The property is supposed to be "controlled access" but there are holes cut in the fence by the homeless occupants of a nearby encampment which abuts next to the railroad tracks. The trains are a HUGE nuisance with the noise, fumes and constant idling airbrake releases. Management is told about the holes and they just look away and say "we are getting bids", weeks turn into months and nothing is done. Man gates can be pulled open from the outside, talking about loss of control access. This is supposed to be a non smoking property but the smell of people smoking weed and tobacco hangs in the air like a noxious cloud. Some residents don't even try to hide their smoking. Dogs are allowed to run around off leash and crap without being picked up., even though there are dog parks located on property. I enjoy the activities and some great neighbors.

However, it now benefits from a dedicated and compassionate team that genuinely supports residents. Notably, the property has introduced complimentary meals--an important improvement from the previous requirement for tenants to pay. Additionally, management has taken a proactive approach in addressing residents' needs by connecting them with food resources and even preparing hot meals on-site. The management always provided incredible service, above and beyond what was expected. She enjoyed getting to know the other guests and delighted both staff and residents when she would sing as she strolled through the facility. If she needed anything, all she had to do was ask and the caring staff would help her. I recommend Radcliffe Place as a perfect place for a Independent senior to live. All staffs were friendly and professional, including the community's van drivers, especially the young man in a flower Hawaii shirt, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I enjoyed my time visiting all four communities, Weatherly Inn is my favorite, excellent retirement facilities, beautiful and upscale. Merrill Gardens & Chateau Valley Center are great too. What a fun way to explore four wonderful communities in the area, learn about pricing, amenities, the active retirement lifestyle, and walked away with a better sense of what senior living in Renton has to offer.

Our entire nursing and care staff are AMAZING. You can see the genuine love for their jobs and the residents. Raena, our Community Relations Director, truly cares about the people that she brings in. She is thorough and makes sure that a prospective resident will be the right fit at our community. If she believes that we cannot offer them something they need, she will help them find another place to go instead. That shows miles of integrity, to me. Our residents touch my life on a daily basis. I can come in to work with an empty cup and leave overflowing. You just feel good when you walk in the doors. There is something in the air here. I would be honored to have a family member, or loved one, live here any day. This is truly a magical place.

I was impressed by the staff's quick responses to emails and their patience with us as we floundered around not knowing what was going to be best for dad. Shout out to Jodi and Ollie, who took us on many re-tours and answered all of our questions. I especially wanted dad in the memory care at Chateau. It seemed like the right place for him. We were ready to move him in and our lives took a shart turn and he did not move in. But, our experience with the staff and their concern for what was best for dad needed to be acknowledged. Three nights ago, my loved one asked them to call 911 for her because she had fallen or blacked out. They did not. One hour later, I arrived and took my loved one the emergency room myself. Then last night, they DID send my loved one to the emergency room, but failed to call me at all. Late the next afternoon (today), when I couldn't reach her, I called Cogir. Only THEN they told me "they sent her out last night" meaning she had gone to the Emergency Room. They acknowledged that their policy is to call me, and that they should have, but they did not call me. No missed calls. No voice mail. This was a specific question I asked before my loved one became a resident there. I received assurances that this was an existing policy. They could talk the talk during their sales pitch, but not so good at walk the walk.
