Not off to a good start. I was seen at an event at N. Fulton Hospital at the end of August. I got a phone call in the first week of September trying to get me to book an appointment with Dr. Goodman since he was the doctor who saw me. I was out of town so I said I would call back. Called back today and was told right off they don't take market place insurance (Obamacare.) I don't have that kind of insurance. Even after telling the girl that answered the phone what kind of insurance I had she had to place me on hold several times to talk with the office manager. She came back on the line and told me they don't accept my insurance. So I called my provider. Sure enough this office is in my network. So my provider called them and conferenced me in after explaining to the new person that answered the phone that they did accept my insurance. Then they tried to say that the Dr. Goodman wasn't accepting new patients. That was a lie because a) He was the doctor at the event trying to get new business and b) the first girl I spoke to said he was booked until the middle of October but he was available after that. read more

I have never seen an office so disorganized with the information they provide to their customers. Went in for a consultation and was given directions to call before my appt. so they can prescribe a lotion for numbing my legs before procedure which I was to apply 20 minutes before. Since I live an hour away she suggested I put it on as soon as I live the house. Called to get the lotion and was told to come an hour early before my appt. and they can apply the lotion and I can wait in the lobby for its affect. The girl said she will make a note in the system so they know when I check in early. She didn't'. Got there one hour before appt. Checked in and they were confused why I was there so early. Waited 1 hour there and they didn't do anything. When it was time to take me in the same lady that did the consultation told me I don't need the numbing lotion. That was so wired, why would she tell me that I need it and now I don'? she said she will put more air and I will be fine. Ok I did it with a few jumps in some areas that were a little painful. Six weeks after, I had to do my second treatment but couldn't schedule it within that time cause she said she will be on vacation so I had to do 8 weeks. a week before my appt. I had to reschedule it because a week before my appointment I had travel which exposed me to sun and they told me to avoid sun for 2 weeks which was impossible. Called to reschedule and the person told me that they will charge me a fee if I reschedule and it's not within that 6 weeks of the first treatment. I couldn't believe it! So what was I supposed to do get treatment with sun exposure and get cancer? Then I decided to forget all the treatments and lost my money because of their miss information. Stay far away from this place. They are scammers and all they do is take your money but don't deliver. This was the worst dermatologist office that I have ever encountered. As a patient that has gone here for 3 and a half years, for every derm appointment, I think I have some weight when I say, these people are terrible. First, the male doctor who excised my cyst from my left jawline permanently BOTCHED my face, I also paid like $1,000 for that. So thank you Goodman, for charging me to butcher my face. I have had an issue now for a year, where cysts pop up all over my body and Amy couldn't figure it out, the PA Macy wouldn't refill my script after swabbing it, and sending in Amoxocillin since it was indeed bacterial, and today the infection has spread all over. I have moved between states, and she could've easily refilled it and I wouldn't be covered in cysts right now. The phone systems have gotten worse, and worse, and worse. I used to be able to get an appointment same day, someone on the phone within 2-3 rings RINGS (NOT BUTTON PRESSES AND HOLD TIMES). They really need to just ditch that stupid phone system, it's trash and keeps the customer from ever getting any help or anybody on the line. THANK YOU GOODMAN. Dr Louie at the East Cobb Location, is the only dermatologist that has value at these practices. And has been surgically accurate and not caused any scarring. No one else though unfortunately. read more

* Female assistant asked to take photos of my male teens' private area that needed to be looked at. However we specifically went to this location because it had a male provider. BTW I did not allow her to take the photo. * My son reported that either Dr Crasto or his assistant smelled of cigarette smoke. Cld have been a prior pt. He is very sensitive & this bothered him greatly. * We were asked to make a follow-up appt in 3 mons only to find Dr Crasto is not seeing patients in the clinic at all anymore. * There are 4 Goodman Dermatology clinics within 45 mins of our house & the only one with another male doc is 1.5hrs away. * We will not be back. read more

