I got a move-in special, signed the documents online, and stopped by to meet Brian, who gave me the keys to a 5x10 unit. It was just the right size for what we needed to store. Recently, I've been working with Olivia, who kindly helped me secure a second unit. I'm in the process of transitioning everything from my Oakley unit and some items in the garage to Paso. Overall, I've been pleased with the storage units. I did have one issue with the roll-up door, but Brian took care of it quickly. The facility is clean, secure, well-lit, and requires a code to access. While I'm hoping to eventually move out of both units at Theatre Drive, I'm glad to have had this option. So, first night, we had to stay in a hotel in order to park our trailer somewhere. Spent most of Friday evening and Saturday morning calling places. Talked to Kathy at the front desk and she was able to find the last available spot that would work for our size trailer! And right here in SLO! We really thought we were going to have to drive an hour to store it. Anyway, Kathy was amazing-explained the contract throughly, I understood how my billing would be handled, showed me how to use my code to open the gate, and even shared where the bathroom was! What storage unit has a bathroom?! We even got interrupted by a customer moving their stuff out (moving away) and as they left, they mentioned to Kathy how well they've been treated and if they come back, they will definitely come back to Mission. That sealed the deal for me. We are so appreciative that we came across Kathy and Mission! Highly recommend! 5 stars all the way!

They finally did get traps about a month after I found them in my unit, but they had already ruined tons of my stuff with their waste by the time I saw them. There were many mice traps all down the row, so I know it wasn't just my unit. The customer service use to be ok before covid, but it went way down hill once it hit. It's very unfortunate that this place changed. I just might be finding another spot.
