I also had anxiety and…read moredepression and Jordan insisted that I treat those first before looking into an ADHD diagnosis. When I asked about the possibility of untreated/undiagnosed ADHD making my anxiety and depression worse, he agreed it could be a possibility but ultimately decided not to look into ADHD. He put me on some meds that unfortunately did not work for me and at the end of December I decided to go off of them and take a little break. Well, I ended up going to ADHD center of Las Vegas where I ultimately got diagnosed with ADHD. Not only that, but in my report it mentions that my anxiety and depression is most likely related to the fact that I had undiagnosed ADHD. Huh. Well, now that I had that diagnosis I called to see if we could now treat this. Doug (who is great) told me that Jordan wasn't looking to treat anybody with ADHD at the moment but would ask since I was already established. He called back and asked if I could send over the diagnosis report and they would get back to me. This felt super weird but I agreed. Then I got the call that they wouldn't be taking me back. I understand not wanting to treat ADHD, but asking for my diagnosis then ultimately telling me no felt weird personal and intentional. Very unfortunate but I felt the need to write this review to inform others of my experience.

The proper balance between mind and spirit is what I am seeking. The current psychiatrist that they are seeing did put them on medication. The side effects of these medicines are scary and I do not want them to be something they are on for years. Seeking new answers to current issues they are experiencing, I am hoping medication will be a second decision made. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. When I checked into their office the lobby area is very small but we are not going to sit here very long. Plus outside the office in the building that the suite is located in the lobby is huge with tables to sit at and a large tan couch if one seeks real comfort. After filling out the paperwork we were called back to the room where we would meet the doctor. The doctor who took care of us was very helpful and pleasant. Her assistant was charming as well. Feeling very comfortable the doctor and her assistant put us at ease as we discussed the twins business. The doctor informed me of what services that they offer and addressed my concerns about the medications that the twins were currently taking. They offer wonderful and caring psychiatrist here that if have too will medicate the patient, as needed per case. They evaluated the medicines they were taking. The doctor also took into consideration family history and if a diagnosis of the twins is necessary. All could not be accomplished in this visit so I will be returning for another visit, in the mean time the doctors suggestions will be applied to our lives.

This is not the case where all they were looking for is the next person to take money from. One of the worse things Allison did was, when we were done with our session she didn't even walk us out to the front door and said your time is up when would you like to schedule another day and time? All I have to say is WOW! At that, this session was for my daughter when we arrived she said, oh this session will start with myself and my wife, so my daughter had to wait at the front. What a joke! I have text messages from Taylor to bring my daughter. Even the online links she sent were out of wack. I should of researched more especially when you only have 3 reviews. Later to find out Allison is only an intern for the company, go figure. I promise, everyone please be careful and do your research. The owner Rebecca is not even here in Vegas and only does virtual sessions. I feel it's more personal when your trying to see a therapist or psychiatrist in person. APA was able to see me right away and Izabella was so empathetic that I felt comfortable opening up to her about my issues. She really listens to what you you say and don't say. It took less than four months to get me on the right combo of meds to get me stable. She was always on top of it. She made me feel like I had a partner in this. I am so grateful to her. Dr. Arceo was a kind, caring, and compassionate person. He always listened, and I truly felt heard during my appointments with him. He treated everyone with kindness and genuinely cared about helping people. His compassion and dedication were evident in every interaction. I am still in shock that he passed away. His death was sudden and unexpected. I called to confirm my upcoming appointment, and that is when I received the news from his office that he was gone. He will be missed. Dr. Arceo did a wonderful job of making the world a better and brighter place for everyone he touched. I am grateful for the care, kindness, and support he provided throughout the years. She also deals with EMDR a lot of therapist don't practice EMDR so if you would like to try it out, and I believe she takes most insurances, but if you have any more questions about your mental health. Don't do it. I had a…read morevery frustrating experience with this office, both with the front desk and with Dr. Nguyen. The office manager was, at times, extremely rude over the phone.There were multiple scheduling errors, including one instance where she called me in a very abrasive tone insisting I was supposed to be in-office when my appointment was actually scheduled as telehealth. When I calmly explained this, she told me I was wrong. She later called back after realizing her mistake, but did not offer any apology for the way she spoke to me. On other visits, I could overhear her speaking harshly to other patients on the phone, which was honestly uncomfortable and unprofessional. As for Dr. Nguyen, appointments felt very rushed and impersonal. Visits were often only a few minutes long, and I didn't feel there was much effort to understand my symptoms or adjust my treatment thoughtfully. I was frequently interrupted or talked over, which made it difficult to fully explain what I was experiencing. The communication between the office and the pharmacy was a constant issue. I was left to deal with the pharmacy myself over and over again. On top of that, Nguyen threatened me when it came to my medication. I was repeatedly told I might not be prescribed my medication if I didn't pick it up "on time," even when delays were caused by pharmacy issues or my work schedule. At times my treatment was actually changed because of this, which completely threw things off for me. My final experience was the last straw. He called me nearly 30 minutes early for a telehealth visit while I was getting ready for work. When I said I'd call back at the SCHEDULED time, he told me telehealth would no longer be an option for me and I'd have to come into the office. When I explained that I live 30 minutes away and these visits are extremely short (less then 5 minutes), his response was "that's okay girl nice scenic drive for you" I switched doctors that same day after that and the difference is night and day. My current provider actually listens, communicates with the pharmacy properly, and treats me like a patient. Would not recommend this office.