Very unprofessional, sat in a room for close to an hour. they told us they were sorry but we're not aware we were in the room that they put us in. Was then told a treatment wasn't necessary but they could freeze off a spot if we wanted, being that we were already there. treatment took about 1 minute and I was billed over $300.00 dollars. A week later I I was billed another $160.00 dollars. total $568.00 dollars. read more

On Aug 20, 2025 there was a car fire on 575 So. bound in the early am. My appointment was at the Woodstock office @7:45 due to the traffic jam I arrived 4 minutes late the Dr. refused to see me. I did leave my house 45 minutes early in anticipation of traffic but you never know if you're really going to end up sitting on 575 do you ? I tried to explain there was a lot of traffic they wouldn't hear it. Did I want to reschedule? Well no, thank you I won't be back ! There wasn't a sole in the waiting room ! I had called several dermatologist before Goodman but couldn't get a sooner appointment. I found this office via Google. Tried to book with Dr. Louise online since she specializes in AA skin but she was booked through December. I just happened to call and am glad I did. The explained I was trying to book an appointment with Dr. Louise for a rash. The young lady stated she would check to see if there were any cancellations and she cambe back and told me there was availability for later that week! Booked and went to my appointment and the staff was so nice! From the receptionist to the assistance to Dr. Louise herself. Dr. Louise confirmed what I had suspected that the hair from my braids caused the rash. She gave me cream and rash healed up within a week! I will definitely be back when needed! read more

This practice should be the guiding star for any medical providers, if not for any business. I have been a patient of this group for a litle over 5 years and it is so far above any medical practice in customer service, it really cause problems for expectations from other providers, becaus they cannot "touch this"! I do not know what Dr. Marcus eats for breakfast, but we could all use a dose. I have pretty high expectations for my providers and service providers, and I have yet to be dissapointed by this group. I and my husband have had skin cancers removed here. For my surgery, I had a MOHS surgeon (who they brought in from Florida) perform the surgery on my face. He was great, but before he could do the sutures one of their young dermatologists came in and sutured my face. She made the sutures so long that it made a big scar on my face (needless). My husband had one of their young dermatologists remove a skin cancer from his arm and repair the incision. The whole mess looks botched. I do not recommend this practice. read more

I've been a long-time patient at Goodman Dermatology, but I recently had a very disappointing experience where I will not be returning. Upon checking in the morning, I declined to fill-out their bi-annual office questionnaire. After getting called back and to my surprise Dr. Goodman himself entered may private room and asked me to complete the office's questionnaire, I politely declined, explaining that I didn't believe it was medically necessary. Rather than respecting my choice, Dr. Goodman took offense, insisting that my refusal was disrespectful to him personally. I calmly reiterated that it was simply a questionnaire I preferred not to complete. He then raised his voice, repeatedly accusing me of being disrespectful and even stating, "I can make you do anything" since it was his practice. I remained polite throughout the encounter and still declined, but his rude behavior made me extremely uncomfortable--especially given that I was about to undergo a medical procedure with another doctor and assistant present in the room. What kind of a narcissist (doctor) cares more about his office survey getting completed than how his patients are feeling prior to having skin cancer removed? Hard pass on Marcus Goodman. read more

I have a 2-inch long disfiguring scar across my face from a Moh's procedure for a quote "1 on a scale of 1 to 10" squamous carcinoma. My kids have a melanoma gene, but they took maybe two minutes to look over their skin. One of them had a biopsy and was told that they'd call if it was serious. They called and he tried to call back at least ten times, finally physically going into the office to try to get the news. When I asked questions on the first issue and complained on the second, they sent me and all of my adult children certified letters saying that they refused to treat us in the future. read more

They are never on time. Average wait is 45-1Hr. So frustrating to have a morning appt and they run an hr late already. Will look at smaller practices since this one always has a waiting room full of people and they always run extremely late. Docs and nurses are good, but then again I don't have anything done other than regular full body skin check. read more

