I want to express my thanks to Danny Clark and the whole team at Arizona's Finest Roofing (AFR). I had sought bids from 5 different local contractors. All of them presented as professional and courteous. But Danny from AFR was different. Each of the other 4 contractors provided me with an estimate to remove and replace our home's roof, but Danny offered a solution. He began by explaining different roofing techniques and showing me various materials. Then being a 3rd generation roofer he came up with a plan best suited for our application. The other roofers simply wanted to shingle over what was already in place. Danny opted to install a roof that had the potential to both insulate and reduce costs. He decided to place shingles on the pitched section of the roof and foam on the flat sections. To me that sounded like a unique way to beat the summer time heat here in Arizona. Now don't get me wrong, this option came at a premium but I am optimistic that once I have the opportunity to compare electrical usage data between this year and last, I am confident I am going to see a difference. And to anyone living through the Arizona summers, any cost savings in electricity is most welcome. I also want to take this opportunity to thank his office manager Tabytha, the site foreman Glen, and the two work crews that did the actual work. All of these folks working together helped the entire job go smoothly. I would also like to mention that once the work was complete, Danny came out to do a QC check to ensure that what was delivered was up to his standard. So in closing I would strongly recommend AFR to anyone in the metro Phoenix area in need of repairs or a brand new roof. Bad experience! Erika came out to check the job, took measurements, & pics, verified my contact info and said she would get back to me on pricing. Called the office 4 days later, report was that I was not on 'the list'. Never heard back. Ever. I can only assume my job was smaller than they prefer (about 9 squares), but they didn't have the decency to say that. Very poor business practice. You run the risk of being GHOSTED when you work with Arizona's "Finest". This apparently is SOP for them if you check other reviews. read more

I had a twister come through and tear up some of my roof. I put a notice on yelp and got an immediate response from Arizona's finest roofing. The first thing I noticed was that person that answered the phone was professional and polite. She took my information and told me they would be out in a couple of hours. Danny came out, went up on the roof re-organize the tiles took a look around and found a couple of cracked tiles. He gave me a very fair price. And fixed them immediately. I got 2 quotes for the underlayment removal and replacement. Arizona Finest Roofing came out on top ... not only because of a lower price ... but because ... 1.) They only use premium Polybond underlayment (30 year warranty) in their installs. The other company would charge about the same price for just felt ... and than 10% more for a 30 year product. 2.) Removal and replacement of all drip edges and birdstops. This allows for the use of leak protecting self sticking Elastoflex strips on the new drip edges. (See picture) 3.) Because of the drip edge and birdstop replacement, they could add the trim boards between the drip edge and facia that the builder failed to install. 4.) Replacement drip edges are 3" x 3" which allows water to come down further and also fully cover the added trim boards. 5.) Drop off the drip edge, birdstop and trim board a week before so I could paint to match our trim color exactly instead of using factory white, black or brown. 6.) Had the option to select arched wooden batten that prevent water from collecting on the backside of the battens, extending the life of the underlayment. The final price was $500 more than the estimate because 4 sheets of OSB and sanded plywood were need to replace known damaged wood, but they did not charge for the stack of 2x4s and 2x6s required, nor did they charge for the 400 replacement tiles required. The other company would have charged $1200 for those needed tiles. Matt provided the estimate and final inspection. With a 20 minute walk around the house he was able to get the information he needed, indicating that the internet now provides the tools to complete the estimate. Appreciated that he pointed out the builder's trim board mistake. Fellippe was the crew boss and ran a tight ship in blistering heat. Without pointing it out he noticed a piece of flashing that was above the window ledge and promptly had it corrected. His crew did the majority of work in 3 days, with just a few hours the 2 mornings after to finish up. Glen kept the crew supplied with what was needed and went the extra mile to locate matching tile. read more

We recently had our roof replaced by Arizona's Finest Roofing. The owner Danny is very knowledgeable, honest and reliable. We had a microburst hit our house which caused the roof to leak and he came out within an hour to do a repair during a storm to prevent any further damage to our house. The office manager Tabytha is very helpful in answering any questions and concerns we had regarding the repair, purchase and installation of a new roof. The roofing material that was recommended is of good quality with a better than average guaranteed warranty. The roof was professionally installed in one day including cleanup. The cost based on the quality of the roofing materials is fair and competitive based on other estimates we received. Danny and his crew went above and beyond to help us with having our new roof installed including necessary repairs required to increase the longevity and value of the roof. This company made a premature diagnosis and an unnecessary roof repair for $2,250. They then proceeded to come out to our house a total of FIVE times as we had ongoing concerns with a leak, not every time correlated with a storm. I even asked 2-3x if I should call a plumber, I was told "no" and reassured it was a roof leak; after extending the roof repair they just said it was the thick insulation that needed time to dry out. It's not our field of knowledge and we made the mistake of trusting them as professionals. It ended up being a leak in our pex line above the vanity. By this time it was ongoing for several weeks resulting in additional damage, ended up being 6-7k worth of work. We tried reaching out to the company multiple times including talking to the owner to see if there was at least a partial refund we could receive, he became angry and even accused us of "blackmailing" him when we stated we had no other recourse than leave a review at this point. He did eventually follow-up with an email, but then ghosted us when we responded to that and called again when we didn't get a response. Lesson learned, but hope it helps others. read more

