I received medication for severe acne from this dermatology clinic, and I had pus and blood oozing for about a week on injection spot. When I inquired about it due to diarrhea and my skin peeling from the prescribed topical and oral medication they gave me before, they told me to stop taking it, and that issue was resolved. However, the skin where I received the injection became hardened and it feels like something is festering inside, and it's not getting better over time. So, I inquired about what medication they used because I wanted to go to another hospital, and they said they have no records of it. When someone else called again, I asked if they either didn't have a record of injections or didn't know the medication's name. When I asked about it, they told me someone else would call again, and they just hung up. And when they didn't call me back by the agreed-upon date, I called covington branch again day after, and they told me to contact the main branch? Waiting forever~

Not off to a good start. I was seen at an event at N. Fulton Hospital at the end of August. I got a…read morephone call in the first week of September trying to get me to book an appointment with Dr. Goodman since he was the doctor who saw me. I was out of town so I said I would call back. Called back today and was told right off they don't take market place insurance (Obamacare.) I don't have that kind of insurance. Even after telling the girl that answered the phone what kind of insurance I had she had to place me on hold several times to talk with the office manager. She came back on the line and told me they don't accept my insurance. So I called my provider. Sure enough this office is in my network. So my provider called them and conferenced me in after explaining to the new person that answered the phone that they did accept my insurance. Then they tried to say that the Dr. Goodman wasn't accepting new patients. That was a lie because a) He was the doctor at the event trying to get new business and b) the first girl I spoke to said he was booked until the middle of October but he was available after that.

I'll start by saying that the front office staff are absolutely the friendliest I have encountered in a very long time. First let me say that my appt. was for 9:50 and I was driving away at 9:56. ALL medical professional offices should really take a lesson from this practice first on friendliness, care and concern, and prompt care. First, Morgan was just the sweetest gal and is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and gentle while performing her job assisting Katherine Simmons. About Katherine, she is absolutely FANTASTIC performing her job and makes the visit painless. As I said above, all medical professional offices could stand to visit this office and take notes on the day-to-day movements and treatments of patients. If I thought it would make a difference, I would ask that both Morgan and Katherine receive a sizeable raise for the services that they provide making the patients quite comfortable and listening to the patients regarding issues they may have. That's was a little concerning but I just hurried on inside. The waiting area decor is your typical hospital decor. I did notice some adorable marble lamps that I actually ordered for my new place. The receptionists weren't close to welcoming. They looked at me as if I was a zombie or something. Dr. Grant was the best thing that happened during this visit. Attentive, assertive, an active listener and patient. I doubt I will be returning nor will I be recommending.
