We showed up 10 minutes early and waited for over an hour. Nik never showed up. We booked another appointment for another day/time and he showed up. We were his first tattoos and it was at 10:00 am. Nik took a couple shots of something prior to tattooing. I thought nothing of it because during prior conversations, he indicated that he was not a drinker . Daughter wanted a simple , minimalistic and small daisy behind her ear (black -no color ). My tattoo was going to take much longer . What she got was something that resembled a tube rose but actually looked more like male genitalia. He added red ink to said tattoo. My tattoo was to be a silhouette with background coloring. It looked more like a cartoonish character (asked for realistic) and the coloring was heavy in some areas and light in other areas and the coloring was NOT what I asked for . Nik wiped my back with one hand while resting the gun in the other hand on the back of my head. He dropped the gun and while it dropped, it knocked over the tray. He caught it by the cord before it hit the floor and for a moment I thought it was going to hit me. I sent him a DM and told him how unhappy we were. I was more concerned about my daughters tattoo than my own. His comeback was "you signed a waiver". I don't know what he was taking shots of that morning but his work that day was sloppy , careless, lacked simple directive, integrity and he was more than arrogant. He could have cared less about our concerns. Its a shame because I initially thought of him as down to earth, detail oriented and highly skilled. His pics on his page and website reflect amazing artistry , however for my daughter and I, we were more than disappointed and ended up paying twice for our tattoos by having tattoos covered up. In general, I want people to succeed. this applies to Nik as well but with that said , I would have preferred another no-show or cancellation over this experience .

I had a piece in mind to cover up an older tattoo. Donna was amazing and recognized right away that it wasn't the right fit for that part of my body. So we talked it over and figured a piece that I liked. We made an appt for two sessions within two weeks of each other (btw she is super popular, I had to wait 5 months to get my first appt). I was very happy with the coverup part. And was even happier when the whole piece came together and was done. Donna is warm and friendly, and doesn't make things awkward! I've since moved to Kitsap Co. and called Diane hoping to get my first touch up appointment. She said, "Why did you wait so long to get a touch up?" As I just told her - I was busy moving. She adds, "I don't like following ups on other people's work so I'll have to charge you extra since you didn't have your brows done by me." That's fine but she started randomly making up pricing versus what was listed online. Many salons don't retouch someone else's work but she complain SO much instead of just saying it was against her policy. She continued to complain until I finally told her it's best if I go elsewhere. Why not be clear about your policies and pricing and NOT hint that eyebrows someone else did were botched? They weren't... at all. It's annoying when a salon or aesthetician acts like they're the only or best game in town. I would NEVER let someone so negative touch my eyebrows.
