Since the second consisted of a prescribed full body skin exam I was very apprehensive. However Doctor Laungani is a medical professional with emphasis on being very professional. By the time the exam was over I was more relaxed. The whole staff is caring and involved in patient comfort. If the treatment for some spots of concern clear up I do not have to go back for six months. read more

I went to this dermatology clinic with good Google reviews and recommendations from people around me, but I'm not just disappointed, I'm beyond stressed. I received medication for severe acne from this dermatology clinic, and I had pus and blood oozing for about a week on injection spot. When I inquired about it due to diarrhea and my skin peeling from the prescribed topical and oral medication they gave me before, they told me to stop taking it, and that issue was resolved. However, the skin where I received the injection became hardened and it feels like something is festering inside, and it's not getting better over time. So, I inquired about what medication they used because I wanted to go to another hospital, and they said they have no records of it. When someone else called again, I asked if they either didn't have a record of injections or didn't know the medication's name. When I asked about it, they told me someone else would call again, and they just hung up. I normally see Dr Juneau for my regular dermatological issues and she has always time to verify any issues I am having and checks me for possible issue. She has completely removed several cancerous cells and during the procedure verified I was okay. The last spot removal was on my calf; after confirming it was cancerous I received a call to see which of their two procedures to completely remove it I wanted to do (Mohs or Radiation). I chose the Mohs and Dr Lui. I feel blessed to have him and his Medical Assistant Bianca; she has been so kind and caring not only as an assistant but as a professional. The day of my Mohs procedure they were introduced into a new skin graft procedure to cover and help the healing of my leg. I feel blessed by God to have Dr Juneau, Dr Liu and Bianca helping and handling my need. read more

I've had a skin tag on my inner thigh for about four years and decided to get it removed. Also, I've had serious scaring from pimples and I had an acne problem. Dr. Whiddon was so kind and the nurse who attended me was so attentive. They removed it so quickly and spoke to me the whole time. The medication for the acne came out cheap. I found Dr. de Golian on RealSelf.com and I'm very glad that I did. I had several DPN moles on my face and she has removed them to reveal nice healthy skin underneath. During my initial visit, she explained the process and why she uses the method she uses to remove DPN moles. The removal process was slightly painful but luckily it didn't last long. My moles fell off within a week and my skin is healing up nicely. I had two larger moles that didn't fall off completely, which she explained might happen during my 1st visit, and came back for a second visit to have them removed. She is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and cares about her patient. Ps. Please confirm your appointment before you go. I had scheduling issues during my second visit. It was not Dr. de Golian's fault at all. Even if they text or email you, call and confirm to save yourself a headache. read more

I saw Dr. Bellamy here, and my first appointment probably lasted less than eight minutes. When the nurse asked me what products I had used in the past, of course I began a litany of brand names. What else but the end of the road might have brought me to the Dermatologist? After she stepped out of the room with my initial paperwork, I heard her say, exasperated, "She's tried Everything, she says." Well? The doctor herself, though, was distant, but polite. She diagnosed my type of acne and explained, in brief, the meds she was prescribing. (Of course, Nurse Rachet returned to give me the DL on proper use.) Dr. Bellamy has kept me on the same meds for a while now, and everything is working. She gives me generic options when possible, and I felt comfortable enough to ask my mysterious mole questions. She didn't push any products from her office on me, but was reluctant to give reviews of OTC makeup products. I did get a "I think its overrated" when I asked about Clinique. The office sells Pur Minerals, but she allowed that any mineral makeup was a better option. On my second visit, she recommended a derm abrasion session with an aesthetician. Even this, though not covered by my insurance, was reasonable for a luxury and a lark: $75.00. I think the office ladies run the gamut between medical supervillians and fairy godmothers, but I guess them's the breaks. I like that the visits are short and to the point because everything I've tried is working so far. I appreciate professionalism more than gettin' chummy when it's my biggest organ we're talkin' about. (the derm abrasion session was more casual and chatty, if you like that part better. They even wax brows, lips, etc.) I say 4 stars for this convenient to me location. read more

I am having issues with my skin, thinning, purpura, etc. I am too young for this to be happening. I did not see, the doctor, I saw the PA. She told me to get a time machine. She offered no help or suggestions. The aesthetician then came in. She was sweet and helpful. She offered many useful suggestions. I started using Dermend, which is a big help. If you want to be treated for a medical condition at this practice, think twice. They are a COSMETIC practice, for fillers and lasers. Their staff is comprised of what seems like Valley Girls and highly unskilled in dealing with 'medical' patients and conditions. The doctor I saw called my condition little more than a 'nuisance' when I've seen numerous specialist who consider it quite a bit more than a nuisance. I was referred out by my doctor for a treatment that could not be done n her office and this practice felt as though they knew better and could treat me with the same medications that other doctors had abandoned as treatment. I have no idea if they're decent cosmetic dermatologists but I can say they are highly lacking as a medical dermatology practice and truly need to staff their office with people who have organizational skills and the ability to compassionately deal with medical dermatology patients. read more

Patient: 13 yr old female, mid afternoon appt. Front office staff pleasant-nothing out of the ordinary to mention. Waiting area was calm and seemed to check patients in and out efficiently. We were very early for the appt, but were called back as soon as the paper work was put into the system. Dr Barnett's assistant was sweet and to the point. Dr. Barnett knew exactly what was going on as soon as she came in which was almost immediately. She discussed details to both myself and daughter. She had to do a quick procedure and explained what she was doing step by step. She has a down to earth personality. I would make another appointment at this location if needed. read more

Office is a joke, and do not call you about results and then culling office sends a bill a month after collections agency sends you a bill them try's to charge you $30 for collection agency fee. My husband recommended this practice to me and I booked an appointment. I have a busy schedule and booked it for 1:30. I arrived at 1:20 so that I could fill out the necessary new patient paperwork. I was the only patient in the waiting area. After about 30 minutes another patient entered. And a few minutes later, another. At 2:20, another patient who had an appointment at 2:00 came in and the office refused to see her because she was late. They then called one of the patients back that came in after myself. At this point I had been waiting an entire hour. When I told the young woman at the front desk that I just wanted to cancel my appointment due to the excessive wait as well as how hypocritical their office appeared, she didn't even apologize. I was told that my insurance doesn't cover the whole procedure so I had to pay $170 for a one minute procedure (light therapy) and told that each subsequent visit would cost between $180 and $220 out of pocket because my insurance company didn't approve the whole amount. I received my Explanation of Benefits yesterday and realized that my insurance company paid 100% minus my co-pay of $40 ($320 total). This type of practice is what destroys our health care system. read more
