Solid but not amazing. This place is great for clothes. I appreciate that they have their clothes organized much better than 3Way a few towns to the west. But everything else just felt like junk. Broken toys, cooking wear you wouldn't want to use, especially for the prices they charge But hey they have lots of parking, the staff is helpful and maybe I just went on the wrong day. They have far worse thrift stores out there than Deseret

I have come here many times over the years. Large parking lot, the store is clean, bright and well organized. Lots of clothes, some shoes, aisles for toys, purses, kitchen items, Dvds, Vhs, small knickknacks, frames ... There are separate areas for books, furniture and electronics. The backroom has more furniture, larger frames, lamps, medical stuff like crutches, sports equipment and a bunch of large bins with odds and ends that didn't fit anywhere else. They have several registers, but usually just one is open. Restrooms are clean.

I love this place to thrift! It's SO clean and the prices are so good. They have everything organized so well by color and size. I was able to get my baby a few things and myself. I think I spent $44 and got quite a few items with the body expensive thing costing $7.

Found this store during Covid times because no one would take donations. This was the only thrift store that would, and I'm so happy that we found them! We've been going to this store since 2020 and while some things at times are priced ridiculously...9/10 times we walk out with stuff. I have saved hundreds in clothing and necessities for my family (especially in uniform bottoms and pajamas) and our massive library at home for the kids is largely from years of shopping here. We've been able to spoil the kids with stuffies and toys we typically wouldn't spend money on because it's so much cheaper here. Some of the best finds we've purchased have been kids stuff...clothing with the original tags on them, hot wheels tracks and learning toys...backpacks and school supplies...I'd comfortably say at least 30% of the stuff in my home came from this store. If you are an early bird like me and like to get to places when they open, pro tip for this store is that there are a group of individuals who come here daily to resell and they hover at the front door before opening. It's annoying, but thankfully no one has been aggressive like what I've experienced at other stores. The staff for the most part is friendly. I've only ever experienced in my 100+ times of coming here a few of the younger females giving attitude on rare occasions (I haven't seen them in months so they're probably no longer there). When you do come, prepare to be there 1-2 hours AND have wipes for your hands!

Found wood rack, and heart board here for $1.50 & $3.50.

The only thing that's crazy expensive is the jewelry. Like I know damn well a jade bracelet that I could get for $20 at a crystal shop is not $60!!! It's probably fake. ?? It was 7:40 and they close at 8pm and a lady with a high ass bun was saying out loud they'll be closing in 10 minutes????? It felt like I was being watched by an older man too. He kept fixing the racks when I wasn't really even touching them. And i started to fix them like how he had them and he would still go back a fix it. Like boy. Relax I guess it's my fault for coming in at 7 ? But it was 7:40 and they still had 20 minutes. The store though is super organized, maybe because they fix whatever you move right away lol. And idk the workers gave me weird vibes. Good stuff though and prices are better than good will /: 7/10

I want to start by saying that I believe secondhand stores are meant to serve the community by…read moremaking gently used items available at affordable prices while still allowing the business to make a profit. That balance is what makes secondhand stores so valuable, especially for families who may not always be able to afford retail prices. I have donated to this location several times throughout the years because I genuinely believed my donations were going back into the community and helping families find good-quality clothing and other items at reasonable prices. I have also shopped here many times. Unfortunately, over time, I have started noticing a huge difference between the mission of a secondhand store and the way items are actually being priced and handled at this location. I have personally seen items that I donated later being sold for $15-$20, while other used clothing in good condition is routinely priced at $10 or more. At that point, I have to ask myself: How is this still considered affordable for the community? Another frustrating issue is the lack of Apple Pay. In today's world, contactless payment has become extremely common, and not accepting Apple Pay is a major inconvenience for customers. I have also experienced situations where two identical items were priced differently. When I pointed this out to an employee, the store refused to honor the lower price and told me the other item would simply be put back on the floor in three or more days. When the products are essentially identical, that kind of response feels unnecessarily difficult and disappointing from a customer-service standpoint. After giving this location numerous chances, I have decided that I will no longer be donating here. Instead, I have started seeking out local mothers and families who are actually in need and giving my items to them for free. Honestly, I feel much better knowing that my donations are going directly to someone who needs them rather than being marked up and resold. I understand that organizations such as Goodwill and the Salvation Army need to make money in order to operate. I completely understand that these businesses have expenses and need to generate revenue. However, when used items are being priced so high that they are comparable to or sometimes not much cheaper than what you could purchase brand-new at Walmart or Target, I have to question who the store is really serving. Growing up, my parents didn't always have the money to buy brand-new clothes and shoes for me at the beginning of the school year. Being able to find clean, good-quality clothing at an affordable price made a huge difference for my family. Now that I am in a better financial position, I could easily go to Walmart or Target and spend $25 or more on something brand-new. Instead, I have intentionally chosen to shop at secondhand stores because I want to support businesses that I believe are helping the community. Unfortunately, the pricing, customer service, cleanliness, and overall management at this location have left me extremely disappointed. I truly hope management takes feedback like this seriously. Please do better not just for yourselves as a business, but for the community you are supposed to be serving. There are families who genuinely rely on secondhand stores to find affordable necessities, and they deserve better.

I stopped by the Salvation Army Family Thrift Store hoping to find a worn-out dress I could…read morerepurpose into a pashmina or head scarf. I specifically was looking for something old and falling apart--not boutique pricing. While browsing, I noticed several dresses labeled "donated brand new" priced between $12.99-$17.99, which already felt a little steep for a thrift store. But okay, I kept looking. Eventually, I found exactly what I needed--a gold sequined knit dress... except it was VERY worn, stretched out, and very visibly used. I found the dress with no tag-- No tag. No brand. Perfect for my project! I brought it to the register and explained the situation. The cashier (who seemed to be in a supervisory role) barely looked at it and immediately said, "$12.99." I politely asked how pricing works, especially since their brand new items were priced in the same range. She responded (with a bit of attitude, honestly) that pricing is determined by the warehouse based on brand. So I clarified: this item was clearly not a big name brand, it was very Walmart/target-coded, if you know what I mean-- but USED and heavily worn -could it be priced accordingly? Her response? No. It's $12.99. It was basically Take it or leave it... At that point, I was on a time crunch and needed the material for an event the next day, so I paid the $12.99... but I left genuinely baffled. Paying near-retail thrift prices for something that's visibly USED and worn just doesn't sit right--especially when I could walk into Ross Stores and buy something brand new for the same price. I wanted to give this place a chance, but between the inconsistent pricing and the dismissive customer service, I'll probably stick with Goodwill moving forward--at least they tend to price items based on actual condition and treat customers with a bit more understanding.
