I'll start by saying that the front office staff are absolutely the friendliest I have encountered in a very long time. First let me say that my appt. was for 9:50 and I was driving away at 9:56. ALL medical professional offices should really take a lesson from this practice first on friendliness, care and concern, and prompt care. First, Morgan was just the sweetest gal and is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and gentle while performing her job assisting Katherine Simmons. About Katherine, she is absolutely FANTASTIC performing her job and makes the visit painless. As I said above, all medical professional offices could stand to visit this office and take notes on the day-to-day movements and treatments of patients. If I thought it would make a difference, I would ask that both Morgan and Katherine receive a sizeable raise for the services that they provide making the patients quite comfortable and listening to the patients regarding issues they may have. I will absolutely continue going to them when I am in need of dermatology care. Thank you both.

When I inquired about it due to diarrhea and my skin peeling from the prescribed topical and oral medication they gave me before, they told me to stop taking it, and that issue was resolved. However, the skin where I received the injection became hardened and it feels like something is festering inside, and it's not getting better over time. So, I inquired about what medication they used because I wanted to go to another hospital, and they said they have no records of it. When someone else called again, I asked if they either didn't have a record of injections or didn't know the medication's name. When I asked about it, they told me someone else would call again, and they just hung up. And when they didn't call me back by the agreed-upon date, I called covington branch again day after, and they told me to contact the main branch? Waiting forever~

We are extremely disappointed with our recent experience at Georgia Dermatology in Conyers…read more My husband self-paid for his appointment three weeks ago and requested a medication that had previously worked well for him. Instead, he was advised to try a "better option." He trusted the recommendation, but unfortunately the medication did not work. We called the office to request a refill of the original medication and were specifically told over the phone that the he must attend a recheck/ follow-up appointment. It would be necessary and that there would be no additional charge. All we wanted was for the original medication to simply be refilled and sent to the pharmacy. After taking time out of our day and showing up for the appointment, he was then told at check-in that he would have to pay again. The issue is not just the money, it's the lack of communication, patient care, and respect for people's time. Had we been told upfront there would be another charge, we could have made an informed decision before rearranging schedules and returning to the office. As patients, we expect transparency, consistency, and basic decency in communication. This experience left us frustrated and concerned about how patients are being handled.

I felt unheard and misunderstood during my "diagnosis" Apart from that this, my concerns with dermatologists have always been the sneaky bills I receive afterwards. I made sure to confirm 3 separate times what my co pay was going to be. They told me on the day of the appointment that it will be $250 for a regular diagnosis and if it gets extended it will be $340. I paid my copay up front upon arrival. Dr. Super spent a total of 12 mins in my diagnosis. Most of the time was used up in looking up things she didn't know. And I was suggested to buy one of their in house serums. There was no new diagnosis nor extended consultation. If anything I felt as if I was teaching them something new. After the appointment I was sent another bill for $120. For what I am unsure and I am in the process of trying to resolve this. This place is going downhill. I WILL NEVER BE GOING TO THIS DR AGAIN.

Went back a couple of weeks later because my skin had not improved. Dr. Fountain looked at me said the same thing and would not run a test. Finally I went to a general physician and was treated properly. The office personnel is rude and I was told they see so many patients a day that they cannot run tests on everyone. I will never go back and I hope that Dr Fountain will go ahead and retire because he has lost his enthusiasm and no longer takes care of his patients.