We got hit by a windstorm this week and had some damage to our fairly new (4 years) asphalt shingle roof. I called a few companies, one of which quoted me almost as much as the whole roof cost in 2019 to replace a large area of the roof (much larger than the damaged area). Danny from Arizona's Finest came out the next day, quoted me literally less than a tenth of that to repair just the damaged part, and said he could start on it right then. It took two hours and looks good as new now. I really appreciate the savings, the peace of mind from getting this fixed quickly, and the amazing work! After calling the office, I was told that someone was on their way.... 1 hour passed, nothing. another 30 minutes passed... nothing. During the massive monsoon storm, we unfortunately had water leaking into our home. We requested getting the area covered with tarp to prevent further damage. The receptionist, Laurie, was so kind, courtesy & empathetic, and was super helpful in scheduling someone for that day! Our appointment required us to be patient, but the wait was well worth it. Arizona's Finest Roofing recently installed a new shingle roof on my house in Phoenix. I interviewed seven prominent roofing companies in the Phoenix area. To help with water management around my house, I previously had gutters installed. Coming from the midwest, and being from a third generation custom home construction family, gutters are never an issue when putting on a new roof. For some reason in Arizona, roofers do not like it if you have gutters. Almost all of the seven roofers I interviewed wanted nothing to do with my gutters. They said I had to have them taken down and then reinstalled after the roof was completed. I knew this was absurd, but I talked to a gutter company just to inquire about the cost. The cost would have been $400 to remove them and then another $400 to reinstall them. And they said the gutters could very likely be damaged in the process. Then I read some favorable reviews of Arizona's Finest Roofing. So I had owner Danny Clark come pay me a visit. I told him about the gutter situation and he assured me I was right and gutters for his crews are not an issue. Danny's team helped me with the insurance claim process. As soon as my claim was settled, Danny's crew went to work tearing off my old roof and installing my new roof--leaving my gutters in place and unharmed. We had a small leak in our roof during a heavy storm Dec. 23, 2021 in Florence, AZ. I contacted Arizona's Finest Roofing on Dec. 27th just after 8:00am. I spoke with Laurie Richards who was very empathetic and extremely helpful. She was professional and efficient and highly personable. She arranged for a technician to attend our home that morning. By 10:00am Lead Estimator Matt Loccisano arrived and immediately began an inspection of our roof. Matt found some issues that required some quick fixes and completed the repairs within an hour. he did a thorough examination of our roof, checked tiles and underlay and made small repairs where needed. He further checked our flat patio roof and recommended that it be replaced. Matt was clearly knowledgeable, professional and skilled. He is a very pleasant person and we felt that we could trust his opinion and recommendations completely. We have since had our flat roof replaced and the job was done efficiently. The crew members finished the job in good time and once again were polite and friendly. Just had my roof repaired by Arizona's Finest Roofing. I am thrilled with the process. Like others who have commented here, we had damage to the room from the storms in August. Laurie was a wonderful point of contact for me, always responsive and kept me up to date on the scheduling - they were clearly busy repairing a lot of houses. Matthew came out and scoped out the problem, took lots of photos and too plenty of time to explain the problems to me. And Francisco and his team did a great job on the repair. We asked Arizona's Finest to come out after the monsoon storm a few weeks ago damaged our roof. The person making the appointment was nice but told us because they had such a high volume of calls it would be a few weeks before they could see us. A few days before the appointment they changed the time without asking if the new time would work for us because they were so busy. Today, Danny came out, told my husband he would look around himself and then left without another word. No letting us know what he found or explaining to us what repairs he felt were necessary. I called the office and they again just said they were very busy right now and quoted me a much higher amount then others I have received. It feels like he just threw a high number out there because we were not worth his time. He also missed a place on our roof in the quote which we would have pointed out to him if he had bothered talking to us afterwards. read more
