I hired this company do some repair work to my roof in December of 2025. Although the work originally appeared to be satisfactory, upon further inspection i noticed several items from their bid had not actually been completed. Unfortunately i made a full and complete payment before noticing the job had not been completed. I have reached out to both John and Peter several times regarding the issues. They continue to promise to come back out and complete their work, but they never show up. They have promised me they would come back out at least 5 times in the last month, but then radio silence. It is a very frustrating experience. Please be cautious in choosing to work with this company, and if you take that chance, be sure to FULLY inspect their work prior to making final payment, otherwise you will likely never hear from them again... read more

Desert Eagle home improvement is one of three vendors I contacted for quotes to fix a leak in one section of my roof. All three vendors advised me that it is actually time for a new roof... More specifically, new underlayment for my roof. All three turned in bids that were within $1000 to $2000 of each other. Many of the quotes included the same line items, but desert Eagle home improvement was not going to nickel and dime me for each sheet of plywood, for example. My boyfriend used to be a roofer, so I had him talk to at least two of the vendors, and let me know which one he liked the best and who seems the most honest and reliable, without telling him the price quote for any of them. He chose Desert Eagle home improvement. John Baker and his dad were kind, responsive, and very reasonable. They were honest and fair about the quote, and they honored their quote, even when John discovered that my roof required more tiles than he had originally thought. His crew showed up two days later and did my entire roof in three days total. It looks amazing. When they had to replace the wood facia, they painted it to match my trim. And then John took it even a step further when he noticed that there were areas of the actual paint on my house that were damaged. He actually went to the paint store to match my paint, came back, and painted and touched up, so if there would be no flaws. This was not included in the quote. I've been trying to find a contractor to fix my roof for 6 months. Of the 14 companies I requested a quote from, I received 0 responses. I was pleasantly surprised when it was just a day later, after submitting my request on their website, that I got a response. Everyone was professional and courteous, through the entire process. The owner came out, checked everything, and walked me through everything that would need to be done. He offered a written quote via email, and there was no pressure to get his company the job. I did some research, and the quoted price was well within industry standards for the scope. After receiving the quote, I hired them. They were able to get on the job within a week. Part of my roof was a real mess, with a lot of rotten wood. The roofers got it all taken care of in a day, and left the site well cleared, hauling away all of the debris. It looks fantastic. Loved rainstorms until a few weeks ago when I discovered a leak in my laundry room. And by 'leak' I mean semi torrential shower, requiring towels, buckets and wine (for my attitude). I would not recommend this company for roof replacements. Their subcontractor evidently disposed of the bird prevention wires that John promised would be replaced and when called upon it, John created some wild story that was obviously untrue and did not correct replace the wires. I had to call the crew back to finish the tile and flat-roof coating job. After the first rain I discovered that the water was diverted onto the entryway of the house. After two calls to the business owner with no response, I finally had to correct the problem myself. I also had to request that John document on the invoice that there was a 10-year warranty on the roof (which was verbally stated before). I have no confidence that there is a warranty. read more
