schedule for the Spa and the ob clinic. I really liked Marcela the new tech makes you feel comfortable and changed the schedule which seemed to be lot more persistent. Overall i liked the place and good service but just have some advice, If you have a Spa don't ask the client to bring their own beach towel try to have some there and also give them a sheet to cover up while waiting its a little awkward sitting there even for a minute without something to cover. Med Spa Women's Health Center is a hidden gem for laser hair removal! The prices here cannot be…read morebeat, but more importantly they got rid of my body hair. They allow guys here too. Marcella does an excellent job and is great to talk to. She is here on Wednesdays and Fridays. I had no problem setting up appointments and the office ladies are nice. It is 100% painless and you will start seeing the hairs fall away in the shower in a few days right after the 1st session. You shave the area that you want done before you go in so that the laser can heat the root of the hair. I initially went in for just my chest because it would get itchy, but I also added fingers, shoulders and arms in the next session. I will add legs in next time as well. My skin feels smoother and cleaner. My trainer at the gym noticed the hair on my shoulders was gone after 2 sessions. He's going to get his back done here. The hairiest areas will take 3-4 sessions to see the best results, but they give you 6 sessions. Any hairs that don't get wiped out between sessions grow back much thinner and lighter until they're gone. The office is very clean. It's good if you bring your own beach towel to lay down on and wipe off with when you're done, but they also have their own smaller towels too. I highly recommend going here if you want hair removal. I'm really happy I found this place from all their good reviews. It's very affordable and effective.

It's still relatively new so some things have not been set up at the time of this writing. For example, the main entrance is locked and there is no bell to ring. So, you need to call your stylist to come let you in. I'm sure that will be solved quickly. I can't review the stylists since we still use the same one we're always used, and don't know any of the others. However, the location is large, with many open rooms that I'm sure will fill quickly.

I loved Raji's facials and wanted a salon closer to me, so I was thrilled. I've had at least 6 visits here (if not more). They offer a nice selection of services at a very reasonable price. Waxing, threading, facials, hair, nails/pedicures, airbrush tanning, henna tattoos, makeup.. Salon itself is nicely decorated and very clean. I always feel good vibes when I'm here. Staff is so friendly and booking appointments is a breeze. Gaya is never not here and her schedule is flexible. Brazilian $30. Facials start at $30. Eyebrow threading is cheap too and she does a great job. Lately I've been coming mainly for Gaya's Brazilian wax and brow & face threading. Gaya is the only one who does waxing and she is an absolute doll. Extremely easy to be around, you won't feel uncomfortable with her. She has a very warm personality and is just likeable. Always smiling and jovial. Positive vibes ooze from her (not kidding). She's also professional and hygienic. She takes her job seriously. Wax room is super clean and she explains everything. I always have a ton of questions (especially first time I met her) about the Brazilian. She takes her time explaining and is extremely thorough! Yes, ladies know how important it is to have a 'spotless' Brazilian. I will tell you she uses hard wax only on certain areas. First time I ever experienced it and I questioned whether this was safe / good to use. I researched this myself and found varying opinions from professionals. Some said its fine down there, some don't recommend. Some women don't like it at all. You may not feel any pain with regular wax (I don't), but you will with hard wax. I asked Gaya and trusted her opinion. First time it WAS painful...second time too. Heck, its never not painful for a second or two and I have a high threshold for pain. It doesn't last long and she strives to do her best to reduce the "OUCH!" Regular hot wax is used on remaining area. Again, she is very thorough and throughout process asks if you're OK multiple times. She uses gloves during process and when finished applies baby oil and an antiseptic. You cannot have sex the night of. Your skin is still raw - she advises to apply baby oil and Neosporin few times after your visit. Its important to wait at least a month prior to next apt. Gaya is also a wealth of information on Indian spices and remedies. I've asked about hair, skin, etc and she told me multiple spices to use and how to use them. Tumeric is key along with ginger & others. Ask and she'll be happy to offer her knowledge - she knows her shit! Yesterday I went back for my normal eyebrow threading, and the lady that did my eyebrows threaded the whole side of my eyebrow off. I called and told them I'll be coming back in a while so they could fix it somehow or fill it in, and they closed early. I got there at 7pm and they were already closed, but their closing time was 8pm. I will never go back to this place again. I have pictures for reference. The picture of my full eyebrow is how both of them usually look, and then the other photo is the eyebrow that she completely threaded off. My eyebrows already had the hair there. All she had to do was clean it up, but she completely took it off. I do not recommend this place at all.
