Jeremy took his time, approached Beajou on her level while kneeling patiently, called her name and waited for Beajou to acquaint herself with him. I was thrilled when she came to Jeremy immediately and was completely comfortable with him stroking her back while we continued to talk. Now every morning from the moment I say Jeremy's name my Beajou sits up and with excitement stares at the front door anxious for his arrival. Here's the biggest surprise, I no longer have to chase Beajou around the apartment to put on her harness!!