Today, January 27, 2026, I had an appointment at the Roswell location for a patch test result. It was the worst experience I've witnessed. I had an outbreak on my upper body and they decided to give me a patch test. When I returned today for the reading, my feedback is that they were unable to determine why my back and upper body was breaking out. Of course I was very unhappy with the feedback. How is it that a Dermatologist cannot or will not determine a diagnosis for a patient or share ideas about possible next steps. A staff assistant did a visual review of my back. Her feedback was that she did not see anything as a result of the patch test. My upper body totally has visible lesions and/or scars. (It looks like I had a fight with a porcupine). Unfortunately, I still don't have a diagnosis as to what they are and hence, what is causing them. With a practice as large as Goodman, you would expect a strong team to help identify the reason for the issue with a client's skin. I had to personally remove the tape a day before my visit. The young lady that reviewed my back said the patch test did not provide any diagnosis for the issue and sent me on my way! Hence, my frustrated demeanor was obvious. I felt as though I received very unprofessional service. Sometimes bigger is NOT better. I noticed here on yelp, they have been rated with 1 STAR numerous times. I will NOT recommend this practice even if they serviced animals and/or humans, given the service I received today. My demeanor was obvious that I was unhappy when I left that facility! After my visit today, I shared my experience with other patrons regarding my service, and as a result, I was given a new Dermotologist to visit. read more

I went to see Dr C in the Dawsonville location in Feb. I had a full body exam and some spots spayed. I informed the staff I had Medicare with a Supplement. I received an email with the bill total and they did not bill my Supplement and would not talk to me on the phone. They insisted I correspond via email/text only as they were busy calling other patients. I thought I was a patient..guess not. They have outsourced their billing and the coding and my bill was not itemized. I disputed it and asked them to resubmit after 5 emails. The pdf they sent me stated by Medicare that it was being over billed with no supplement billing listed as well. My full body exam had no documentation because the Dr and assistant entered none into the system during my visit. I have been to other Dermatologists and they always documented what they saw on a tablet and let me see and agree to. I would skip this outfit due to billing errors and bad experience I had with the staff and doctor. I was asked to contact the supplement insurance and handle it myself. Rick read more

My mother has had a number of basal surgeries. The staff and all the doctors have been so kind On our first visit the office was having a luncheon which we were invited to ! Best office in all of the South! My mother had been treated with the upmost respect Dr Goodman came in himself on her last visit to make sure we were happy, the nicest man! read more

Met a new doctor assigned to me for this 6-month follow up full body scan, Dr. Ned. Appreciated his confidence and knowledge telling me about his observations. Then freezing only a few, pre-cancerous types of moles. This is a large, highly organized and efficient clinic. The staff is very friendly and courteous. This company should be sued, that's dishonest the way they always up charge people at checkout. They are the only "specialist " who does that . Be Aware ! You never know how much you are going to be charged at the end , with them ! I went 5 years ago for a cyst in my neck , paid the $60 copayment at my arrival , the dermatologist decided to inject a drug into it to shrink it . At the checkout , they add $60 dollars for the drug and $60 for the injection, cause it's a procedure they said .so I ended up paying $180 for an injection in my neck , who didn't do anything to my cyst, i went elsewhere and got it removed for ...$60 copayment. Now shame on me ! I came back today to get a cyst removed ( because after 5 years I forgot) and , $60 copay at checking and then $152.55 for the "procedure " at check out . Never ever they mentioned anything about the up charge , before you get treated I have to come back in two weeks to get my stiches removed and then I'm done with them . read more

