I would've given his place five stars but the cost for the dry cleaning is like everybody else's. And the hours are pretty strict even though it says here on yelp, they are open from 8 to 6. They are not. They are actually open from 9 to 5. I will say the clothes came out excellent! read more

The service was friendly and prompt. They returned my jersey the next day. It was fairly priced but they do send out their stuff. It is not done in house. Jersey came back clean but they did damage some of the stitching on the left arm. read more

I recently relocated back to the desert and this cleaners was close to my house. I dropped off 12items... 6 sleevless blouses, 5 dresses and 1 pair of Capri pants and it was well over $100. I took the same items it's to another cleaners and it was $42.88. What did Discount cleaners do that was 60 dollars more? And to make matters worse my pants weren't pressed and either was one of the dresses. The clothes don't smell good at all...were they even dry cleaned or just pressed? I've been to many cleaners throughout the Coachella valley and I must say they have the best affordable prices. The quality they put into the dry cleaning is unbeatable. I love bringing my clothes here as well with seeing Susana. An employee who is consistent and who is always smiling as soon as I walk in the door. I had a very disappointing experience on a 1 of a kind quilted art work. The service person misread the ticket as PRESS ONLY and washed /dry cleaned the artwork thus pretty much ruining it. There was nothing to be done ...The owner was extremely accommodating and reimbursed the amount of the piece. I honestly did not think that would happen. Thank you for excepting the responsibility!!! Had a suit and shirt dry-cleaned here. The girls in the front were friendly and they did a great job on my suit. They were able to get a stain out of my jacket and fixed a seam on my pants. Very affordable prices, I would recommend this place. read more

If I can give a minus 10 rating to this shop, I would. Bad alteration job, bad service with a clerk behind the counter who has no customer service skills and no common sense. Their tailor ruined my dress although I took the original sample that I had cut off the bottom to show them how I wanted it done, the clerk said that if they can not do it the same way she would just send it back undone. I wanted the bottom of my dresses hemmed with just overlock, no stitches, just how it was done originally. When I came back to pick it up, I saw that that it was done exactly how I DID NOT WANT IT! I told her that is not what I wanted and reminded her that I left the sample and we discussed it, she said she can send it back to have the stitches taken out, I said no, it is a chiffon fabric and it's very delicate. Then she wanted to charge me for it anyway, and when I told her that I should not have to pay for it, she said fine, but don't come back here again! I was dumbfounded, and asked her if I heard it correctly. She said yes. So I paid for the other two items dry cleaning and left. Needless to say I will never set foot in that shop again, and I do not recommend it to anyone! read more

I agree with previous review. The clothes often seem pressed but not washed. Sometimes my husband's work shirts still smell like sweat. In May, I took in a pair of pants to have the zipper replaced. It wasn't visibly broken, but it would catch when I zipped it upso I wanted a new one. They charged $10. I went to put them on for work and wouldn't you know, they didn't replace the zipper at all, just took my money. On closer inspection, you could see that it was still original stitching. Needless to say, I won't go there any more. However, I did make them replace the zipper, since I already paid for it. And they didn't even try to argue, so it must be common practice for them to pull this crap! And to only take cash in 2012 is a bit ridiculous. Also, they don't even say hello when you come in. Very poor customer service. I run a business, too, and customer service should be the top priority! read more

They have an amazing seamstress. I take all my pants to be hemmed here. Staff is always very nice and items are always ready when promised. $8 for hemming is a great deal! Open till 6pm during the week is very helpful also. read more

Great service, very affordable and the staff are courteous! Have been going there for 5 years now and have had awesome service every time.

I have used this cleaner for almost a year, because they were close. (Shame on me for being lazy). From the start my clothes did not come back clean, and they often charge for dry cleaning, but I am certain they were only laundered. Often, too, they close early on Saturdays - although their sign says that they are open later. On a few occasions I stopped by to pick up my order at around 4:30 - and they are already closed. I bring my items in my personal laundry bag, and they never remember to return it to me. Last week, I brought in 5 shirts and one dress and the bill was $38.00! FOR LAUNDERING! They count long shirts as dresses. Additionally, they do not take debit or credit cards, so you always have to pay by cash or check. I am going to try Express Cleaners based on other yelp reviews. read more

Beware, they don't have a tailor on site to assist you. This place sends all of their alterations out to another location. They told me I have to pin my clothes myself. I wanted to have my jeans hemmed and retain the original hem. I was told to fold my pants to the length I wanted and pin them before I bring them in. They don't have a tailor on site. I asked what are you supposed to do when you want a dress taken in at the sides or arms and she said bring in a dress that fits the way you like it and they will complete the alterations based on that dress. I told the lady that makes absolutely no sense at all. I've never heard of an alterations shop not having a tailor on site to pin and mark where the alterations are to be completed. This business is completely backwards. Furthermore, I would never leave another item with them if it weren't being tailored. I'm not going to risk the other item being lost or damaged. I've been here several times and they're always prompt and courteous. They even re-hemmed some pants for me that they'd done before, but unraveled within days, with no charge. A nice place to go, conveniently located in the same section as Walmart, Mexican food, Subway and a sushi place. read more

Not satisfied at all with this place. My clothes inevitably come back looking like they were just pressed but not washed. This applies to both my shirts and pants. I have been using Desert Discount Cleaners for over 6 years. They never fail to do a terrific job on my garments and home décor fabric items. Staff is welcoming and friendly with sincere smiles. I feel appreciated as a customer there. I normally wait until I have a big order of numerous garments which is difficult to carry to my car.
