My wife and I live in the largest independent living apartment (3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 1810 sq ft) and we require very little support so I can't comment on negative comments made about catered living, memory care or health care. We have not used any of these facilities. We continue to be critical of the food and service in the dining room during our one meal a day. While the food has improved somewhat since we moved in, many of the dishes are bland and boring and the dining room is perpetually short staffed. The young (teens and early 20s) servers work hard but there are not enough of them and they are by no measure professionals. The pay is not good enough for that. There is a curious difference in the food service options between different accommodations. Independent living arrangements not attached to the Gardens building are not required to have a food plan but they can pay by the meal if they choose. Gardens Building residents cannot drop the plan. At one time I explored trying to get out of the 1 meal a day plan but that option was not available. In reality, I don't want to cook 7 days a week even though I have a lovely kitchen. Everything I have said in prior reviews still applies. The dining room service still earns a C and the health inspection grade is just "Good" a value that has not changed since we got here.

This place values money over its employees! High turnover…read morerate. Home health workers have to work off the clock to stay under a limited time frame. Complaints among many employees flow like water from a dam that's burst, however, positive feedback is enforced with penalties if an employee doesn't post at least 3 a month. Residents and their families have voiced concerns over rising costs contrasted by less staff and longer wait times for assistance. The food served to the residents is dismal. At breakfast, the food is either burnt or gelatinous from sitting in a pan too long. Bistro food is good, aside from the stale desserts. The food served to the memory care residents is low quality and and difficult for them to eat it. For being a Christian based company, why does it feel like it's ... not..

Elena and her staff have taken excellent care of her from day one. It is clear that Elena and the staff care a great deal about the residents they care for and do an excellent job. What appealed to me from the fist step I took in the home is how clean, orderly, spacious and pleasant it is. I knew that my mom would like it. She is looking much healthier and happier since she has been there. I come by for quick visits and have also brought my brother and sister and their families for visits and each time we feel welcome. A Nurse Practitioner visits monthly and he and Elena are open to discussing my mom's health needs and taking a team approach to dealing with them. Elena makes excellent suggestions - and follows up on them. They also have a hair stylist visit and provide nail care. All of this means a great deal to me. My prayers were answered when I found this amazing place for my mom to live and be cared for.

Elena is amazing, genuinely caring and engaged in providing respectful and effective home care to our elders. She has hired incredible staff. Every time I visit they are moving around either spending time with the residents, providing care or cleaning. The care providers seem happy which means to me that they are being treated well and supported. My mom and dad get a better ratio of care providers compared to a skilled nursing facility and it is more cost effective and feels like they are home. I researched adult family homes and the five star ratings here are justified. Elena's communication is fabulous. She had a team of great care providers. She and her team treat my parents with the respect they deserve having survived 80 years of age and 57 years of marriage. Elena is very open to individual needs and preferences. My mom gets a personal bed bath every day and has not looked better in the past few years. My sister and I are so relieved and grateful. We are always welcomed into the house and Elena has been responsive to all communications. A++++++++.

Must be fired immediately. I applied on June 25th 2026 and spoke directly to Tonya the manager. I followed up with Tonya on Monday June 29th 2026 and Tonya told me that I was approved. She wrote the mailing address on a sticky note in order to change my mailing address which I did effective July 20th. She said the apartment is not ready as it needs paint and a few fixes. On June 30th 2026 I met Bingrong on Facebook dating app and met in person on July 2nd. On July 29th I took my fiancé Bingrong to see if she likes the apartment. Upon touring the apartment it was still under construction because their maintenance guy quit. Tonya suggested to see a different apartment that was ready and it didn't have steps to accommodate my disability. We took a look at it and we liked it. I was concerned about potential problems with my mail but Tonya said she will talk to the mailman and he will switch the apartment numbers. Tonya provided Bingrong with my application in order to add a second household member and send the application to see if she qualifies. The manager said Bingrong must submit the application by 7:00am on July 30th which is the day to move in. We submitted the application around 11:00pm on July 29th. I called on Thursday July 30th to find out if she reviewed Bingrong application. Tonya said she has more important stuff to do and added that as far as she is concerned I don't have an apartment anymore because I didn't disclose my wife name on the application. I told her that I never met Bingrong until July 2nd. I said I never new Bingrong at the time of application. Also, I said that Bingrong is not my wife yet and we are planning to merry on August 4th. She said I lied therefore, no apartment for me. I told her that I already gave my 20 days notice and July 31 is my last day at Meridian Court. I told her that I will be homeless because of her illegal and unethical action. She said it's not her problem and I said see you in court. I also told her that I was already approved and she could just refuse to add Bingrong.

Due to the fact that they are always understaffed we can easily say that It's not an easy turn around for this facility to be successful. I see that each and everyone that is working in this facility works really hard especially the rehab team and most importantly the nurses. If the rehab team and nurses can devide themselves just to meet their patient standard of care, they would. I would say give this facility a chance because inside this building is a great of team members that are working hard to give the care and support that our love one needs.