I had been going to a different Dermatology Clinic for over 15 years and while the staff there was nice I just felt the level of care was subpar as I always felt very rushed at each visit and concerns were quickly discounted. My general practice Dr. recommended Goodman to me and I am so glad she did. I just can not say enough good things about my first appointment/experience at Goodman Dermatology. The level of care is exceptional. Dr. Kahn and his medical assistants were truly listening to my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure my skin is healthy. I have a lot of sun damage and need a Dermatologist who will take the time needed to fully evaluate my issues and recommend treatments. Highly recommend Dr. Kahn and the entire Goodman practice. I have been going to Goodman Dermatology for years. I trust them with my skin 100%. I've gone for acne in my teens and they were extremely helpful. They were able to manage and actually make my skin clear! Now that I'm in my 30's, I go for my annual skin check. I know that I will be thoroughly checked for any suspicious moles/freckles, from the scalp all the way down to the toes! I've had several precancerous spots removed during my skin check and not once did they ever cause any pain. I appreciate that they take their time and make sure that they are not missing anything. Great doctors and assistants; but unfortunately their new policies are terrible. If you have come for years and brought your whole family to This practice, but if 3 years has passed and you were healthy, you are labeled as new patient and higher rates apply. So, is it good to build a relationship with a practice if you are going to be treated this way? Also, this info is not disclosed before the appointment. My wife and I recently visited Francesca Ceci, MD at Goodman Dermatology. In fact, we have already seen her twice for our skin lesions. As a physician, I truly value her expert medical opinion, her professionalism, and honest candor. She is very personable with a wonderful demeanor, incredibly thorough, very generous in spending as much time as needed for patients, calming, listens carefully, and clearly explains the options available. I am so grateful to her, and to her excellent assistant Kinsey, for taking wonderful care of our family. Goodman Dermatology also has a superb and very efficient office staff including the intake reception area, as well as the billing office staff who go out of their way to help patients handle any insurance issues that may develop. This is a great dermatology center! I've been to the Woodstock and Roswell locations and the staff has been great at both. I have a history of skin cancer and my skin needs close attention. Dr roberts was very thorough and informative with my skin exam. The punch biopsy I had with him was easy as well. I switched to Goodman dermatology from my previous dermatologist bc I wanted a doctor who was thorough-- and am so happy I did. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking medical dermatology. read more

I went today for an appointment, my first full body exam. I told them I had a family history of stage 4 melanoma (on my grandmothers head) and I didn't have any spots I was specifically concerned about but wanted to get checked regardless (I have sun damage and many freckles / moles). The NP took all of 2 minutes glancing over my skin, missed my biggest mole, didn't check my head/hairline/anything, and told me she would see me in a year. Everyone was nice, however, I feel like I wasn't cared about at all. With the family history, I was hoping I would get a little more attentive care. I am a registered nurse and left feeling like I should go somewhere else to get double checked in case anything was missed. read more

I didn't have great experiences with my prior dermatologist. After researching several options in the area, I decided to give Goodman Dermatology a try. Upon calling, I was able to get an appointment in a week's time. After booking, I received links to fill out all the paperwork online, so I did not have to do anything once I arrived at the office. Upon checking in, I sat down for all of 30 second and I was called back into the room. Dr Roberts saw me after a short period, did a thorough examination and explained everything to me in detail. I was out the door in about 20 minutes from when I first arrived. Overall, a great experience and I will return for future checkups. read more

Was able to get in via a cancellation, and drove from Alpharetta to Dawsonville! I was unable to get an appt with my regular dermatologist, so a friend of mine recommended Goodman and specifically, Dr. Ivy. Much to my surprise, she was my Dr and I love her! She took the time to explain all my options and medications to treat my severe eczema outbreak. I'm reschedule to see her in January in their Roswell location. I can't say enough positive things about the whole practice...from booking, to check-in, to the med tech who took wonderful notes for me to take home, to the actual visit with Dr. Ivy, to check out ....really a breath of fresh air. I've already referred one of my friends to this Practice. Please feel confident to leave you Dermatologist if you're not happy... and become a patient at Goodman! read more
